Damaged and facing a storm

Last day of the month.

This blog's pageviews count has reverted back to its normal of around 80k this month.

At the height of the Umno civil war which started in April, the number was around double of that.

On the surface, things are beginning to look normal again.

DS Najib Razak is still in charge and the rebels have very much scaled down their attacks.

Nonetheless, I think Umno is still far from being safe.

It's like the aftermath of a mutiny on a ship.

The fighting may had ceased, but the damage is extensive and not yet repaired.

The mutineers may not be attacking so much anymore but they are not surrendering either, let alone helping the captain and his loyalists to repair the ship which was heavily damaged during the fighting.

Some were even ready to go down to the bottom of the ocean with the ship rather than surrendering.

The captain's people are not helping with things either.

They keep telling the captain that they don't need the mutineers to repair the ship.

Instead of coaxing the mutineers to rejoin the crew, they want the captain to force them to walk the plank.

Their attitude is that the less number of crew onboard among them, the bigger their portion of treasure on the ship for each of them.

Meanwhile, a storm is gathering on the horizon.

The captain's loyalists continue to tell him that it's okay.

They said there's still plenty of time to repair the ship without the help of the mutineers before the storm hit them.

It's now for the captain to decide.

If I'm the captain, I would rather make peace with the mutineers.

Talk with them and get as many of them as possible to help save the ship.

After all, without the ship, everything will be lost.

  2. "After all, without the ship, everything will be lost."

What will happen next very much depended on these categories:

    A. "I have already received the share of the treasure long long time ago and I am now longing for more".

    B. "I still have to fight for my share of the treasure and will not stop fighting.

    C. "there is no way I will get any treasure but that won't stop me from doing my duty for free"

    D. "I have nothing to do with that problem, but I will still lend my hand"

    E. "I am just an outsider, if my service is needed, I don't mind helping those in troubles."

So among A-E, the question is: who prefers to see those problems to prolong further to the point of total break down. Who will get back the sane mind. And who will let fate to take its course. Only time will tell?

  3. Annie,

My last comment annie "Sayonara....hope we will be facing a new political dimension after PRU 14"

  4. This is what appear in OutSyedTheBox.

They dont care. Whether it is 30% Malay support. 5% Chinese support or 0% support they just dont care.

Their No. 1 concern now is how much money can they sapu between now and until they get kicked out? Itu saja. The stealing is going on everywhere, non stop.
The guys in charge of religion are stealing money.
The guys in charge of the anak yatim are stealing money.
The uniformed guys are stealing money.
Everyone is stealing money. Big time.

Hye might be exaggerating here and there, but in general that was observed by innocent bystanders.

Do you think this kind of organization will last long?

Ms Annie, netter save your sanity worrying something else that matter.

To me, persetan dengan UMNO. They are as good as yesterday's sinetron.

  5. If we change the captain now, the ship can still weather the storm, intact. Get the crooks accountable. Settle all debts and disband this f$$$ing 1MDB. With a new PM, (a dead-stump will do) the opposition would be short of critical political campaign issues during GE14.

If Najib is still PM, 1MDB alone would be enough to make BN's politician speechless or made them looks like a fool, if they open their mouth to defend it. 1MDB is indefensible. That's the way it is.

    Not to mention:-
    - Submarine deal/Razak Baginda/Altantuya/Sirul
    - Who is Jho Low to Najib's family. (Picture on a luxury Yacht)
    - Deepak Carpet & Interest free Bank Rakyat RM 30 million loan.
    - Najib's step son.
    - RM 20 million Ring.
    etc.

    1. The problem in UMNO goes deeper than just the Captain's great cabin. They might have to go down and sanitize several decks below too.

Not only Najib, but about 80% of his kitchen cabinet must also be fired.

  7. Annie orang johor.

  9. i wish people would stop assuming that people around najib work for him just so that they can have a piece of the pie. some of them just have a strong believe that he is a good man and is honestly workng for the benefit of the rakyat and country. among all the leaders that we have only he dare promise us that and we can see he is really trying. some people talk non stop as with the oppositions n tun m and the gang...but what we can see of najib is he is the one who is doing more work and talk less...he is reaching out to the rakyat that matters....forget about the losers in pakatan n tuns camp....they are just bitter coz najib is doing well and spreading all kinds of untruths and putting all blame to najib.of all the pm we had he is the only who has good rapport with the other world leaders. he doesnt like to fight unlike tun m. anyway...my support is with the less talk the more work gets done man.

  11. the capt'n has long decided.

" Some were even ready to go down to the bottom of the ocean with the ship rather than surrendering."

this is his stand, not his loyalist. hed rather go BN go down with him than step down.

the capt'n sure has it easy. annie can just about excuse him for everything and lay it all on his advisors/supporters.

pm need to learn accountability too.
