Dr Mahathir is our father

I didn't do any posting yesterday.

Was reading the other blogs as usual before writing my daily posting.

Read this one by The Sea Demon,

Mendacious Mendeliar

and it made me really sad.

Suddenly felt so demotivated, and decided not to write.

Was telling myself, "What's the point?"

I wish Sea Demon didn't call Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad such names.

I know it's his right to say anything he wanted but I still don't think anyone should go overboard in condemning the elderly statesman who had done so much for this country.

Yes, it's war and everything but do we have to go to that extreme?

As much as I dislike the Umno rebels calling PM DS Najib Razak all sorts of vile names, I also hate it whenever Najib's people went overboard when they attacked Dr Mahathir.

Dr Mahathir is 90 years old.

He dedicated his life to this country.

He is the father of all Malaysians.

At least that's how I see him.

I will never believe that Dr Mahathir wanted to betray us Malaysians, who is his own children.

    2. Annie,

People with vested interests (like RBA) and who have an axe to grind use your blog to badmouth the messenger (blogger) instead of countering the message.

They don't play the ball or the game. They just commit foul on the player.

  2. Don't worry annie, DrM has been called worse by others who have been forgotten, but he still remains the best PM Malaysia ever had by far.

    1. I don't think so. If you read sufficiently what Annie has been writing for so long, you wouldn't get that impression. Unless you yourself are bias.

  4. You are right, Annie.

I sometimes wonder how people could be so vile and bitter, spitting venom whenever they open their mouths. I wonder if they could sleep peacefully at night. All these bitterness, hatred and negative energy welling inside them, must be very detrimental to them and those around them. At least, it affected you negatively, Annie.

As for me, I avoid visiting blogs that spew out poison and gave them a wide berth. That way I save myself from all the negative vibes.

And, may I add, yours is still one of those positive ones.

  5. Has Sea Demon switched off his/her Comments Section? The posts have the words "Leave a comment" but the past 5-6 posts don't seem to show any comments for any of them. If so, it's no wonder. Hardly any one would want to leave a comment in a blog with that kind of thinking.

"Mahathir, the man so filled with hatred and vengeance," said he/she. But Sea Demon appears to be the one filled with hatred and vengeance. Even vengeful of TDM travelling to a conference in Sarajevo using the Malaysian government’s jet. Sea Demon even wants the privilege the government apparently accords past PMs to be withdrawn. Utterly thankless for the 22 years the old man has served the country with peace and prosperity that's incomparable with the present time.

Yet Sea Demon accuses TDM of being "thankless and selfish". Even grudges the old man travelling on a Malaysian diplomatic passport. He/she is hell of a demon. Using the very words TDM uses against Jews and Zionists and accusing TDM of "trying to rule by proxy."

And he has no clue of what he accuses TDM of - "destroy(ing) the unity of the people of this nation with his lies." And, of course, the demon does not provide the specifics. The demon should stay submerged in the sea.

    1. Anon, your comment on Sea Demon is fair. So, I'm letting it through. Please note that I respect Sea Demon's right to express his opinion even though I disagree with him.

    2. Not only fair but justified. The facts and arguments are furnished when opinions are given. Like it was Tun Dr Mahathir who used the words "rule by proxy" against the Zionists Jews.

    3. And we have the right to express our opinions against those who express opinions unacceptable to us. That's what democracy is all about.

So long as done with some decorum and decency.

  7. Dear Annie,

Concur; that name-calling, derogatory-labelling etc should be beneath any reasonably-educated citizens. Tsk! Ugama pun tak ajar/anjur perangai camni..

Further agree that he is very much a father-figure. He is/was the one who had put M'sia spot-on the map. Why, even then we were highly respected within the OIC-community.

Though nowadays when Offshore, I get 'giggles', sniggers and unidentifiable-grins from working-colleagues.. Takpe la, I suppose it's a fair-change from the usual darts or carrom..:-)

One can allege/accuse him for anything. Dia pun dah 'double-dare' authorities / whoever to investigate him pun yes.. So, tunggu pe lagi ya..

I opine consistently that IF, he were found to have committed any crime/wrong-doing, then by all means he must be punished.

    1. Of course allowance has to be given for cases of unfairness by people who accuse him. Like saying he went to Bersih 4 Rally to get Najib and the Government ousted. Not true. He just wants Najib replaced but UMNO/BN stay in power. And we have to keep pointing out that.

  8. Only illiterate and having denying syndrome will hit at Tun Mahathir like that . People can judge what Tun has did for the country and Malays and what has the current PM had done

Humane are not prefect ,he also did some mistake but unlike the predecessor the two's after him are just good in destroying what he had set for the country economically and politically .

Compering Tun Mahathir with Raja Mendaliar ,are we to compare Najib with Daing Ibrahim who sold Singapore to the British with no terms of expired , "selagi ada bulan dan bintang'.

To add more , what had Najib did to KTM land in Singapore ,and Tun Dol to Pulau Batu Putih which I am sure will not happened if Tun Mahathir was the PM then .

  10. Hi Annie,
US now open investigation into Najib scandal. Check Najib comic duo, Riza Aziz & Jho Low...these 2 buggers been robbing the 1MDB billions, and the money transfer to Najib account. Too bad, there is still Najib supporters who still believe in Najib and do whatever it takes support a corrupt person. It's very sad, at the end of the day, who suffers? We Malaysians suffer while these bugger corrupters gets away scot free pitting Malaysian against Malaysian. The current BN is so rotten and with the rotten leaders like Najib robbing the country blind and these people gets 3 million cheques and go shouting on the roadside to support him....what have become to these morally bankrupt people? Where is their moral, integrity and honour? Why they are willing to destroy the country to protect this bugger? Oh yes...money. It's always the money.

  13. Hai Annie,

So let it be , I know Tun M himself are ready with all curcumstances , but not Najib because he being living in comfort for so long with a lot of scandal that he easily covered previously ,now the time for him to face a reality with all the idiot around him plus the blogger with no moral and integrity , believe me annie sooner or later time will come for him to face the music.

    2. Sdr roslan,

If one day victors become the losers, written history might change.

    4. 1711,

Aku kesian tengok ko nih. Tertinggal ke belakang dek zaman. Kuno nye pemikiran kamu.

Ko kata "Setahu saya ..." Ko tak banyak tahu. Amat cetek pengtahuan ko tuh, Mamat, atau Ah Cheng, atau Muthusamy. Ko salah campuran. Coba le ko campur dgn rakyat mainstream sikit. Aku janji pengtahuan ko akan meluas. I promise.

I even guarantee. Against Najib's words. Remember, he has not said much. And what he said appears right - "I have not used any money for personal gain." But don't go too much into that, ok.

  22. There are people who have billions of money.

It is logical that these kind of money will go to blogs and etc.

The main purpose of these blogs is never about right and wrong but to shape perception that benefit its employer.

We will be able to tell if a blog incline to one side or non-partisan.

I am not a big fan for Tun during his time. I felt incredibly relief when he resign because he was there for too long.

However, now I support him completely because of what he stand for now. I even go to this talks.

He goes around here and there at the age of 90 for what? if not for the sake of the nation.

Tun is already 90 years of age, we hope his health continue to be good.

However, nobody will live forever. When he is still around and if what his stand for is right, then he should be supported and defended.
