UPDATES 4

As at this moment, my source in Johor said Osman Sapian is not going to be Johor MB.

The leading candidate for now is Salahuddin Ayub.

There are other candidates though.

UPDATES 3

Have to wait for tomorrow for this one. Sigh.

UPDATES 2

My WhatsApp conversation with my PH friend in JB just now ;

UPDATES

Just received information from PH friend in KL that TS Muhyiddin Yassin will be sworn in as MB at Istana Pasir Pelangi JB at 3pm today.

If true okay lah.

At least Muhyiddin may be able to say no if he is asked to do what he is not supposed to do as MB.

Let's just wait and see.

May 11 2018 2.17am.

ORIGINAL POST

Just received this from a PH friend in Johor.

State Pribumi secretary Datuk Osman Sapian was said to be now the leading candidate for the Johor MB post.

I'm praying that this is a fake news.

Osman, who won in Kempas is not going to be a good Johor MB.

Really.

If you all don't believe me, please double check with others who know Johor politics.

Honestly, I have nothing personal against Osman, but if he becomes MB I believe it is going to be business as usual in Johor....not better.

Well, I know quite a bit about him when he was with Umno.

I'm hoping PH will put someone better such as Amanah deputy president Salahuddin Ayub as MB.

At least I know that he is a good man with integrity.

He will defend the people's rights from bad people. Im quite sure of that.

Hopefully the PH leadership will make the right decision.

"Honestly, I have nothing personal against Osman, but if he becomes MB I believe it is going to be business as usual in Johor....not better."

Satu dunia nampak.

Awak tidak recognize seseorang tidak bermaksud satu dunia bersetuju .After all no one perfect.

Betul seperti kata mastura, khaled adalah MB umno, budaya umno.. Tidak sama MB PH. Budaya PH.
After all, apa definasi MB yang bagus? kita sudah ada pengalaman dan contoh PM ke 6 yang bagus, bagus apa?

    6. Encik RD of 23.30, kelewatan Tun Det mengangkat
The Agong and his Timbalan (Sultan Nazrin) are two western educated men. They can think outside the box.
Do U know why AGONG keluar negara at this crucial moment whereas he should standby at the Istana Negara to perform his duty as Raja Berperlembagaan......???
Ucap terima kasih kepada Baginda berdua, otherwise we are now in the state of emergency.
Bad looser boleh buat apa sahaja to cling onto power.

    9. From Puad Facebook page:

Tiba tiba mereka diketepikan begitu sahaja.

      Sour grapes kot.....

    Much, much worse.

Not because they will be arrested but because a huge decaying log of corruption will be rolled to one side and all will see what they have been up to.

I will predict now that Sabah, Perak & Kedah will all flip to PH in GE15 - or before.

The new govt must also fix the gerrymandering via a new & impartial EC.

All those dirty tricks and still kena wipe-out...Malaysians have had enough.

Osman Sapian also good fren with najib, tengku putra etc.. He is a refined graduate from university of umno specialising on the field of political survival.

Why is he so important that he must be made a menteri besar? He was a nobody in umno johor then, and no one bothered to look at him before rumours of mb appointment came out. What can he contribute to the powers that love him?

  14. Words of wisdom from Raja Katak:

Saya tidak nampak umno-bn dapat bangkit semula. Ia nya berkubur buat selama lamanya.

  15. Annie,

I was right about the popular vote for BN but my maths is so bad someone else had to do it for me:

Based on the Malay Mail team’s tally and calculations of the GE14 results, BN’s vote share of the 11,642,437 valid votes nationwide for parliamentary seats is only 36.42 per cent.

    Just over 1/3.

In PRU13 I think for BN it was close to 48%.

I never thought this could happen.

Only one-third of Malaysians voted BN in PRU14.

    They tried everything:

    - Gerrymandering

    - Anti Fake News laws

    - Hold election on weekday

    - Short campaign period

    - Massive dedak

    - Disqualified PH candidates on the spot

    And still...

    ...only 1/3.

  16. Hisommudin Bakar, CEO of research house Ilham Centre, said the popular vote share results reflected an internal protest within BN’s Malay-based party Umno.

“Umno members protested by voting for the opposition,” he told Malay Mail when contacted, noting that this was in part due to Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Razak openly attacking PH chairman and former Umno president Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad openly on public television with references to an “old man” or “93-year-old old man”.

“It’s a big mistake, serious mistake because the Malays pantang (are against) insulting the elderly or insulting teachers. Tun Mahathir is like a mentor to Umno, however big his mistake, don’t insult openly,” he said, adding that the criticism caused Umno members to cast “sympathy votes” to Dr Mahathir.

  18. Annie, i just read Azrene and Fadley's exposes. fuyooh! i have heard of Si Polan's "activities" before but all secondhand. This was first hand! Feel real sorry for the young couple and inlaws.

Anyway, I used to be strong BN supporter but voted first time for PH because of Jibby and UMNO dedak-eaters, MCA taufoo and MIC bodekkers. Also I have deepest respect for TUN M and how they treated him disgusted and angered me. BTW, apparently TV3 and local media still haven't bertaubat. Still carrying on usual. I thought maybe they were acting under instructions of Jibby but it appears they really do support their pro-BN views. Ok la up to them.

Anyway, I was so so happy watching TUN M swear in yesterday and the crowds of delirious supporters outside palace. I felt like the ending scenes in Star Wars where the resistance celebrates or in Lord of the Rings when everyone cheers.

BTW, your "good friend" Fat Soh...how ah?"

You should blog on what KJ is up to.

So far 6 states' Umno Youth have called for Jibby to resign.

There was a big fight just now at PWTC between one of KJ's batu api and the so-called "loyalists".

How can KJ jump queue like that?

He seems to be gunning for the Presidency of Umno.

But must be sidekick first lah...tak kan he can overstep Hisham and Zahid.

Also, if Jibby is going to run away I think Hisham's chances are much, much less to be President.
