About Chinese ladies married to Malays

The haze seems so thick today that I decided to stay at home all day.

I hope the haze will be extra thick on Sept 16 so that the planned Maruah Melayu Rally will have to be cancelled.

Honestly, I'm a bit scared of it now.

My grandmother who is now at my aunt's place in Singapore called and told my mother to stock up canned food and other stuff at home.

Just in case, she said.

She remembers May 13 1969.

My mother said she will do so but hasn't go to the nearby Tesco yet.

I think she's bluffing my grandmother.

After all, she is married to a Malay.

Why should she worry.

If some Malay rempit boys come to her and shout "Hey Cina! Pegi balik Tongsan!",my mother would probably reply "Ikan Tongsan memang sedap dimakan. Awak apa masaalah?"

Bersih chairman Maria Chin Abdullah was married to a Malay too.

She got three Malay sons. Well, that's what she said about the status of her boys. I don't think she needs to worry too.

You can read Maria's story at the now defunct portal Nutgraph,

Maria Chin Abdullah

How can Malays hate someone who converted to Islam and marry one of them?

Maria is not like Ambiga.

She's nicer and never tried to build a personality cult for herself.

Chinese are not so bad, okay.

They can be irritating sometimes, but most of the time they are quite docile and only care to work hard to do well in this country.

Malays really can be friends with them....even marry them.

See, even our navy boys who are mostly Malays are being friends with Chinese navy boys.

Chinese navy fleets leave for China-Malaysia military drill

Okay, I'm trying to have a restful Sunday.

My ex even sent me a Wassap message earlier in the morning advising me to do just that.

He doesn't love me anymore, but he still cares.

I'm contented.

But still....

This is the song I used to sing to him when he still loves me....I still sing it sometimes.

I don't think my ex really understand what I was singing to him about.

He mostly listens to Chinese songs.

Real Cina bukit one.

  1. This is the problem with the Malays nowadays.....they could not accept those non-Malays who married the Malays or being adopted by the Malays....to them Malays are Malays and those non-Malays stood as non-Malays....but surprisingly they talk highly of being Islamic and as Muslim. Can as Muslim and being Islamic the person can questions the integrity and dignity or their fellows Muslims even if they are not Malays...? Then what's the purpose of being Malay Muslims....unless u want to become Malays-Malays and not as Muslims. Then of course you are definitely the real racist and created the Assabiyah concept rule of being too racist....so..in this case....which one are you putting yourself as what...Malays or Muslims first...? We don't talk of being Malaysian as we could not even resolve this simple question. So...where are we.....?

    1. Engko ni kalut tak pasal-pasal apahal? Nenek aku everytime ada demo kat KL dia telepon suruh kita orang stock up barang makan. Nenek aku dah 70 tahun lebih. Dia ingat semua apa yg jadi dulu-dulu. Tak payah melalak mintak tolong kat gomen sangat. Tu cara orang Cina, kalau engko nak tau.

    2. Hoii Mat memang la Jamal tu bodo. Tapi kau kena ingat zaman sekarang ni ramai orang bodoh. Setakat nak dapat 300k orang bodoh bukan nya susah. Baru 10% je. Pemimpin orang bodoh pun pernah cakap kalau nak kumpol 1 juta orang bukan susah untuk diaorang.Bagi sorang 100rm campur belanja lojistic sorang 160rm , semua sekali 260 juta rm je. Baru 10%.

Don'y worry Annie. The Baju Merah is just 'Gempaq'. That's what we call it in Kedah.

  5. better let MERAH event happen but it wont be like 13May... Why.. betul jugak bila ada yg cakap hangat2 taik ayam or just gempaq... pasal melayu masih aman..
so biar MERAH yg sederhana ni to take place... cuma jgn kacau mereka...

  6. Hai annie,

  8. Annie,
Everybody knows that inter-racial marriages is the only contributor to long-lasting peace and harmony in Malaysia. Below this is a single stream education, to inculcate understanding among the various ethnic groups..I almost married a china woman before, but her parents being DAPsters opposed the marriage. Now we are on different side of the political fence...George

Anda mungkin berkata saya ini paranoid tapi better be safe than sorry!

Tapi silap haribulan yg datang tak sampai 50 ribu. Kalau itu terjadi melayu akan malu lagi. Gemparan jamal ni mmg hebat, mengalahkan keling. Hahahahaha....

  11. If the Malays rally organizers cannot control the crowd and trouble erupted like in 513 then the whole world will know this Malay race have no Maruah but more like a Pariah race. It's best they have the rally as the whole world is watching and see if they can do better then the Bersih4 rally which was well organised and peaceful. Let's see the THiS GROUP OF MALAYS have maruah or are just pariahs. Let's hope they don't shame the Malay race which the majority are friendly and peaceful.

  12. On one hand everybody says it shouldn't be race-related but on the other hand, quite a lot perceive the failure of the assembly would be a shame to the Malays. Whaaaatt???

    Real anak melayu one.

  17. I remember some decades ago when our Malaysian Peacekeepers went for ToD in the Congo. This Johorean friend of my Mum's husband suggested the MalBatt marry into the locals - Congolese to foster Inetrnational Peace.
Believe nobody did. We didn't have to do that back home. My uncle married a Chinese Teochew lovely lady swell cook and very kind-hearted. Two of her neices married Malays too. Then my sis married a Chinese. Noone has ventured to marry an Indian yet though.
One even maintained the Chinese Surname but if I speak Mandarin to him or go Kanto he'll get real upset!
`I Melayu la, bukan Cina!' out of their pa's hearing, of course! He doesn't speak a word of Chinese like my son and I.
So its nothing short of Muhibbah to me, but pure unbridled INsecurity!
Hope you sehat walafiat Selamat EidulAdha, ikhlas.
Pray for our Pilgrims and the other over 2mn Jemaah will be safe and get Haji mabrur.
