Democratic rights to be racists

I'm at the moment sitting in the office doing nothing in particular.

Just finished my works for the day.

I actually like working on Saturday as most people are off for the day. It's more peaceful in the office.

Nothing of importance on the political front which I could write today except PKR having some problem in Sabah as Wilfred Bumburing and his gang had made it clear that they are quitting the opposition coalition to set up their own indigenous party.

They gave all sorts of noble excuses for wanting to do so.

Actually, I think it's more because they are not happy that Lajim Ukin and gang are gaining the upper hand in the jostling for top posts in the Sabah's opposition.

But all these are kinda boring and pointless. As most know, in Sabah, they switch sides like nobody's business and people like Wilfred Bumburing and Lajim Ukin are dime a dozen there.

I'm quite sure they will switch side again before anyone realizes what's going on with them.

Okay, on to more interesting stuff.

I received this text message just now from a lady whom I know have never been a racist all her life....well, until recently, that is....

"Dh lh tngh sakit hati dgn cina. Tadi masa gi petronas, ramai lh queue kt every pump. Myvi cina ni tngh isi minyak, using credit card & full tank kot. Lama lh juga. Dia gi borak dgn org kt kereta pump sblh. Anak nya dok panggil dia sbb dh full kot. Dgn selamba je dia gi ke kereta, x rushing even tho kita dok tunggu kt blkg. Lps tu dia drive ke dpn sikit je then stop. X lps lh tank kita nak isi minyak. Sampai bangla kt petrol pump tu suruh dia park kt tempt yg sepatutnya. Lps tu nmpk dia drive then park ikut suka dia, susah kn org lain pulak. Ni lh chinese lady yg x sepatutnya dok kt sini."

I believe the lady took the trouble to compose the rather lengthy text message and send it to me just to express her frustration at the selfish behavior of the other woman.

However, before GE13, I don't think she would had stressed the ethnicity of the offending woman.

I guess everyone is becoming a bit more racist these days and there's nothing much that can be done about it.

But I don't think we should worry too much over it.

The lady is after all just exercising her democratic rights to be a little bit racist....yes, being racist is also part of individual's democratic rights....just like when the Chinese were practicing their democratic rights to vote en-bloc for DAP in GE13.

So, it's okay.

If you Chinese don't like me because I'm Malay, well, then I don't like you too because you are Chinese.

Fair and square...isn't it?

What? Chinese are not racist at all? They are always fair to Malays? They see Malays as their equals? They do not vote along racial line?

Eh....don't make me laugh lah.....

Okay...not everyone are like that, but the majority do....never mind, it's also going to be the same on the other side after this....

The point of this posting? Well, no point actually. I'm just letting off steam.

Here is a bit of nice music to neutralize whatever toxic stuff above,

It's wrong to say "tak habis-habis Annie bertabur kebencian". The correct word is, "tak habis-habis Annie menabur kebencian". Try to improve your bahasa kebangsaan, ok?

.. memang pun and WHY NOT? Before this semua UMNO-Malay punya salah. Tayar pancit pun UMNO or Polis or Army punya salah.

.. typical Cina, dia org buat boleh.. "it is our right!", bila Melayu buat "Melayu rasis!". Guess what? We don't care anymore. You can be racists, so can we. Tough luck!

.. the more you idolise DAP and the Lim family dynasty, the more most Melayu will shun you. Soon, Melayu will not see Cina as a person anymore but a reflection of LGE and LKS.

  7. The seen at that petrol kiosk is quite common and if you are unlucky you might stumble into one not only at petrol kiosk.
The Chinese claim that they are the major contributor to the national income ,so they deserved the best as they pleased where others must wait at their pleasure .
The Malays must learn to be calm for their pleasure just like the Malay treated the British at one time not to long a go.

  8. The Chinese in Malaysia are now in a bind and tight corner. All because their true colours and intention have been exposed through GE13. Previously, they kept their hatred and dislike of the Malays close to their chest. Their actions were always guarded, the opposition against the Malays and every Malay-dominated institution such as the civil service, police, MACC etc were always subtle and inconspicuous. But convinced of a total victory in GE13, they laid down all their cards on the table, only to be caught with their pants down. The mask concealing their ill-intention has been taken away. Now they recoiled from the backlash of their action. They have been racist all this while and it is pay back time now.

  9. RPK's 1Malayia UK Style (extracted from Malaysia-Today)

And what is my message in this article today? I suppose the message I am trying to deliver is that here in the UK we are not Malays, Chinese or Indians. Here in the UK we are just plain Malaysians. And we help each other where and when we can. And I admit that what I am doing and the way I am doing it would not have been possible without the help of all these Chinese.

I have never done business in the UK. But all these Chinese who have been here for the last 20 years or so have, and they have all the right expertise, contacts and connections. And they have ‘transferred’ all this knowledge to me to help me achieve what I am trying to achieve.

I do not have the advantage of a Bumiputera status or the New Economic Policy here in the UK. But what I do have are many Chinese who have bent over backwards to help me. Some of these Chinese are Pakatan Rakyat supporters. Some are Barisan Nasional supporters. Some do not care two hoots about what is happening back in Malaysia. But as far as they are concerned I am a fellow-Malaysian and all they want to do is to see a fellow-Malaysian succeed in his endeavour.

I don’t know about Malaysia but here in the UK we certainly have 1Malaysia.

Oh, and another thing, some of the loans I raised are personal loans from these Chinese (plus an Indian) who have given me a one-year moratorium on the repayment with no interest charges whatsoever.

Do you really think I hate the Chinese, as some of you think?

They didn't patronize BP station too, since LTAT taking over BP and become BHP in fect the didn't patronize any Malay or government agency outlet though their kind may do the business there .
In JB you hardly see any Chinese patronizing Kota Raya or Plaza Angsana since it's opening.

      Melayu selalu tatak nampak.

  11. Aiyo...small wonder lah. The Chinese in the UK were thought very well by the Mat Salehs on how to be civilized. They will kowtow to this orang PUTIH bcos skin color is just so important to them. Only the Angmos know how to deal with this kind.Lets just say they got an education. While the Chinese in Msia is the TOTOK/KEK kind... jinjang fishing village bumpkin one, smelling of that nauseating incense/joss stick everywhere they go. Tokong at every nook and cranny. That tongsang trait hard to go rid off. They have more respect really for people who know how to put them in their right place :)

  13. THINK. If as a result of our 'encouragement', more and more of the smarter cinas leave our tanah to cari makan luar Tanah Melayu...what will happen to the 'value' of our bumi status and other NEP benefits?

Our rightful bumi discount for property purchase (eg in Johor, up to 15% discount for up to 40% of all developer properties sold - Annie, please confirm that bumi status is indeed that valuable in Johor; thinking of moving there!) is only valuable because there are the cinas to pay for the non-discounted price. So maybe our policy of 'encouragement' towards the cinas should be fine tuned.

Maybe if BN follows Johor nationwide as above said, Malays will then unite and win back the Pakatan states! And think of it, why not go one step further and make the discount uniform at 20%?

  16. Annie, I hope you give up your Cina boyfriend. Pretty hypocritical to hate the Chinese when your own Mother is one of them and you are dating another. Do you see them only by their race or individual people? I try to see others as people and not distinguish by race. Yes, we can be peeved by their actions but I have seen a lot of rude people from ALL races. Malays don't know how to line up either. In KLCC, a mak cik (in tudung) just barge to the head of the line in the toilet area without consideration for others already in the line; Chinese, Indians, Malays and Others are ALL terrible drivers behind the wheel as they tend to be selfish and not give way, etc. I hated living in a new development which had a number of kampung Malays who just threw their unfinished food in the drains.

I think if you are a bit more logical you will find that every race has their share of good and bad people. It is your democratic right to be racists, just like it was the Chinese democratic right to vote for whomever they wanted to. Did they really give BN and Najib the impression that they supported him? I don't think so - The Chinese presence at many of the BN rallies was minimal in my constituency. BN should have got them message and stopped trying to bribe them in the fist place with dinners, Psy, etc. Najib was embarrassed, lah that his "I tolong u, u tolong gua" approach was rejected. Like all embarrassed people he quickly put the blame on others. I have never in my life seen a winning side (and BN did win the election) so bitter about winning
