Remembrance and Umno now

Had a farewell lunch with an old friend yesterday.

We were part of the team which prepared the defence of Johor in the run up to the last general election in 2013.

My friend worked the hardest in the team and made the biggest sacrifices.

I respect and admire him for it

He called me right away in the morning after reading my last post in which I said I'm going back to Johor.

During lunch I explained to him in greater details why I needed to relocate back to JB.

I also explained why I am not defending Umno anymore.

I can sense that my friend was sad about me not defending Umno anymore but he said he understood why I made such a decision.

My friend loves Umno  perhaps a million times more than me.

He spend his entire life with Umno and basically dedicated it to the party.

But he is now totally out of politics.

He hardly even goes back to Johor anymore.

The powers that be has made it clear that he's not wanted in the state anymore.

But still he said he was worried about Umno and the state of the country all the time.

His was the classic case of most of my friends who were in my team which defended Johor in 2013.

We did our best but once our works were done, we were cast out.

We still love Umno but the people in control of the party had made it clear that they don't want us anymore.

The manner of our departures were actually rather sad.

For instance, I got another friend who worked in Kota Iskandar who was literally escorted out of the building after it was made clear that she was not wanted anymore by the new administration.

That friend of mine played a crucial role in intelligence gathering to ensure Johor BN's resources were properly distributed on the ground to counter the opposition, especially DAP.

She's very good at what she does and no one could have done what she did for Johor Umno and BN at that time.

What a waste of talent.

But that's how the current Umno works.

The way I see it, they don't care about loyalty, hard work, intelligence and sincerity of those who put their best effort for agama, bangsa and tanah air.

Now it's a case of if you disagree with the boss or refuse to kiss his ass, you are out.

Either you are with us or against us.

They prefer even mercenaries whom they can control to do what they want, even if it actually damaged the party.

In the case of my Johor team, they were not even against the boss, yet still they were out.

You can read my ranting on it at this old post of mine,

The eradication of Datuk Ghani

I also had dinner with another member of my former Johor team last night who wanted to say goodbye.

The guy whom I consider the captain of my team is also out of politics for good.

He is perhaps the best political strategist that I have ever known.

Another good, sincere and honest person lost to Umno.

We talked about the good old days when we worked together to defend Johor.

We have no regret though.

It was a tough fight and our sacrifices were not appreciated, but we agreed that the effort we put in it was worthwhile.

"We should be glad that our conscience is clear.  It was the right thing to do....at that time," he said.

He noted that I was actually the last one in the team who was still actively defending Umno via this blog.

The rest have moved on with their life.

Now, I'm also out of it.

As I previously wrote, I don't want to be in the new Umno order of "either you are with us or against us".

Since I'm not "with us", then for them I must be "against us".

There are already people labeling me as "protun" who must be destroyed, even though I had not written a single word calling for the resignation of PM DS Najib Razak.

I suspect I became "protun" because I always described Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as "a handsome old man" and defended the elderly statesman whenever he came under attacks because I don't want the divide in Umno to worsen.

Apparently, for that, I must be eradicated.

So, before they kick me out, I better jump off on my own and save them the trouble.

My last contribution to Umno.

Guess  that's how things end for people who support Umno nowadays.

Anyway, to be honest, I'm already tired of writing all these heavy duty political stuff.

It's not fun anymore anyway.

I have seen all those nice blogs about fashion, music, movies and even how to do a bit of farming in the compound of terrace houses and I think the bloggers who operate them are much happier than sopo bloggers.

I think they are also nicer people.

Not much aggravation for them.

I planned to be something like them at my new place in JB later.

I may not be able to avoid politics 100 per cent because everything in this country is related to it, but I will try my best to keep it at a minimum.

By the way, my friend who had dinner with me asked what would I do if BN lose the next general election.

I told him "I'll adjust...if that's fated by Allah".

I think I had done all I can.

Driving down to JB later this evening.

And all these while I thought that I was defending UMNO. You could have fool me. Your friend Ghani lost to Kit Siang..muahaha. this shows you dont understand chinese. Ghani was loved by the chinese. He was a gentleman..the chinese said. In other words he was corrupt the chinese gain a lot under him. He is just like kampung malays like Muhyidin, KJ,Ahmad Maslan, Mahathir etc praising the chines haha. As if Chinese need their praise. Tak sedar diri. The chines came to make money and now they have citizenship they want political control. And make malaya a satellite of cina, one day god willing.
At his beight of orang tua tak sedar diri,Mahathir even praise the chinese saying they pay most tax. Forgetting this is Malay land and UMNO !was formed to create a great Malay state..see what umno get for appointing an indian man? And Petronas was paying billions of tax and chinese stole trillions in oil subsidies under his 22 years. So yes we do things for our own sake. Now the fight is to get G25 to lead umno and rid of the false prophet dusuki and golf playing talkban jamil out of umno.
They are the new breed of thieves while pretending to be the voices of islam. That should be PAS job.

    2. As for Najib he is just in it for the money. You and I who think we are fighting for the Malay Federation through UMNO must realise that UMNO Majlis Tertinggi has been compromised. Obviously by Indians since that Indian was given power. Appointing an indian Ali Abul as Bnm Governor caught with 500k in his drawer by bpr was sign of more to come. The thieves become more daring as the Malaya thought UMNO President must be doing things in their interest. But the theft of BERNAS by benggali Syed Mokhtar raised no noise?!!! Are you all dumb? But they use ondian controlled Kalimullah and Utusan to claim this Benggali was arab from Yemen etc. And he stole more snd more nder Mahathir.Ports DRB etc all stolen by Mahathir.
When Bung Mokhtar asked why every Malay assets are given to one person, he received a call. Better dont ask lah kasan or something to that effect. As a reward he was appointed a plum post and his not heard anymore. The crook did this to Muhyidin too, he received a call, Tan Sri tak payahlah cakap banyak pasal rompakan 1MDB... and the rest was given posts to silence them.. Tangan Ghaib has been stealing from the Malays UMNO members are none the wiser..
This was continued by Deepak, Aziz no spm indian as malay haj fund chairman! Najib is happy as long money rolled in. They crooks have thought out everything. Sell free Malay land to tabung haji for 200 million, give yayasan 1mdb 2 millíon to take a few malays for haji.. It so transparent but did you realized this untill I spell it out? 1MDB is just plain theft and Ling Liong Sik have said. Najib is a thief. BUT, BUT Najib is not alone...They are all a bunch of thieves... Indian like Kekanda smile through his teeth...money already in the pocket he is paid to protct the goodies..hehe

    5. Woi DAP bugger masquerading as a Golf Playing Taliban,

you call Tun Dr Mahathir "an Indian man"? Have you read this c & p?

You people keep making fun of the Malays, mamaks, etc, what about you Chinese? What's the equivalent to call you all also having mixed blood? Now, now, don't say you people are pure Chinese.

Here is what Professor C.P. Fitzgerald says in his book, "A Short Cultural History of China" (600+ pages) - he lived in China for 5 years to research and gather material for that book:

The phrase "origin of the Chinese people" is in itself misleading.

      1. Chinese culture took root in the plains of Manchuria, a foreign country until after World War II

      2. The northern provinces have always to some degree been mixed with "peoples from the Mongolian steppes"

      3. The southern and central provinces of China were, before the northerners moved southwards, "covered" by non-Chinese, the Miao, small in size and who the Chinese were contemptuous of.

      4. The south was originally occupied by "aboriginal tribes". The ancestors of most of the migrants to Malaya/ sia came from the south. The Professor said, "A large proportion of the population of the south calling itself 'Chinese' is in fact descended from one or other of the aboriginal races" - page 6. Many living in the interior, in the hills and the highlands. Even in modern times, in Yunnan and Kueichou, tribesmen number half the population.

The southerners comprise the following major groups:

      a. Fukienese, "a separate stock, mixed with immigrants from the north and the Yangtze Valley" and speaking "a peculiar dialect".

      b. Cantonese, also speak a somewhat alien language, a form of old Chinese - the south was colonized by the northerners, colonization completed in the 7th Century - some 800 years after China was formed as a political entity by Chin Shih Huang Di.

      c. Hakkas, of Kuantung province, known as "guest families" - they speak a peculiar dialect, despised by the Cantonese and do not inter marry. These people were said to have come from the north, running away from frequent Mongol invasions that culminated in the conquest of China by Genghis Khan in the 13th Century.

So, if any of you are referred to as descendants of the Miao (who are aborigines and non-Chinese), or other aborigines of south China, don't blame me, I'm just a messenger of the news. You can't also blame Professor Fitzgerald any more because he died some years ago.

He has no sense of decency, no shame whatever, no fear of being detected as the same bastard using two different names to submit comments using the same English style etc within 20 minutes of each other at around mid-nite, presumably in his drunken stupor.

Kesilapan paling besar adalah 1MDB dan WANG dalam akaun peribadi, diri-sendiri dan isteri.

1MDB pun susah nak defend kerana modal businessnya, BERHUTANG.

Masuk angin, keluar asap.

Everywhere in the world, A sovereign investment fund is an investment fund created or controlled by a government, usually of a country with trade surpluses and abundant foreign monetary reserves.

Tapi 1MDB berHUTANG dan kelepet 'harta-pusaka' Rakyat sebagai 'asset'.

    2. You are taking it to the extreme and assume everything that non-malays citizens questioned is threatening your special position and so on. In fact, 99% of the questioned raised had nothing to do with your special positions, mostly are just plain common sense and wanting the country to be better. However, most have the very feudal mindset that since you are having the special positions, hence superior on this land and whatever that you do cannot be questioned by other lowly citizens, no matter what they are, rightly or wrongly. Even a suspected thief can be turned into a hero. If this is the special positions and values that you want to incalcate, fine, have it!
