Well, at least the commentator didn't say he/she supports the terrorists.

I think he/she was just expressing his/her dislike of a country which used to bully others in the past.

Honestly, I don't like France too for what it did in the past.

But I do sympathise with victims of the terrorists and the loved ones of those who lost their life that night.

Nothing can justify the killing of innocent people.

By the way, I also don't like France because the first time my ex took his new girlfriend for a romantic holiday was to that country.

At that time, he was still with me, okay.

Real cheating bastard.

So, I'm allergic to France.

But that does not mean I support the murderous terrorists, okay.

Anyway, the only European country that I cheered for during the World Cup is Germany.

If France or England or Spain plays Germany, I definitely will cheer for Germany.

At least the Germans, whenever they feel like picking up a fight, will go for opponents of their own size.

They don't go around bullying small countries and aborigines like France, Britain, Spain and the others did.

Of course the Germans are a bit crazy.

Every time they were in the mood to fight, they go around and fight with everybody at the same time.

Of course they got clobbered in the end.

Nowadays the Germans just make nice cars and play good football.

And once in awhile, they drink lots and lots of beer and be merry.

Then there's the Asian version of Germany.

Japan.

My favorite.

The Japanese are in fact crazier than the Germans.

Despite them actually being just a bunch of cute people, they don't pick up fight with small countries or even countries of their own size.

Whenever they feel like fighting, they get themselves the biggest opponents around.

They fought United States, China, Russia and scores of others, all bigger than them, all at the same time.

Of course in the end they got totally trashed.

But I believe that if they were not that crazy, we, along with the other colonised Asian countries at that time would not be so inspired as to kick out our colonial masters.

Anyway, after being kicked the shit out of them, the Japanese become very peaceful people these days.

Not unlike the Germans, they also nowadays just make very good cars.

Oh, other than that, they also make some nice anime, very tacky teenage manga-based movies and weird porn videos.

No more crazy fighting.

They are still cute though.

Well, all these talks about being colonised and enslaved by the white men remind me of this opening of the Malcolm X movie,

  3. Modern-day colonisation?
The biggest TPPA fight is coming, adinda Ms Annie
and Americans(?) are apparent more scared than us.

US Senator Robert Menendez has tried hard to get Congress to leave us out accusing Malaysia of systematic human trafficking when his real agenda is Save-American-Jobs. So there is TPPA suspicion and fear all around but Malaysia is already a sizable trading nation and has in-sya-Allah big potential to invade(?) the Pacific.

Our opposition has been campaining hard to protect our sovereignty against the modern-day colonization by big big US Corporations who would be legal equals who can sue nations.

    2. To the 09.43 dickhead.

Nowhere did the Anon 00.15 made any mention ov ANY religion in his/her posting.

What was mentioned was the way France behaved as a nation in the past and present.

And the victims were mainly coloured people of various religions all around the globe.

And millions were victimised, uprooted and slaughtered.

And the scars and pain remain to this day.

Did France as a nation issue any apology or show any regret for her barbaric actions which is still on-going till today?

      Don't bother to respond, 09.43.

  6. The Anglophiles and those who looked-up to the West seems to forget that it was the white-man who went to Africa, abducted the Negros for slavery trade. Many of these kidnapped African women served as the white-man's sex-slave on-board the ship that took them to the west and North America.

That was the main why, millions of Africans were citizen of Western countries today.

  9. Fast facts: Whenever a country invade/colonize/occupy another country, they will force those people from the country to adopt their culture/language/religion. If we come to notice, majority of those countries were in turmoil. Those German were smart, they didn't make that kind of mistakes...

  11. Ini semua the price that you pay for meddling with the arabs in the middle east. plundering and carving up their riches and pitting one arab against the other. it is no coincidence that countries that has historic and selfish interest in the middle east are now targets of islamic terrorism (ftance uk and usa). Malaysia pun ada historic ties jugak. not to plunder though, mostly to perform the haj. but seperti biasa, ada la plak melayu yg ingat dia arab-dan nak coopt acts of terorrism kat tanah ait sendiri. mungkin sebab takde duit nak jadi terorrist di europe kot. bangang sungguh !

  16. Hi Annie,

Terbaca satu opinion "Now the truth emerges: how the US fuelled the rise of Isis in Syria and Iraq"
    Seumas Milne

The war on terror, that campaign without end launched 14 years ago by George Bush, is tying itself up in ever more grotesque contortions. On Monday the trial in London of a Swedish man, Bherlin Gildo, accused of terrorism in Syria, collapsed after it became clear British intelligence had been arming the same rebel groups the defendant was charged with supporting.

The prosecution abandoned the case, apparently to avoid embarrassing the intelligence services. The defence argued that going ahead with the trial would have been an “affront to justice” when there was plenty of evidence the British state was itself providing “extensive support” to the armed Syrian opposition.

But terrorism is now squarely in the eye of the beholder. And nowhere is that more so than in the Middle East, where today’s terrorists are tomorrow’s fighters against tyranny – and allies are enemies – often at the bewildering whim of a western policymaker’s conference call.

For the past year, US, British and other western forces have been back in Iraq, supposedly in the cause of destroying the hyper-sectarian terror group Islamic State (formerly known as al-Qaida in Iraq). This was after Isis overran huge chunks of Iraqi and Syrian territory and proclaimed a self-styled Islamic caliphate.

Which is pretty well exactly what happened two years later. The report isn’t a policy document. It’s heavily redacted and there are ambiguities in the language. But the implications are clear enough. A year into the Syrian rebellion, the US and its allies weren’t only supporting and arming an opposition they knew to be dominated by extreme sectarian groups; they were prepared to countenance the creation of some sort of “Islamic state” – despite the “grave danger” to Iraq’s unity – as a Sunni buffer to weaken Syria.

That doesn’t mean the US created Isis, of course, though some of its Gulf allies certainly played a role in it – as the US vice-president, Joe Biden, acknowledged last year. But there was no al-Qaida in Iraq until the US and Britain invaded. And the US has certainly exploited the existence of Isis against other forces in the region as part of a wider drive to maintain western control.
The calculus changed when Isis started beheading westerners and posting atrocities online, and the Gulf states are now backing other groups in the Syrian war, such as the Nusra Front. But this US and western habit of playing with jihadi groups, which then come back to bite them, goes back at least to the 1980s war against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan, which fostered the original al-Qaida under CIA tutelage.

It was recalibrated during the occupation of Iraq, when US forces led by General Petraeus sponsored an El Salvador-style dirty war of sectarian death squads to weaken the Iraqi resistance. And it was reprised in 2011 in the Nato-orchestrated war in Libya, where Isis last week took control of Gaddafi’s home town of Sirte.

In reality, US and western policy in the conflagration that is now the Middle East is in the classic mould of imperial divide-and-rule. American forces bomb one set of rebels while backing another in Syria, and mount what are effectively joint military operations with Iran against Isis in Iraq while supporting Saudi Arabia’s military campaign against Iranian-backed Houthi forces in Yemen. However confused US policy may often be, a weak, partitioned Iraq and Syria fit such an approach perfectly.

What’s clear is that Isis and its monstrosities won’t be defeated by the same powers that brought it to Iraq and Syria in the first place, or whose open and covert war-making has fostered it in the years since. Endless western military interventions in the Middle East have brought only destruction and division. It’s the people of the region who can cure this disease – not those who incubated the virus.

    à plus.

  18. I guess that the frenchies and europeans, all of them have fallen under a trap set by isis. By fiercely bombing syria by the name of revenge, they are merely providing the isis with good material and media in order to provoke syrians locally and also abroad, thus creating new jihadist and extremist among them. Just show the syrians real or doctored pictures of civilians killed by airstrikes done either by french or other western countries, and tell them lies about western countries want to exterminate them completely in the name of war against terrorism; soon or later you will find syrian migrants suddenly look for ak47 plus lots of ammunition, create lots of homemade bombs and finally launch series of attacks across all European countries in the name of revenge for the killing and also discrimination faced by them at those countries. With millions of syrian refugees scattered across european countries, massive scale of terrorist attacks are likely to happen in the future unless the frenchies and its allies are aware of long term tactics used by isis. The mass migration of syrians to the european countries, while initially is a direct blow to isis reputation as their savior, has turned into blessings in disguise for the terrorist group. The french in long term will fell eventually, just like americans with post 9/11 crusade against al qaeda and also taliban if it only depends on military superiority alone, and not by fighting with the ideology itself, which in my opinion is better done by moderate muslim countries.
