A song for fighting friends

I had something in mind to write about earlier this morning.

But when I opened this laptop just now, I felt so tired and unmotivated to write them.

It's difficult when we are unhappy.

I'm in that mode right now.

Anyway, I never really believe that I'm making much difference writing this blog.

So, it's really no big deal.

I tend to agree to a certain point with this commentator from a previous post,

It's a sad state of affairs when bloggers and has-beens act delusional into thinking they matter.

Get off your high-donkeys and get a reality check. People read blogs to be mildly amused. That's all.

Well, I'm okay with that.

After all,  I'm mostly writing this blog just for fun.

It doesn't really matter to me whether you all agree with what I wrote.

It doesn't even matter to me if you all think I'm so full of shit.

That's why I let through almost all of the comments, even the bad ones about myself.

No need to take everything too seriously all the time.

Relax a bit, okay.

See lah. When I'm in a better mood, maybe I'll write properly again.

For today, instead of writing my usual nonsense, I offer this song to you all my friends who are fighting each other over the stupid politics of this country,

Cheers.

  1. save it Annie, you are sad only because your umno friends are in splitsville, you being a die-hard yourself is understandably depressed, but who is the one person that is causing this depressing state of affairs for the whole country you do know don't you?
well, at least your blog got more comments than that bitch

  2. Annie, we sure can work it out together. Imagine Malaysia as one big physical body...and imagine there are malignant tumors lodged in the cerebrum and the cardiovascular regions.
We all agree that the diseased organs must be surgically removed for the organism to return to wholesomeness right?

  4. Annie,

//It doesn't really matter to me whether you all agree with what I wrote.//

I don't think you write too many articles which have required me to agree or disagree.

At least that is how I see it.

//It doesn't even matter to me if you all think I'm so full of shit.//

I have never seen you as one who was full of shit.

In fact, I feel you are a classic example of a person who wears her heart on her sleeve.

To me, your writings have always seem to be straight from your brain to your fingertips onto the keyboard and onto the screen.

I find your style of writing to be more genuine and more honest than most political bloggers I read.

The only other person I find comparable in writing style to you is Syed Akbar Ali, albeit you are a lot less controversial than SAA. :)

I don't think SAA watches as many Korean dramas as you do.

(On an aside, I have never figured out the attraction of Korean dramas to women and I guess I never will. Maybe that is why I have been single all these years!!)

Rather than you being full of shit, I know I can count on you to tell it like it is - no pretty words, no clever turn of phrase, no bullshit.

The fact that you write what you like makes reading your blog interesting for me.

I hope you keep writing :)

"... comparing Annie and Syed in the same bracket.."

I was comparing how they write.

I am NOT comparing WHAT they write.

I would be extremely concerned if Syed Akbar Ali began writing about the Korean dramas he watches.

  5. Your writing style is very personal. I like it. Yours has character and emotions. Keep it up. Other bloggers I don't know. Each one has their own style. Next to you, my favourite is Jebat. He is your opposite. Doesn't say much about personality. His is just full of facts and straight to the point. I like it too.

Every so often we all feel that off day. Rasa nak hibernate. Bila rasa macam tu, hibernate je. Unless it is a job, nak kena ambil cuti pula.

But we are happy for the opportunity to share our agreement or disagreement with respect to our national survival.

  13. Annie,

You said that you've got something to write about but because emotionally you're disturbed so you can't write that out.

Then you said that you agreed to the opinion that a blogger shouldn't think too highly of himself / herself, and to prove that you said that most of the comments were allowed in your blog.

Well I hope that after so long since you wrote that you are feeling better now, and I sincerely thank you for allowing most of my comments through in your blog.

And through the comments in your blog people get to know better about how Melayu Islam thinks, like M Zin, Prof Kangkung, etc., and more importantly how Islam had over time transformed and formulated their way of thinking and how UMNO BN could exploit them to get the fullest benefits politically.

No wonder that a thief is praised sky high because he was deemed a Robin Hood and that all stolen money from 1MDB had been channeled to the muslimin brothers in Sabah.

I believe that the kafirs who have been visiting your blog could now see the beauty of Islam and wanting to associate themselves with characters like M Zin and Prof Kangkung as a Muslim brother.

//PAS and UMNO share common Syaria objectives,....but does not make them a component party//

      Common Syariah objectives?

That's strange, I don't see UMNO standing on an Islamist platform.

      Please re-read what I said -

//As de facto component party of BN//

A de facto component party is somewhat different from a component party, don't you think?

That is why it is a de facto.

//PAS has many many common objectives with Pakatan//

I don't see what common objectives Parti Anak Syaitan would have with Pakatan.

Pakatan supporters do not worship Syaitan.

Pakatan supporters do not want to go around stoning people to death.

//PAS can only rule coming GE14...IF it can bring Bumi-coalition parties from Sabah and Sarawak on board//

Let's say, Syaitan smiles on you and delivers all 50+ seats in Sabah and Sarawak to Parti Anak Syaitan.

Are you telling me that Parti Anak Syaitan can win another 60+ seats in Semananjung?

If Parti Anak Syaiatn is so popular, please explain why is it that Parti Anak Syaiatn only won 21 seats out of the 70+ seats it contested in PRU13?

And how many of those 21 seats were won with help from DAP and PKR?

M Zin, somebody is lying to you about how powerful Parti Anak Syaitan is.

    4. M Zin,

//PKR and even DAP will also win less seats//

Probably because a de facto component party of BN will do everything it can to ensure that UMNO will continue to rule Putrajaya.

//without so loyal PAS grassroots doing the running to put up their election posters//

During GE13, in my kampung, PAS members did virtually nothing but sit on their bums - seriously.

Since then, we have had a lot of PAS members becoming Amanah members and what a change we have seen.

Once released from the grip of Syaitan, Amanah members have been so different and friendly towards non-Muslims.

When PAS held power in my kampung, nobody was ever invited to Hari Raya festivities.

Amanah , on the other hand, has been throwing open the doors, and I have eaten so much yummy Melayu food that I have had to turn down Hari Raya invitations - tak bolih makan any more, kenyang lah and everybody knows how much I can eat. No lie.

The Islam of Parti Anak Syaitan EXCLUDES me in Hari Raya festivities.

The Islam of Amanah INCLUDES me in Hari Raya festivities.

Which Islam do you think wins friends and respect?

//if the party you give a terrible name will not come out as Leader of opposition, that PAS used to be until 2004//

Parti Anak Syaitan is the name I saw used by others.

I am not so clever as to think of such names.

BUT I do think it is a very appropriate name.

The whole ideology of Parti Anak Syaitan is to make people hate and ridicule Islam.

Look at your own thinking - you are happy to participate in the primitive barbaric practice of stoning your lil sis Annie just because somebody told you that you are are entitled to!!

And you had nothing to do with what she did!!

This looks like the work of Syaitan which is in your head and heart as He encourages you to kill.

And yet, you can stand up and smile and tell everybody that Islam is about forgiveness and peace.

Where is the compassion, where is the forgiveness, where is the peace in your version of Islam?

The Islam of Parti Anak Syaitan is about hate - hate for those who will not conform to your demands, hate for those who have made mistakes, hate for those who refuse to accept your barbaric acts.

The Islam of Parti Anak Syaitan is about punishment - punish anybody who challenges your authority, your demands, your fatwas.

I am sorry, M Zin, I cannot support the Islam of Parti Anak Syaitan.

I know of a different and better Islam.

My people? What on earth do you mean?

Do you mean the Chinese or the Indians or the Dayaks or the Ibans or the Siamese?

      No, no, no.

I learnt the name of Parti Anak Syaitan from a Malay Muslim.

I thought about it for a while and I decided it was quite appropriate because almost everything that is being done by Hadi Awang so far seems like something Syaitan would do.

As far as I can tell, Hadi Awang wants me to hate Islam and ridicule Islam.

No thanks, Hadi Awang, I refuse.

//Really lost interest to reply your comments here when you start like that//

No, it is not because you lose interest, it is because you are unable to answer.

//You keep your insults to RocketKini or MalaysiaKini or wherever you come from//

I have never been to RocketKini or Malaysiakini.

You keep forgetting I have no loyalties to DAP or MCA or MIC or any political party.

You may notice that I have expressed admiration for some UMNO people mentioned here in LoA.

I support whom I please, when I please, if I please.

I find it really really nice when I do not have to blindly follow what someone tells me to do :)

      Where do I come from?

I come from a small kampung in Selangor if you must know :)

A small kampung where many Malay Muslims are no longer in the grip of Syaitan.

I do not know how long they will be able to resist Syaitan because I am told His Powers are strong and His Temptations are great.

Maybe one day, I will no longer be invited again to Hari Raya festivities but until then I will enjoy the hospitality and good times with Malay Muslims from Amanah.

Where did I say I learnt about Parti Anak Syaitan from a Muslim friend?

Are you are trying to make up stories to fit in with what you want to believe?

BTW, I have many Muslims I consider to be friends.

Some of them are even Shias, Druze and a really weird sect which I just cannot remember the name of.

Just so that you know, my Shia friends are really friendly, open and always willing to share their views on Islam with me.

And the wonderful thing is that they are never evasive or give me any double-speak or try to change the subject or talk in circles.

I am sorry I don't get to meet them often enough. :(

But some of those Shias have some strange beliefs compared to the Sunni friends I have, but what can I say, that's what they believe.

//despite so many millions great PAS members//

      Millions of great PAS members?

Hmm, millions, maybe, but great, I am not so sure.

I have a feeling most of those PAS members would have no problems joining you in stoning your lil sis Annie to death.

      Does that make them great?

Personally, I find it strange that when a PAS member becomes an Amanah member, he/she seems to undergo a transformation.

It is as though he/she has escaped from something terrible, from something evil.

The happiness in their faces and the way they talk is just so different.

Maybe it is just me , or maybe it is just the ex-PAS members around my kampung, I don't know.
