Going naked

Voicey opened his latest posting today

Who after Najib?

with this advice

"It is a Sunday. Not the best day to talk politics. Time for family, leisure and errands."

Then he did exactly the opposite and went on at length on the latest round of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad versus PM DS Najib Razak.

Funny guy.

Well, I prefer to follow that advise though.

Can't be bothered too much by all those quarrelsome people for today.

Today I'm just telling you all about my choice of motorcycle.

It's the Z250SL

Very basic naked 250cc bike.

Nothing fancy.

I was at the dealer to test the Ninja 250SL but ended up choosing its younger Z250SL sister.

It's relatively small, slim and light, which is just nice for me.

Less than 150 kg.

Very nimble.

The height is rather low which was what I'm looking for.

Top speed is just about 160 km per hour and comfortable max cruising speed about 135 km per hour.

This is how it will be as I ride home from office in the evening.

Not very fast compared to the superbikes.

Well, I needed a bike mostly to avoid getting stuck in a traffic jam as I commute daily from home to work and back.

That's all.

I have no intention of racing on it.

It's also not for the glamour convoy rides where I would have to keep up with the bigger bikes.

The bike is less than RM17,000 on the road.

All in all, it's a very manageable machine.

  4. Annie, only a few months back, not long just 3 -4 months back you were crying poverty, struggling to buy laptop and so on. Now sunshine , you are looking at 17 grand bikes. Dah kena lottery kot.

I'm not under anybody's payroll, tell those porkies to someone else and also Annie, your grammar had also changed in some of the articles supposedly written by you. This article is written by you, some of the others were not. Pasal england kamu memang berterabur. Rasanya, kau dah mula outsourcing business kau ni.

  9. The brickwall fler asks who is going to be PM after Najib, giving out names including Muhyiddin, Zahid, Shafie Agdal, Hishamuddin, Tengku Razaleigh.

Muhyiddin still UMNO Deputy President, Zahid the most senior (by number of votes) Vice President and now the incumbent DPM.

Naughty brickwall puts Muhyiddin as the third in his list but I think UMNO will become seriously factionalized if Muhyiddin is sidelined for the post while still holding the Deputy President post.

    ReplyDelete

    1. If Najib continues as PM, I doubt if he will go against UMNO tradition (is it a rule?) that the Deputy President takes over the PM's post in case he decides to "berundur" before the next party elections, now postponed for 2 years (?).

      Delete
    2. Najib calculates that his problems would be mostly settled by the time the next party elections. Would they?

Tun Dr Mahathir continues to work hard to have Najib replaced and the Jewish-owned WSJ and NYT appear helping on the international scene. And he economy as well as the falling Ringgit not heliping as well.

As it stands now, there is no guarantee that Najib will be leading UMNO/BN at PRU14.

  13. So you are now a biker.Should be appropriately attired. That is to say-a high quality helmet, thick and robust leather jacket plus good and comfortable riding boots.Riding activity is about being sensitive to your surrounding, alert and focus.Should be a passion and not an obsession.Happy Biking To You.

If you have, then i guess they went ballistic.

  16. Now being Monday, can talk politics? Can ignore Brick in the Wall fellow who said no talk politics on a Sunday but did?

The question is when will Najib leave, not who to replace him. Quite a few that UMNO chose as party President/PM in the past turned out to be half past six ones. The worst was Tengku A Rahman who gave away Singapore to chauvinist and racist Lee Kuan Yew FOC.

Don't worry about who will take over, the system will churn out greedy and corrupt politicians anyway. Including the Opposition - even DAP having money politics as complained by Ronnie Liu at a Selangor DAP convention in the past, recently DAP tasted big-money Stale land sales commission also called "donations".

Just ensure not the Cash-Is-King kind is made party President again. And get rid of the current kingly cash guy. Utter nonsense receiving RM2.6 billion as a donation. Fully agree with Tun Dr Mhathir on that one.

  17. If the Jew Rupert Murdoch owns newspapers in many ASEAN countries, they would churn out many WSJ and NYT like "news" on Najib. Then those would hasten Najib's "berundur".

Kot Najib would feel a bigger shame than with the new Australian PM and his "golfing buddy" Obama.

Anybody knows if many ASEAN newspapers are Ruperty?

  19. Waaa this Anina Saadudin, the anti-Najib hero of Langkawi, is a Marketing Lecturer and a PhD candidate. Therefore she is not just an ordinary UMNO "grassroots member". She is Ketua Cawangan and her mother was a Ketua Wanita UMNO Langkawi.

So, don't play play with her. Najib has filed documents to strike the lawsuit she filed to recover on behalf of Umno a US$650 million portion of the US$681 million (RM2.6 billion) donation that was reportedly found stashed in his personal bank accounts. The case pending hearing. She has also filed a suit to declare her party sacking invalid.

She says happy to have the support of many Malaysians, some of whom she said would stop to snap “selfies” with her; during this newspaper interview, a woman walked up to her to shake her hands and urge her to keep fighting.

She claims having the support of many Umno members, showing that Najib does not have the backing of all three million party members.

    2. This is another case of many people not supporting Najib and UMNO. Why th hell is no action against Chinese Ambassador for inerferring in the internal affairs of Malaysia by his words and deeds in Petaling Street recently?

Chinese ambassador says no summons from Wisma Putra, said in the media will happen to day.

    3. According to Reuters, China on Monday defended the actions of its ambassador to Malaysia after he was summoned to clarify his remarks criticising extremism and racism ahead of a planned pro-Malay rally in the capital, Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia’s foreign ministry said it would meet Chinese Ambassador Huang Huikang so that he could clarify comments that “attracted attention and caused concern to the Malaysian public”.

Reuters is about 150 plus years old as a news agency, what they report should be true. So, the Chinese Ambassador must have been called by Wisma Putra and told a few things about diplomacy.

  22. Here is a good comment on the Chinese Ambassador - must be kena diplomatic scolding - picked up from somewhere:

Acting Foreign Minister Hamzah Zainuddin (Anifah Aman in New York on UN Assembly business) called and met Huang over the matter today.

But the bugger well known for having a foot in his mouth, Tourism Minster Nazri, claimed that Deputy Foreign Minister Reezal breached protocol by calling in China ambassador to Malaysia Huang. Twisted and spinned by Malaysia Chronic News. He was photographed berpeluk peluk dgn the smelly-mouthed Huang fler.

Reezal is not like the ordinary guy – he he denied the allegation and blasted the bugger by saying “I am fully aware of Wisma Putra’s standard operating procedure. I have full confidence in Wisma Putra officials in handling such a situation.” Padan muka the bugger.

  23. I rarely am proud of Khary Jamaluddin's stand and statements. This one I am -

"We need to send a signal to other countries that whatever happens in Malaysia, is our business.

"Don't let it be that because we want to guard the feelings of a bigger nation, we lose our pride," he was quoted as saying by Astro Awani in Putrajaya today.

He was commenting on China's ambassador to Malaysia, Huang Huikang's visit to Petaling Street last Friday, saying China would not sit idly by if its interests are affected.
