SatD, Jebat, Tinsel and Ai

It was a pleasant surprise to see SatD writing again.

It's been months.

Here is his take on the 1MDB mess:

Just Units: Pre PAC Questions for Arul Kanda Kandasamy

I always admire SatD's detailed and superbly researched analysis.

The guy is brilliant.

But I have to read his analysis patiently and slowly.

Otherwise I would not be able to understand it.

The easier to read analysis should be by Jebat Must Die.

His latest was more or less on the same topic as SatD's;

Penyelewengan ketara 1MDB

The title of the post clearly indicates Jebat's stand on the issue.

He is still very much at rebellion despite what I think of the whole thing now being an already lost cause.

Jebat who normally writes in English has now switched to Bahasa Malaysia.

Probably he wanted the orang kampung to understand the 1MDB mess better....at least from his point of view.

Anyway, I had buka puasa at a cafe near my office with my old friend Aisya.

Aisya, also known as Ai used to operates the Big Cat blog.

She quit blogging when she went to study in Taiwan a few months before the last general election in 2013.

She passed the blog to our friend Tinsel.

Unlike Ai and me who now have our doubts, Tinsel remains a staunch supporter of PM DS Najib Razak.

This is her latest post,

Towards total collapse

Well, everyone is entitled to his/her opinion.

As for my buka puasa with Ai, it was just like any other dinner.

We talked a bit about the good old days when we "fought" in support of former Johor MB TS Abdul Ghani Othman.

Those were the days when we were so inspired by Ghani's sincere leadership that we went all out to help him.

Our conscience was clear at that time.

We were so sure that we were on the right side.

Ai however totally gave up politics after the Chinese tsunami of GE13.

She was in love with the Chinese and was so heart broken when they turned against the good Malay moderates like Ghani at the polls.

Anyway, Ai will be getting married after Hari Raya.

I don't really like her fiancé as he always treats her badly, but in all sincerity, I hope she will be happy.

Okay, that's all for tonight.

Good night.

    1. Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet: women and sons; hoards of gold and silver; horses branded (for lineage and quality); and farm animals and well-tilled lands. Such are the possessions of this worldly life; but near-ness to Allah is the best of aims.

Say: "Shall I give you good news of things far better than those? For the righteous are gardens in near-ness to their Lord, with rivers flowing beneath; therein is their eternal home with companions purified, and also the good pleasure of Allah. Within Allah's vision are all His servants.

Namely, those who say: "Our Lord! we have indeed believed: forgive us then, our sins, and save us from the agony of the Fire."

The patient ones, the true, the obedient, those who spend (in the way of Allah), and those who seek forgiveness before dawn.

  6. the Cat bloggers were strong but offended some powerful old time bloggers like Wenger and Brick. Then Ghani got whacked and in the end he lost in Johor.

  7. re , Unlike Ai and me who now have our doubt , Tinsel remain a staunch supporter of Najib Razak.

I believe we are not compering personality of good or bad ,which both have no doubt are good , and we are not compering who are the most hansom between the two .
Most Malays (except UMNO members) I presume are concern with Najib wrong doing which could resulted to end of Malay political dominance and influence which this is the only thing that Malay could still hold on to.

42 billion is just an issue ,what are the most concern are the way Najib, steer the country.

  9. The future of the Malay people is in the hands of the Malay people.

If they wish to continue to 'berjaya' in accordance to the trend since 1957, just elect to have more of the same.

Just note that when Singapore left Malaysia in 1965, 1 Sg $ = RM0.90.
It's now 1: 2.82. This trend will too continue.
