Remembrance and Umno now

Had a farewell lunch with an old friend yesterday.

We were part of the team which prepared the defence of Johor in the run up to the last general election in 2013.

My friend worked the hardest in the team and made the biggest sacrifices.

I respect and admire him for it

He called me right away in the morning after reading my last post in which I said I'm going back to Johor.

During lunch I explained to him in greater details why I needed to relocate back to JB.

I also explained why I am not defending Umno anymore.

I can sense that my friend was sad about me not defending Umno anymore but he said he understood why I made such a decision.

My friend loves Umno  perhaps a million times more than me.

He spend his entire life with Umno and basically dedicated it to the party.

But he is now totally out of politics.

He hardly even goes back to Johor anymore.

The powers that be has made it clear that he's not wanted in the state anymore.

But still he said he was worried about Umno and the state of the country all the time.

His was the classic case of most of my friends who were in my team which defended Johor in 2013.

We did our best but once our works were done, we were cast out.

We still love Umno but the people in control of the party had made it clear that they don't want us anymore.

The manner of our departures were actually rather sad.

For instance, I got another friend who worked in Kota Iskandar who was literally escorted out of the building after it was made clear that she was not wanted anymore by the new administration.

That friend of mine played a crucial role in intelligence gathering to ensure Johor BN's resources were properly distributed on the ground to counter the opposition, especially DAP.

She's very good at what she does and no one could have done what she did for Johor Umno and BN at that time.

What a waste of talent.

But that's how the current Umno works.

The way I see it, they don't care about loyalty, hard work, intelligence and sincerity of those who put their best effort for agama, bangsa and tanah air.

Now it's a case of if you disagree with the boss or refuse to kiss his ass, you are out.

Either you are with us or against us.

They prefer even mercenaries whom they can control to do what they want, even if it actually damaged the party.

In the case of my Johor team, they were not even against the boss, yet still they were out.

You can read my ranting on it at this old post of mine,

The eradication of Datuk Ghani

I also had dinner with another member of my former Johor team last night who wanted to say goodbye.

The guy whom I consider the captain of my team is also out of politics for good.

He is perhaps the best political strategist that I have ever known.

Another good, sincere and honest person lost to Umno.

We talked about the good old days when we worked together to defend Johor.

We have no regret though.

It was a tough fight and our sacrifices were not appreciated, but we agreed that the effort we put in it was worthwhile.

"We should be glad that our conscience is clear.  It was the right thing to that time," he said.

He noted that I was actually the last one in the team who was still actively defending Umno via this blog.

The rest have moved on with their life.

Now, I'm also out of it.

As I previously wrote, I don't want to be in the new Umno order of "either you are with us or against us".

Since I'm not "with us", then for them I must be "against us".

There are already people labeling me as "protun" who must be destroyed, even though I had not written a single word calling for the resignation of PM DS Najib Razak.

I suspect I became "protun" because I always described Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as "a handsome old man" and defended the elderly statesman whenever he came under attacks because I don't want the divide in Umno to worsen.

Apparently, for that, I must be eradicated.

So, before they kick me out, I better jump off on my own and save them the trouble.

My last contribution to Umno.

Guess  that's how things end for people who support Umno nowadays.

Anyway, to be honest, I'm already tired of writing all these heavy duty political stuff.

It's not fun anymore anyway.

I have seen all those nice blogs about fashion, music, movies and even how to do a bit of farming in the compound of terrace houses and I think the bloggers who operate them are much happier than sopo bloggers.

I think they are also nicer people.

Not much aggravation for them.

I planned to be something like them at my new place in JB later.

I may not be able to avoid politics 100 per cent because everything in this country is related to it, but I will try my best to keep it at a minimum.

By the way, my friend who had dinner with me asked what would I do if BN lose the next general election.

I told him "I'll adjust...if that's fated by Allah".

I think I had done all I can.

Driving down to JB later this evening.

  1. Goodluck Annie and you are always Welcome here(Jakarta)should you need a break.

    1. Golf playing Taliban8 January 2016 at 23:40

And all these while I thought that I was defending UMNO. You could have fool me. Your friend Ghani lost to Kit Siang..muahaha. this shows you dont understand chinese. Ghani was loved by the chinese. He was a gentleman..the chinese said. In other words he was corrupt the chinese gain a lot under him. He is just like kampung malays like Muhyidin, KJ,Ahmad Maslan, Mahathir etc praising the chines haha. As if Chinese need their praise. Tak sedar diri. The chines came to make money and now they have citizenship they want political control. And make malaya a satellite of cina, one day god willing.
At his beight of orang tua tak sedar diri,Mahathir even praise the chinese saying they pay most tax. Forgetting this is Malay land and UMNO !was formed to create a great Malay state..see what umno get for appointing an indian man? And Petronas was paying billions of tax and chinese stole trillions in oil subsidies under his 22 years. So yes we do things for our own sake. Now the fight is to get G25 to lead umno and rid of the false prophet dusuki and golf playing talkban jamil out of umno.
They are the new breed of thieves while pretending to be the voices of islam. That should be PAS job.

    2. As for Najib he is just in it for the money. You and I who think we are fighting for the Malay Federation through UMNO must realise that UMNO Majlis Tertinggi has been compromised. Obviously by Indians since that Indian was given power. Appointing an indian Ali Abul as Bnm Governor caught with 500k in his drawer by bpr was sign of more to come. The thieves become more daring as the Malaya thought UMNO President must be doing things in their interest. But the theft of BERNAS by benggali Syed Mokhtar raised no noise?!!! Are you all dumb? But they use ondian controlled Kalimullah and Utusan to claim this Benggali was arab from Yemen etc. And he stole more snd more nder Mahathir.Ports DRB etc all stolen by Mahathir.
When Bung Mokhtar asked why every Malay assets are given to one person, he received a call. Better dont ask lah kasan or something to that effect. As a reward he was appointed a plum post and his not heard anymore. The crook did this to Muhyidin too, he received a call, Tan Sri tak payahlah cakap banyak pasal rompakan 1MDB... and the rest was given posts to silence them.. Tangan Ghaib has been stealing from the Malays UMNO members are none the wiser..
This was continued by Deepak, Aziz no spm indian as malay haj fund chairman! Najib is happy as long money rolled in. They crooks have thought out everything. Sell free Malay land to tabung haji for 200 million, give yayasan 1mdb 2 millíon to take a few malays for haji.. It so transparent but did you realized this untill I spell it out? 1MDB is just plain theft and Ling Liong Sik have said. Najib is a thief. BUT, BUT Najib is not alone...They are all a bunch of thieves... Indian like Kekanda smile through his already in the pocket he is paid to protct the goodies..hehe

    3. Balls for trying to laugh at Ghani losing to Kitty Siang the Maha Chauvinist and Racist after the Little Emperor Kuang Yew left the scene.

You Taliban also got cheated and won over by the DAP hate-and-hate propaganda that produced the Chinese tsunami that knocked Najib's head in shock at PRU13.

    4. Bigger balls for saying "kampung malays like Muhyidin, KJ,Ahmad Maslan, Mahathir etc praising the chines." You have not an iota of respect for people who showed some respect for the Chinese. Wghat are you? An animal?

And saying "The chines came to make money .. have citizenship .. want political control. And make malaya a satellite of cina, one day god willing."

God willing? What God you pray to? So called Demi-God Tokong Lim who has now been called Tongkang Lim?

    5. Woi DAP bugger masquerading as a Golf Playing Taliban,

you call Tun Dr Mahathir "an Indian man"? Have you read this c & p?

You people keep making fun of the Malays, mamaks, etc, what about you Chinese? What's the equivalent to call you all also having mixed blood? Now, now, don't say you people are pure Chinese.

Here is what Professor C.P. Fitzgerald says in his book, "A Short Cultural History of China" (600+ pages) - he lived in China for 5 years to research and gather material for that book:

The phrase "origin of the Chinese people" is in itself misleading.

      1. Chinese culture took root in the plains of Manchuria, a foreign country until after World War II

      2. The northern provinces have always to some degree been mixed with "peoples from the Mongolian steppes"

      3. The southern and central provinces of China were, before the northerners moved southwards, "covered" by non-Chinese, the Miao, small in size and who the Chinese were contemptuous of.

      4. The south was originally occupied by "aboriginal tribes". The ancestors of most of the migrants to Malaya/ sia came from the south. The Professor said, "A large proportion of the population of the south calling itself 'Chinese' is in fact descended from one or other of the aboriginal races" - page 6. Many living in the interior, in the hills and the highlands. Even in modern times, in Yunnan and Kueichou, tribesmen number half the population.

The southerners comprise the following major groups:

      a. Fukienese, "a separate stock, mixed with immigrants from the north and the Yangtze Valley" and speaking "a peculiar dialect".

      b. Cantonese, also speak a somewhat alien language, a form of old Chinese - the south was colonized by the northerners, colonization completed in the 7th Century - some 800 years after China was formed as a political entity by Chin Shih Huang Di.

      c. Hakkas, of Kuantung province, known as "guest families" - they speak a peculiar dialect, despised by the Cantonese and do not inter marry. These people were said to have come from the north, running away from frequent Mongol invasions that culminated in the conquest of China by Genghis Khan in the 13th Century.

So, if any of you are referred to as descendants of the Miao (who are aborigines and non-Chinese), or other aborigines of south China, don't blame me, I'm just a messenger of the news. You can't also blame Professor Fitzgerald any more because he died some years ago.

    6. The Tangan Ghaib bloke is the same as the Playing Golf Taliban bugger. He has no sense of decency, no shame whatever, no fear of being detected as the same bastard using two different names to submit comments using the same English style etc within 20 minutes of each other at around mid-nite, presumably in his drunken stupor.

Calling Syed Mokhtar Benggali without any justification or explanation, he must be drunk.

Who would believe whatever he said in those circumstances.

      Let blinking dogs lie.

    7. There are 1-2 points of interest in what the Taliban and the Dirty Hands or Mouth bugger said. But because to him everything is wrong and nothing is right, all what he said becomes shit and nothing else.

    8. "When Bung Mokhtar asked why every Malay assets are given to one person, he received a call. Better dont ask lah kasan or something to that effect."

Kasan? Is that a Malay word or what? That's a strong indicator you are non-Malay, eh?

    9. Sure the masquerading-Taliban talibarut is non-Malay - saying "get G25 to lead umno", he has no clue about politics except the kind played on the golf course.

And like the US Presidential candidate Donald Trump kind of golf course in Scotland, which may be abandoned together with others of his investments because he talked cock about Britain and the Muslims and got threatened to be banned from the UK by British PM David Cameron.

G25 to lead UMNO, what utter rubbish.

  2. Annie,
It's nothing we can do,umno had been damage badly by najib raputation and idiot consultant around him, well whatever its after this we will be facing a new political challenges which base on "survival for fittest" in the new political scenario. So Annie be strong, you will be better after this, take care bye.

    1. There are lots of things we can do, not nothing. Verbally whacking those who damage UMNO's interests is certainly one thing we can continue to do.

  3. Welcome home dear! May God be pleased with our sacrifices.

  4. Me to more UMNO as long as najib is around. UMNO now stands for Untuk Mohd Najib Only...not for malays...not for our struggle.

    1. It'd be positive thinking to keep calling for his replacement. Even if it appears negative at times. After doing so, we pray. God works in mysterious ways sometimes.

    2. how dare you insult son of 2nd pm!

  6. Replies
    1. Fuck yourself, Anon 16:29.

Inilah jenis manusia yang menyokong PM Najib. Patut pun Annie sudah tawar-hati.

    2. The spelling is kfcu, dirty dyslexic!

    3. Najib still the best. Dengan Najib nasib dan martabat Melayu terbela. Hidup Najib.

    4. You must be helen ang i guess. Charming woman.

Annie, can get why you are frustrated but the fact is that 'either you're with us...' is a cheap line used by desperate people under siege. They need to lash out.

All the best with everything and when you are ready maybe you'll come to political writing. But if not, it's ok as well, though we'll miss your balanced and fair writing.

      Stay happy!

    5. anon 21:45, kamu tercela dan mencelakakan kita

    6. 2145,

You have any idea of what martabat is? You think of it as murtabak?

Utter nonsesne to say Najib has been concerned about martabat Melayu like Tun Dr Mahathir has been for ages.

Bukan sahaja sebagai Presiden tetapi King Of Cash.

    1. Pandei punya olang atak cekap ,'buat baik berpada-pada ,buat jahat jangan sekali'.

'Olang bebudi ,kita berbahasa' ,Wa ingat sikalang punya UMNO sutak tatak Bulayu lagi maa aa .

Sutak hilang itu Bulayu punya touch maa aa .

    2. Kita perlu minta penerangan berkenaan Cash Is King and the RM2.6 billion.

Peguam Negara kata dia akan memikirkan sapenuh nya laporan yang di majukan kapada nya oleh SPRM berkenaan "SRC International Sdn Bhd and a RM2.6-billion political donation".

Kita harap dia buat demikian sesungguh nya.

  8. Annie, UMNO is doomed! No more glory. Yg tinggal sekarang hanya lah pelingkup pelingkup sahaja. The show is coming to an end!

    1. That's your perception. Many others don't perceive it that way.

Nothing is certain.

  9. Way to go, Annie! Welcome back to JB. You can always do a quick hop over to Singapore if you are feeling bored in JB. With a Madonna concert coming up soon and Victoria's Secret setting up shop in Singapore, there's never a dull moment in the little red dot!

  10. As long as najib and current geniuses in cabinet stay on, I ain't voting BN. Just stay home and hoard food. Bcos BN will lose. And najib will do anything to stay in power.
    Malaysia...oh tanah air ku...

    1. Current geniuses? .... muahahahaha! Power crazed loonies? Hahahaha

    2. It's be better to keep on asking UMNO to replace the source of the "BN will lose" thingy than stay at home, hoard food and sigh.

  11. Ko ni kan annie banyak emo lah. Boleh pegi daa.

Ramai lagi wira2 cyber yg lebih handal mcm RPK, Rocky, Jai, LimSianSee, SeaDemon, Azmi Arshd (kat FB), Helen Ang...

Keturunan Raja, katakan.

    2. Ahh...saya lupa.

Sehebat mana pun bloga UMNO, bukan senang nak defend 'the undefensible'.

1MDB pun susah nak defend kerana modal businessnya, BERHUTANG.

Tahap macai.

    4. "Ramai lagi wira2 cyber yg lebih handal mcm RPK, Rocky, Jai, LimSianSee, SeaDemon, Azmi Arshd (kat FB), Helen Ang..."

      HA HA HA!

Patut ler, Si Pok Jib tu dah nak hanco x lama lagi...tkase Kak Helen, "you are with us or...."

      Tapi nobody with you....

    6. RD,

Saya ingin nak tahu pendapat Sdr apa tujuan sabenar Ah Jib Gor tubuhkan 1MDB.

Akan berterima kasih kalau boleh kasi tau. Pendapat Sdr di atas tu menarik.

Masuk angin, keluar asap.

Everywhere in the world, A sovereign investment fund is an investment fund created or controlled by a government, usually of a country with trade surpluses and abundant foreign monetary reserves.

  12. Btw annie,

How long do you think bloggers pemakan dedak like rockybru, bujai, a voice, big dog and the 'other lady' will continue defending ajibgor?

The articles they wrote in defending ajibgor makes me cringe. Imagine the rocky fella promoting ajibgor as 'man of the year 2015'? What a load of rubbish!!

    Pak Belalang

    1. ' Man of the year 2015' Sdr Pak Belalang?
That mans both genius and self-destructive(?) as he faces the final curtain :

" To say the things he truly feels
and not the words of one who kneels.

      and did it my way"

  13. They may say those not with them are against them. But they must not be allowed to cow down others into submission to them by their rude and crude means. Especially by using the "hidden hands".

They must be whacked and wanked continuously. UMNO and BN must be defended and promoted, otherwise the hideous opposition comes in. They are simply not an alternative and must not be allowed to reach Putrajaya by default.

The fault dear people lies not in the stars but in ourselves that we are underlings. We need to do things to ensure a better future. Keep asking for Najib to be replaced by UMNO for the sake of UMNO's and BN's future.

    1. umno to be replace by ph too

    2. I think PR or PH is worst than BN.
Just look at PAN. A rookie party, untested in any election to gauge Rakyat's acceptance and made-up of rejected individuals in Party's election. They are down-right, 'katak lompat', hijacked the trust or amanah given by PAS to contest last GE. Yet shamelessly, they use 'Amanah' as the name of their new Party. Surely their main priority is power & wealth.
The most disgusting fact is that, those greedy scum in PAN have made a pact with DAP and PKR, both practicing nepotism to the hilt.
Please note that, Nepotism is fertile breeding grounds for Cronyism.

  14. Good morning Annie. Firstly, I had strong suspicions that you were Bigcat. Next, from all that you have recently posted, the feeling os mutual. As hardcore supporters of BN, unless the impossible happens, BN can say goodbye as the federal ruling party in the next GE..IF and when it is called. A very big IF. Take care and all rhe very best to you and all your readers.

    1. That's a big statement "the federal ruling party in the next GE..IF and when it is called. A very big IF."

Wd u like to clarify or justify that? Otherwise you sound a monger of some kind. And the simply insinuating kind of mongers are not welcome here, I don't think.

    2. Big Cat is Ai.. Annie could be Aini...
      Aini ..Aini..wo ai ter ni...
      Aini ..Aini.. cia na li..

    3. Me too. Ive always thought annie and the cat are one and same person. How they think, how they write... ada persamaan.
But no matter. As i like reading both. Annie/cat tulis senang baca, mudah faham. No big words nak show off. (Think bigdog woof woof!)
Or make a posting, write a few lines then provide links and ask us what we think. I call that lazy.
      Cheers Annie

  16. It is a new team now, that we have to accept. The last time we had a change in leadership in umno Johor was aeons ago and we had forgotten how it felt. Every leader will have team that he trust and knows how to work with. It happens in every organisation. Move on

    1. Previous leadership changes before Ah Jib Gor's time did not produce tsunami in the country and near tsunami in Johor.

How to say "team that he trust and knows how to work with"? What you want to Move IT" Shi.?

  17. I think the majority of BN supporters who are non-UMNO members are so fed up with Najib (and UMNO) that we are willing to go ABU this coming PRU14 if Najib and his thieving clowns are still at the helm come election day.

The only way for BN to win is if PR stupid enough to bring Anwar back as PM if PR wins. No sane Malaysians want a corrupt dirty old man sodomite to lead the country. So PR please be mindful of who your PM-in-waiting candidate come PRU14.

    1. Bloody good comment, Sir.

      More please.

    2. Except going ABU, the rest is ok.

    3. Azmin Ali for PM?

  18. UMNO supporters need not belong to any group. That'd deny anyone wanting to or feeling being thrown out.

Just go on prodding, trampling and dugong-ing (whacking the huge but stupid monster fish) in the interest of UMNO the party, not Najib the leader who should be replaced.

  19. Read some of your not so nice blogs questioning the loyalty of your fellow Malaysians, especially the Chinese. I think this is a case of what goes around and comes around. Your loyalty to whom your would swear to die for was in-turn questioned just because you questioned. How does it feel?
Hope you now understand that loyalty is not blind faith but rightful criticism and the sincere heart to want the country to be better for every citizen who chooses to live here.

    1. Those who choose to live here must respect the Constitution of the country fully, including the sensitive Articles that are protected by the Sedition Act.

You may be critical of based on the other Articles of the Constitution but those sensitive ones are a no no. Those include your citizenship right, and it's quid pro quo, the Special Position of the Malays and the Bumiputeras of Sabah and Sarawak.

    2. You are taking it to the extreme and assume everything that non-malays citizens questioned is threatening your special position and so on. In fact, 99% of the questioned raised had nothing to do with your special positions, mostly are just plain common sense and wanting the country to be better. However, most have the very feudal mindset that since you are having the special positions, hence superior on this land and whatever that you do cannot be questioned by other lowly citizens, no matter what they are, rightly or wrongly. Even a suspected thief can be turned into a hero. If this is the special positions and values that you want to incalcate, fine, have it!

  20. "..if that's fated by Allah"

Annie my dear you said the right thing. Everything depends on Allah. he already know the outcome of GE14. No point worrying too much. Just follow your conscience, do the right thing and leave everything else to Allah.
