Is Najib really evil?

Many had of late commented in this blog that PM DS Najib Razak should be replaced due to the perceived weaknesses of his administration.

I believe these commenters are pro-BN.

Pro-Pakatan commenters who came here normally would just bashed BN and calling its leaders names. They just want Anwar Ibrahim as PM...or Lim Guan Eng.

But does the Najib's administration is so flawed that it need to be replaced?

Is Najib really a bad man?

Okay, for instance, on the latest price hike issue, do you think Najib is so evil that he purposely caused the price of goods to go up so that the people suffer?

I honestly don't think so.

I feel that the government really need to cut down on spending in subsidies as all these while we are living in an artificial comfort zone. The country simply could not afford to continue that way.

I don't think Najib is doing what he is doing now so that his wife can use the rakyat money to buy a new Birkin handbag.

Those Rosmah's handbags, I believe, were bought using his own money. Najib is not exactly a poor man in the first place.

Najib really love his wife. If he has the money and want to buy his wife a handbag, then let him be lah. I can understand that.

Well, of course Najib need to trim down the spending on such things as paying for all those stupid consultants. I agree with that.

That, he needs to do as soon as possible. Otherwise, it will be difficult for even his most ardent supporters to defend him.

It will actually be a pity if Najib is to be replaced.

He is arguably the nicest PM Malaysia has ever had. Yes, he is even nicer than Tun Hussein Onn and Pak Lah. He is after all the one who get rid of the ISA and doing his best to liberalize the country.

He tried to be a PM for all.

Just the other day a Chinese DAP supporter forwarded me a Facebook posting by Singapore's Lee Hsien Loong on how he spend time with the family of a lady whose hand was crushed by a machine in a work related accident. She told me that Najib need to do more of such things.

I told her that the PM had done all that but people like her still want Anwar to replace him.

"He had done all he can to be a friend of the Chinese, yet they still spat in his face. Now the Malays want him out because they feel that he was being too friendly with the Chinese," I told her.

I still feel Najib is the best choice as our PM for now.

He is definitely nicer and more sincere that the likes of Anwar, Guan Eng and Hadi Awang put together.

I also think that he is a better leader than that of his potential replacements - TS Muhyiddin Yassin, DS Zahid Hamidi, DS Hishammuddin Hussein and DS Shafie Apdal.

Now, if only he can tighten up his ship a bit more. Be focused and he surely can do what he intended to do.

As for now, first and foremost, I feel that Najib needs to restore confidence among BN supporters that he could last the mile until GE14.

I wish him the best and hope that he will succeed.

Yes we the rakyat are having too much fun and i suppose a selected few must suffer like this
" The clueless PM says his gomen got no money. He says we have to tighten our belts, we have to pay higher tolls, higher fuel prices, no more subsidies etc because his gomen got no money.

He wants to introduce the GST so that his gomen can collect more taxes - NOT LESS TAXES ok kekawan dunggus.

If that is the case why allow a crony company to collect RM216 Million a year from visa applications in Nepal alone? Why not increase the visa fees and let the gomen collect the extra RM216 Million? Why does this crony company want to remit their collections to Hong Kong? Is Hong Kong closer to Cayman Islands?

What is wrong with the clueless PM?"

And who is the largest consumer group in Malaysia? Orang Melayu juga.

So just because a few cronies want to get rich, semua orang Melayu jadi miskin.

98 UMNO cronies pegang Open AP untuk import kereta and the whole country has to suffer higher car prices. Siapa jadi miskin dulu? Orang Melayu juga.

Dato kroni, Tan Sri kroni semua makan duit buta. Tak payah kerja. Duit masyuuuuk saja dalam kocek" - from outsyed the box....

    1. I don't know much about this Nepal visa application thing. so, I cannot comment on that. But I can comment on some other things like the GST issue. There must be some good reasons why so many countries have adopted the GST.About the AP system, it will be gone, sooner or later. This so-called cronies will have to learn how to live like many other people without APs. In reality if you care to compare the price of the cars, it is going down. No doubt about it.Apa relevantnya komen ttg the largest consumer group in malaysia dgn datuk najib? Berckp ttg consumerism, bilangan tak penting tapi yg penting ialah purchasing power. melayu ramai cuma boleh bagi menafaat dalam sistem pilihanraya aja. other than that, tak ada menafaat pun org melayu yg ramai. penagih dadah ramai melayu, miskin tegar ramai melayu. penerima BR1M ramai melayu. the facts that we Malays are not proud of

  6. Annie, the only thing I don't understand about Najib is he appears not to lead. He has been silent on issues like "PPSMI" and "kalimah Allah". I don't really care about the latter, it's the former which is important for our future generations. We all know Najib sent ALL his children including stepchild RA to exclusive schools overseas and learn in English, and yet he chooses to ignore the pleadings of the parents who want their children to be taught in English at least for science and maths but can't afford, unlike Najib to send them overseas.

Najib's silence on PPSMI is deafening. He looks to me like a fairweather leader. I am not comfortable with his leadership. A leader who flies in a private jet cannot be expected to emphatise with the rakyat naturally!

    1. Are you comfortable with Anwar's leadership? He and his friends seem to like flying in a private jet too. That even before he becomes a PM.

  7. 1. last year for automotive open APs is 2015. next year. after that the malaysian chinese importers may resume to corner out the car supply market and kill off all the 98 malay/umno cronies..

    2. the chinese made najib weak when they pushed him to work hard, took all he offered, misled him to think he may have their support but then left him out in the cold...big time! malays are abandoning him too bcos they saw what the chinese were doing but good old najib is poor and indifferent in retaliation. malays/umno want someone seen strong and with bigger balls. najib's now all alone without an ally in the world except rosmah.

    3. the adage goes..'there more u want change, the more u remain the same'.. or worse, u tumble far from whatever ground u've already established.. the world is not getting more liberal.. its getting more extreme, i'm afraid. its easy to show a liberal face when u don't have power. try it with power.. anwar wanted to close vernacular schools when he was at education (don't mind what he says today.. read old newspapers).. hadi awang almost made trengganu a theoretical state if not for federal laws.. evidence in history is for all to see.. kedah... trengganu.. and i doubt very much if kelantan is the best state to live in today.. it shows from the 80%of kelantan youths that has to find work outside of the state.

    4. like the chinese, the malays also would not want to lose out. although guan eng says at almost his every chinese speech that the chinese have been made 2nd, 3rd, 4th class citizens in malaysia, the malays think otherwise bcos of the chinese's power of wealth which doesn't exclusively come from handwork.

    5. if you hate umno, the umno that u hate will not lose. it will only change it's face.. just like MCA to DAP.. likewise, malays don't vote BN and PR.. they vote umno or pas..if a vote for mca will make umno strong, they will vote fr mca. its every malay's dream of the combination of the umno and pas in the name of racial unity. therefore, come GE 14, from the looks of today, get ready for an umno-pas coalition with a pas guy as PM and an islamic state in the loom. btw, it doesn't take a 2/3 majority in parliament to close-down all the vernacular schools. it's not a constitutional right. just a cabinet decision will do..

  8. I agree with you on this, Annie. I am sure during Tun Mahathir's time there are also a lot of BN supporters who disagreed and wanted someone else to take over, but those days there weren't any social media to make the grouses sound super loud.

    ReplyDelete
  9. True, he tried to make a difference. But, he outsourced the thinking and planning to the consultants. That's what make people, even civil servants unhappy (please look at the significant votes going against Tengku Adnan in Putrajaya).

People start comparing between Tun M and Pak Lah and Najib put together. Both the 5th and 6th have weak leadership style.

I was taken aback when I heard a cabinet member spoke about government being weak now. I just pointed to him, weak or not, you're still a government. Those in the Pakatan state governments, save for Kelantan, they make their presence felt, be it for the right or wrong reason.

When people accused him and his cabinet members of any wrongdoing, they chose to remain silent. The opposite is true in the opposition camp. They drag their accusers to court (they recognize the role of court despite accusing the government's influence on judges). Most cases were retracted when people don't care about them anymore.

  14. I honestly feel that Malaysia is a beautiful place, and you all Malaysians need to come together to make this country work. We all have so much respect for you, and look up to you as the modern Islamic nation that you are. I grew up watching Tun Mahathir take world stage and speak his mind. I agree, you can't please everyone, and i am the doctor's advocate, nevertheless, i also have to agree that Najid is trying his best to make Malaysia continue its journey of success towards a vision 2020. Deep down in my heart, i would love for this nation to continue doing its best, you have inspired third world and developing countries from Asia,Africa,Europe and Latin America. Believe me, not all the Malays are getting help from the government, i know for a fact, and Chinese need to realize that. I know Malays who cannot even get jobs, not allow in Advertising agencies, banks, and other private sectors, because its control by Chines, i also know Chinese that are not wealthy, that don't drive BMW, and eat in Alexi's everyday. But i know one thing, in the end, you all come together, eat together, each one of you have friends from other races, and deep down inside you care for one another. Its the just the stupid politics.
