Pakatan clowns at work

On the day MH370 went missing more than a week ago, I had highlighted what  transpired at the Pakatan's convention in Shah Alam that very same day.

Prayers for MH370 and what happened at the Pakatan's convention

I was immediately lambasted by Pakatan supporters who came to this blog and accused me of trying to exploit the incident for BN's political mileage even though the apathy displayed by leaders of Pakatan that day was indeed appalling.

When the enormity of the missing plane finally settled into their consciousness, these Pakatan leaders started to lambast the government with all kind of accusations ranging from incompetence to outright malice.

There should be no question that they were going all out to exploit the situation to gain political mileage.

Yet for the overwhelming majority of their supporters, there was nothing wrong for them to do so.

These Pakatan supporters on their part went to the social media and ridiculed the search and rescue effort conducted by their own government. Some, without any sense of shame, declared that they were ashamed to be Malaysians.

The hate must continue to be kept burning for these people, I guess.

Still, the exploitation of the missing MH370 continues.

Here is what transpired in parliament yesterday,

'Pakatan MPs will stand in for those on MH370'

Apparently, that comical Pas guy Mahfuz Omar was at it again.

Now that the plane is missing instead of laden with explosives, complete with hijackers armed to their teeth parked in front of his house, Mahfuz bravely said he was willing to exchange his life for those on board the plane.

How heroic, isn't he?

On top of that, he also said other Pakatan leaders were also willing to do the same.

Bravo, bravo, bravo, I would said.

I'm sure families and loved ones of those on board the missing plane would be moved to tears by Mahfuz's heroic statement.

They will surely vote for Pakatan in the next election....yes, even the Chinese and other nationals among those affected by the missing MH370 would fervently wish that they can vote for such brave and selfless members of parliament.

I know for a fact that the majority of Pakatan supporters were actually very proud that their splendid leaders had come out with such brilliantly brave offer.

They actually believe that Malaysians as a whole too would be moved by Mahfuz's statement.

BN should by now just give up the fight for the Kajang and Balingan by-elections.

There is no way that they can compete with the bravery of these Pakatan leaders.

Am I right, Mahfuz?

I guess Chew Mei Fun will indeed lose her deposit as predicted by DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang because of that Mahfuz's gem of a statement.

I wish Kit Siang's son Guan Eng will outdo Mahfuz after this.

"Kita bersedia menyerahkan Pulau Pinang kepada perampas-perampas kapal terbang itu sebagai ganti para tebusan. Sebagai bonus, saya juga akan serahkan Betty kepada mereka," Guan Eng would probably said.

Well, I shudder to think what would happened if these bunch of full of themselves Pakatan clowns do manage to take over this country.

  3. PR's honchos such as mahfuz, guan beng, bang non, nik ajis, kit siam etc will fetch higher price bcoz their brains are seldom used. hence the plane abductor may prefer them over the passengers.

  7. Annie,

Not all Pakatan parties are the same and amongst them, I retain a certain regard for PAS, its discipline and commitment to citizens, even though I do not agree with its Islamic State objective, especially if it were to impact upon non-Muslims as well.

The possibility that passengers on Flight MH370 could have been taken as hostages, though their abductors have not announced it yet, and Mahfuz has offered himself as hostage in the passengers' place if such a scenario plays out, but whether he lives up to his word, we'll only know when this theory of hostage taking is confirmed.

Having said that, I would agree that Pakatan politicians have not tried to be part of the solution, but have rather been a part of the problem by using this unfortunate incident to discredit the present government.

As for negative postings and comments on social media, blogs and reports, especially on "alternative" media sites; these reveal the extent of disaffection, lack of social cohesion, lack of humanity (for the passengers and crew), lack of patriotism, lack of national identity and are even expressions of racism amongst such writers and commentators.

Such negative comments reveal a racism behind them, which sees Malaysia Airlines as a "Malay" or "Barisan Nasional" airline and the "Malay" government, military, Department fo Civil Aviation, etc. as bumbling over the search for this plane.

Such attitudes have surprised people overseas, such as in the United States, who are following the plight of MH370.

These commentators remind me of coffee shop politicians back in the 1950s, 60s and 70s, with such discourse being taken online.

They also remind me of the term "chattering classes," a derogatory reference to journalists, coined by English journalist, Auberon Waugh.

"The chattering classes is a generally derogatory term first coined by Auberon Waugh often used by pundits and political commentators to refer to a politically active, socially concerned and highly educated section of the "metropolitan middle class," especially those with political, media, and academic connections."

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chattering_classes

Today, the chattering classes, including myself, yourself and others sit on our backsides behind computer screens offering our two sen worth on this unfortunate incident.

However, if we are to offer two sen, better we offer them as a contribution towards the solution, than a miniscule contribution towards the problem.

Condemning the government at this time over its handing of the problem does not help, though that can be reserved for after the aircraft is found and the mystery of MH370 is solved.

Right now, the focus should be on finding the plane, hopefully with the passengers and crew still alive and of finding answers tow hat actually happened.

Any snippets of information, suggestions, theories, speculation etc, which could help search and rescue efforts are welcome at this time.

Anyway mahfuz is clown-like in his words and action. Period. If think he isn't you must be a clown too and you can't tell it. That is in universal diction plainly unintelligent. Cannot distinguish. Blind. Deft. Dumb.
