The real people who beat up the lorry driver (updated)

UPDATES

(Latest : Just saw this story - Five suspects detained, lorry driver claims beaten by gangsters)

Apparently the police are really doing something about the lorry driver beating case.

My friend who gave me the info about the case which I published yesterday told me that police are rounding up the gang members involved.

He said several of them were detained yesterday.

My friend sent me the picture of one of the gang members already in police custody just now,


That's the Indian guy wearing blue t-shirt in the third picture published in the original post yesterday.

He's one of those seen savagely kicking the lorry driver several times and intimidating bystanders in the video.

My friend said police intend to catch everyone of them.

I hope he was right. I hope no one will try to protect the thugs.

The police must arrest all of them, including the leader of the gang.

We can't go around living in fear of these gangsters.

I thought I want to rest today, but a friend called just now and was all angry.

Like many others, he was angry over this video of a lorry driver beaten up by a group of thugs,


'Ini cilaka punya orang. Pukul sampai itu macam. You mau tau ka siapa ni semua?" he asked me.

"Siapa Datuk? Saya tak tau la. Orang kata ini bodyguards sama  driver satu Datuk," I replied.

"Mana ada. Itu semua tak betul. Ini gangster punya kerja,' my friend said.

My friend has quite a lot of knowledge of the underworld, so he knows these sorts of stuff.

"Gangster mana pulak ni Datuk?" I asked him back.

"Ini Geng 24 la. Dia orang ada support sama itu Bhabi Kia," my friend replied.

Honestly, I'm not sure what he was talking about.

"Itu geng punya kepala orang panggil Along Taman. Kadang-kadang orang panggil dia Along Pandan," my friend added.

"Ini Cina punya geng ka Datuk?" I inquired further.

"Tak da  la. Ini Melayu punya geng. Ada royalty punya orang," he said.

I was like WTF, when he told me that.

My friend also sent me these pictures from the scene of the incident,






My friend also said the gang leader was involved in a murder case in 2003 as reported by The Star here,

    I doubt if anything will be done about this assault.

    Look at the evidence, in order of importance :-

    1/ Gangsters
    2/ Melayu
    3/ Royalty

    Everything is on their side and as those news articles show, they can even get away with murder.

    The usual sandiwara will be played out - PDRM will "investigate", legal action will probably be taken, fingers will be wagged "naughty, naughty", wrists will be slapped, the perps will walk free and they all lived happily ever after.

    This is Malaysia.

    The rich and the powerful can do whatever they like - piss on you, piss on me, piss on anyone they like.

    The lorry driver?

    Oh, he can go jump in the Klang River if he is not happy about being beaten up.

    Realistically, what can he do?

    Would he dare to take legal action? Would he dare to press charges? Mau mati ke?

    I think he has probably already been given a few ringgit for his troubles and to shut his mouth or he'll get another beating.

    Forget about this case, Annie.

    Nothing will be done once the news moves off the "front page" - I know this, you know this, PDRM knows this.

      Yes, PDRM is investigating.

      Now, I know you may object, but let's try to look a bit further and consider some scenarios - it is what most thinking people do, at least, in the real world.

      Based on what we know previously, it will probably take months and months to gather the evidence.

      Then, when most people have forgotten about the event, there will be some token legal action.

      And that will be it - those gangsters walk away free men, free to commit more assaults and killings.

      This is Malaysia.

      I concur with what you said about ANNIE being brave in reporting this incident and divulging information about the culprits. These are no ordinary gangsters so it could be dangerous.

      The recently killed taiko in Penang incidentally was also a 24. After reading the links provided by Annie, the name Jacky Chan of Penang came out together with the hired killer tengku. This Jacky is not the Police Story actor. He was a MCA big gun and was associated with one of the biggest guns in MCA too.

      And the killer tengku was said in the 2003 news to be suspected of being a hired killer, he was in his early 20s then. Looks like he is now a big gun himself and no longer just a along taman. A along bandaraya, perhaps?

      And look at those faces in the pictures. You have seen Yakuza, you have seen Mafia, you have seen Triads, but have you ever seen a chow kit road public toilet demon? Here they are, in the pictures.

    The Singapore police & courts have been uncompromising in dealing with cases of "road rage" & assaults.

    In Singapore, people know that u can't take the law into your own hands & hope to get away with it.
