A less blunt tool for Lim Guan Eng? Really, Mr Mukherjee?
by Malay Mail managing editor Leslie Lau and can't help but to say
"Hey, I got a lot of that kind of whacking too Mr Mukherjee."
I got them in the comments section of these recent posts
Guan Eng is probably Dr Mahathir's ploy
Guan Eng got dad and new mentor
I'm quite sure I'm going to get some more for this post.
Heck, I even begin to believe that there are people working on shifts, 24 hours a day, just to be on the lookout for anyone who dares to say even the slightest bad thing about Guan Eng.
Yup, you say anything not so flattering about Guan Eng these days and you would kena whacked kaw kaw by....errr innocent bystanders.....you will kena extra whacking if you say they are from DAP.
Really, Guan Eng is now untouchable.
The guy can do no wrong and he can throw all the tantrum that he wants because he's a saint and saviour of all Malaysians.
Well, after kena whacked for criticising him, that's what I thought of him.
Really, no one is supposed to criticise him, okay.
Anyway, I do wonder if Leslie Lau wrote his article after he got a phone call early in the morning because someone was not happy that Malay Mail published Mukherjee's article.
Mukherjee's article was also published by Bloomberg;
Malaysia Needs More Tactful Handling of 1MDB Mess
Maybe Bloomberg's managing editor too will write an article later to whack Mukherjee for trying to mess with Guan Eng.
Maybe that editor too got an early morning call complaining about Bloomberg not being fair to the newly minted minister of finance and asked to write a counter article against Mukherjee like Malay Mail did.
Well, about these probable early morning phone calls, they reminded me of the story behind this article from 10 years ago;
What's your beef, Guan Eng?
Yes, I like this quote from the article,
"Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far."
Boring, boring, boring.
Write about the beach, Annie, at least that has some interest vs. this repetitive crap.
Better still, get your friend JMD to blog again.
We need his wisdom for the future of Malaysia.
//Really, no one is supposed to criticise him, okay.//
Not sure why you kena whacked for criticizing LGE.
In the past, I have called Lim Guan Eng a moron and not a statesman and nobody seems to mind.
Maybe that's because I also acknowledge he is an administrator par excellence - he really knows how to manage the "business".
In a bit over ten years, LGE and his team have made Penang into one of the more prosperous states in Malaysia.
And this was despite the previous BN government seemingly trying its hardest to make Penang fail, like choking off shipping traffic, refusing to help in expanding the airport, etc.
OK, maybe it is better to have a politician who can say nice things, clever things, funny things, but is clueless as to how to improve the economy - at least one has a good time on the way to economic Hell, right?
I mean, remember all the lovely things Najib used to say about 1MDB and our national debt?
He is still saying them now and damn it, I have to admit it, his statements sound so nice even if not believable.
Making nice lovely statements, aka motherhood statements, was a hallmark of the previous BN administration.
The Malaysian phenomena was such that it spawned a brand-new acronym - NATO : No Action Talk Only.
The way I see it, if LGE can do the same for Malaysia as what he did for Penang, then yes, Lim Guan Eng will be untouchable :)
I keep hearing about how wonderful is Penang but for me the most wonderful place in the country is in Pahang.Delete
Negeri Pahang banyak hutang?
Orang Johor pun ok. Di Johor and Bangsa Johor.
Dekat Johor, sampai pembangkang pun diberikan duit peruntukkan. Begitu hebatnya orang Johor.
PTPTN pun tak payah bayar kalau gaji tak sampai RM4000.
Ok lah Annie.
Bangsa Johor tu apa? Saya tak iktiraf pun benda2 macam tu.Delete
Hahahahaha. Nothing interesting. Gladiator is right in his comments. BN started to mother usDelete
Waa aa !!!, manyak senang hati ,tengok blother Lim punya celita lagi ,lia manyak populer sikalang lor rr.
Uncle Lim mesti manyak syok juga lea aa ,tengok lia punya junior sutak jadi olang penting lalam ini negala ,manyak baloi lea aa tahun-tahun juang maa aa.

Tokong sis.Dulu tokong kat Bukit Bendela sikalang sudah jadi tokong Mazu kat Federal.Of course, kena ade ekk sikitlah.Delete
Whatever Sis..this tokong mazu has done a wonderful job as Finance Minister.I suka.
the guy has been in prison before - jika itu untouchable - then Nazri must be lovableReplyDelete
Tun M sent him to jail twice. Najib tried to get him in jail but fell short due to unforeseen loss in GE14.. so I don’t think Lim Guan Eng is untouchable, you just need a smarter man to touch him. 😀ReplyDelete
Some members in current cabinet line up had had life behind cells by the same person who appointed them as ministers. With the like of Mat Sabu, Guan Eng, Azmin just to name a few.Delete
Guan Eng’s father, Kit Siang and Gobind’s late father, Karpal were not spared. But today, all of them are in the same team, sitting side by side working for the best of the country. God always have the best plan.
It is OK to criticize him, but at least, make it one that is valid and substantial.ReplyDelete
Silly superficial "criticism" like him being "tactless, too direct and straightforward, too "honest", doesn't care about stock market, etc." makes no / limited sense lar.
Besides, your concentration and focus only on LGE (together with other pro BN fellas and fellas with former roots in BN) seems to smell like a strategic attack to me. Really need to give up this racial game / mentality in order for Malaysia to progress in a globalized world lar.
Criticise Guan Eng is racial game/mentality, is it?Delete
Nothing of note would have struck me if it was just one or two sporadic attacks on him.Delete
But now it is the previous administration coming out to attack him, certain international media (that indirectly supported or "endorsed" the previous administration) coming out to attack him, certain folks in the new Government with roots to the new Opposition coming out to attack him, and many pro-BN folks coming out to attack him... over some shallow, silly and senseless reasons... smells concerted and targeted to me.
Some old mentality fellows don't like a Malaysian Chinese at the helm of the MOF; some old mentality UMNO folks think that the best way for them to regain power is to take a rip at the race factor of the Cabinet / Pakatan Harapan leaders.
Give better and more substantial reasons for your attacks on LGE, then at least it will be more belieavable lar.
No annie, the big picture .. u missing it. Criticise LGE/ minister of finance then Malaysia cannot progress in globalized world....according to WCDelete
Well, I always teased Guan Eng since I started blogging and definitely not just after he became MoF. You can check this blog's archive to confirm that. I found him to be funny and annoying at the same time. Really, I think of him the same even if he is an Eskimo man.Delete
Thian Eng low, 14:36
Yaa lorr , manyak setuju lu cekap lea aa ,Wa manyak sokong maa aa.
Siapa bolih kasi baik kita mesti kasi sokong maa aa ,jahat punya kita kasi tenteng lor rr.
Nobody is "whacking" anyone.ReplyDelete
It's free speech ... no problem there!
Is it not bloomberg that carry the interview with the ex PM right before GE14? Was it not a rosy Malaysian economic picture painted by bl00mberg?ReplyDelete
it does not matter matter whether LGE is chinese or malay as long as he catch all these MOF & 1MDB thieves & pirates OKReplyDelete
Agreed. Its free speech. It is easier said as slogan then but it does feel different when you are at the butt or the target. So lets drop the double standard, stop the seiged mentality and stop looking backwards n keep referring to how shitty the old ways with BN this and BN that..stop the hangover from winning the election...Just start work, work more n less talk really is all we wishing on LGE.ReplyDelete
The rakyat has choose PH this time and not BN.
Free speech everyone
Why fear LGE?? Because he korek all the things? When Tun Dr M hear direct from Finance Minister LGE the real figures, he also feel very sad. We have fox Najib guarding the hens, and been signing away national treasure. Now all the 1 MBD billions dunno go where already, keep paying interests. Najib should be thrown into jail immediately.ReplyDelete
Signed ECRL, loan from CHina, banking also use Chinese bank, contractors, workers all from China and not even get tax with GST. So, Malaysians just watch only and pay....and finally pay debt 92 billions to the Chinese companies. You think Terengganu people can afford train tickets? How long to collect back and clear 92 Billions debt?
I read articles, lorry driver not showing passport in immigration get fined RM1,000, Musa Aman disappear and record not even in imigresen like Altantuya....not a single fine he need to pay. Different law for different people? rakyat need to pay fine, Musa Aman gets away?
Jamal Yunos also can stay at home and depend on his mood whether he need to show up in the police station to record his statement? Where is the law? What is Muhyiddin doing? Why all these people get special treatment? Untouchables?
This is so funny...now i am beginning to think Annie is correct..ha ha ha...cucuk sikit LGE tiba tiba naik nama Muhyidin...tak pasal pasal...i think some people are losing the plot already..Delete
It is obvious there are 2 or 3 dap hardcore supporters checking Annie's blog a few times daily.Delete
Annie, u should be proud they find it worth their while to attack u! They loath to admit it but they are addicted to your blog!
Jamal is one out of 192 KBUs. All KBUs are extremely powerful and filthy rich. Like super rich. If you drive by their houses, which usually located in kampung-kampung and countryside, you’d be suprised how big their houses are. With various models of luxury cars line up in the garage.Delete
You wonder how did they earn their wealth merely being local leaders. No wonder Umno members would kill each other to be KBUs. It’s a ticket to riches. Even police and MACC didn’t dare to touch them. In certain cases, even DOs kow tow and took orders from them.
When MO1 still in power, he took a really good care to these KBUs. Attended to to all their needs. That’s way I’m not suprised of Jamal’s antics all this while. He got a big licence to fool around.
You pandai you buat lah blog pembangkang. Saya tak berapa pandai la.Delete
Lim guan bukan tidak boleh disentuh, bukan tidak boleh ditumbang, more than that pun boleh..ReplyDelete
Track rekod, lim guan eng pernah dipenjarakan, antara the lowerst point of kehidupan.
Now I know why you always hantam LGE...LGE ignore you and You jeles kan dan syokk kat muka dia yg hensem tu..Dah rezeki orang...dulu banduan dapat jadi Ketua Menteri dan akhirnya dapat jadi Menteri Kewangan.ReplyDelete
Right from the very beginning of your story lines it is very obvious that you are very bad sore loser and a sour grape. Nothing is good to you unless and until its from the BN . Everyone one of your postings recently does not reflect that you intended to be neutral. Your writings from the very beginning is reflective of your frustrations of UMNO losing the general elections. There is nothing that you can do anymore except receive the rakyats verdict. Stop the crap and go with the flow. If you cant do that then nexts best thing is go to Katmandu to meditate and hibernate.ReplyDelete
Errr...actually I didn't lose anything. I'm still enjoying life and writing my stupid blog. Thank you.Delete
Nobody force you to read whatever "crap" Annie writes in her blog.
Here's Harry S Truman famous quote especially for you. "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen".
annie is sober when compared to anor dumbo 'anina try me' winkDelete
after raya, draining the BN swamp will commence...ReplyDelete
Reason Annie attack LGE very simple because that little guy is watching the finance account and know all Najib dirty tricks. That's why they fear LGE. So, the directive ordered by Najib bloggers are to attack LGE. Must tutup accounting books, don't let more people see Najib steal money tactics. It's time to throw Najib into prison.ReplyDelete
SRC International cannot service loan, then just rampas that money from Najib collected to pay back the debt and sell Rosmah birkin bags collection. That will cover some of the loan repayment.
Totally agree with Anonymous @ 19:00ReplyDelete
Saya amat sedih melihat keadaan orang melayu berpecah.
Jangan lah dok bersedih. The world is changing. Race is gets you no where in this world.Delete
I think it's ok to whack LGE. He's a loose cannon anyway. He should act like a menteri not like some "taukeh judi nak gaduh dengan orang selalu".ReplyDelete
You have to have some kind of smart diplomacy being a Minister of Finance. Look when Tun Daim says something, the market will react positively.
Instead of learning from the best that are those in the council of elders. He seeks help from his fellow dapsters Tony Pua & Ong Ming Kian.
Trust me, it's useless to have a Cambridge or Oxford degree if you are lack wisdom. We had one Oxford grad from Pak Lah's days till now. He even supported the penyamun or he is one too ?
Meanwhile in other news, Bursa fell again, by 21 points, and the ringgit is almost at RM4 to 1 USD. More “transparent”;statements please sir!ReplyDelete

//I keep hearing about how wonderful is Penang but for me the most wonderful place in the country is in Pahang//
Some parts of Penang are really pretty, especially around Balik Pulau.
I never knew Penang was separated by a ridge until I went there a couple of years ago - I was a science student, OK? So, my geography is lousy.
Hm, dunno much about Pahang but then I dunno much about a lot of places in Malaysia.
I tend to just stay in my kampung when I am there.
I am not much better where I work either - I don't go out much, I just go to work and go home.
One day, I will try to travel around Malaysia and check out the sights.
Don't worry tun m is gonna whack lge for u. I know he is itching to do that.ReplyDelete
Actually huh, I was informed by a reliable little bird that Tun M patted LGE on the shoulder and asked him to at least have more sleep and rest as he had an avalanche of work still waiting for him....that's why he approved for Tony Pua etc to come on board to help out at no fee/payment. There so much shits in them accounts....and they got the shock of their lives when they opened up the Red Files. Aiyoooo....Delete
LGE is ok la. Nobody is perfect, true or not?ReplyDelete
Would you rather prefer PKHKC like Ali Rustam or Mohd Isa?
It’s a free country, you can write pretty much write anything you want.
To say that people will whack you is just being whinny.
Such a fucking drama queen.
annie you got freedom to whack LGE so people whether DAP or others also got freedom to whack you meh...ReplyDelete
Sure. That's why I'm publishing all these comments whacking me.Delete
You have to admit Annie does give freedom for comments to be published here la. Try going to MOM's blog ( that is, RPK la )...you won't be admitted unless you lick his ass for every spin and fake news he spun there, although he quietened a fair bit immediately after he falls flat on his face betting RM 100,000 that BN will win GE14. Now that he got over his depression, he's now gearing up to attack and spin again...looks like he's still in the dedak game..Delete
LGE IS A DUNGU.ReplyDelete
Bursa down another 56 points today.Delete
