I noticed that those defending PM DS Najib Razak are at the moment mostly on the defensive or even muted.
They are probably regrouping.
Regular readers of this blog should noticed that I have been defending the PM since I first started blogging just over two years ago.
I did criticize the administration when they screwed up things, but not Najib personally.
For me, those criticisms were to make things better but not to the point of toppling the leader.
I maintained that stand even after I was ejected by Najib-appointed people from my pro-establishment position due to my unwillingness to tolerate their arrogance over two months ago.
I, however, no longer felt obliged to go out of my way to defend the establishment, the PM or the arrogant people who are in the position of power because of the PM.
This is a sample of their arrogance,
Nasib penyokong marhaen Najib
As I had previously wrote, I'm now just an observer....and I don't like observing or experiencing being at the receiving end of such arrogance.
Then, just days after that I realized that things were turning for the worse.
True enough, the "storm" had then wrought havoc upon the Najib's administration and in fact has now turned into a full force "hurricane" following the Tabung Haji-1MDB fiasco.
In a way, I'm glad that I was ejected by the Najib-appointed people as otherwise I would be obliged to be on the side defending the PM.
It's definitely not an easy task now.
I also honestly don't envy those people who kicked me out of my pro-establishment position as now the job of defending the PM rests on their shoulders.
Knowing those arrogant people, I don't think they really know what to do.
I remember telling a senior aide of the PM, who is my friend, that I felt sorry for Najib as those arrogant people he appointed to positions of power were actually just mercenaries who support him just to serve their own vested interests.
Those people never actually have Umno's or the people's interests in their heart.
I personally know several Najib's people who are good such as this other friend of mine whom I described as
A good PMO guy
but I believe they are now being far outnumbered by the mercenaries.
Whatever it is, I'm wishing these few good men of Najib all the best.
I hope they survive the fight even if their side loses in the end.
