UKM students and kids with autism

Busy taking care of grandma.

So, this is just a short highlight requested by my friend.

It's about a group of electrical engineering students from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) who organised an event for children with autism from several schools in Kuantan.

The students called it "Harvesting love in science and technology with autistic children".

It was held at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sultan Abdullah yesterday.

The event was sponsored by Red One, Dashing, Ayam Brand, Ve Good, Nestle, Button N Label, Port 2 Print. (I'm putting this to encourage generous corporations to support these sorts of activities)

The students spent half a day doing fun and educational activities with the children with autism.

That's good of the students.

It's better than going to political rallies or doing other stupid things.

Students should leave those nonsense to politicians and other stupid people.

They should just study hard and do beneficial things when they have some free time like those UKM students.

Here are pictures of the event sent to me by my friend,

This is nice, right?

Cheers.

  1. Kudos to the students. Actually, annie, it's these acts of wanting to help those who are less fortunate that will eventually politicise idealistic young people.

Because as they help out, they will listen to the woes of the unfortunate, such as lack of funding, bureaucratic red tape, arrogant government officials etc. Then they will compare it government funding for syok sendiri projects, political fat cats and their family showing off dubious wealth etc.

That's why the opposition gets lot of support from the young. They will come out and volunteer for free. Look at the Bersih youngsters.

And compare it with Umno volunteers who complain if they don't get allowance or Tshirts etc, according to Umno friends who were involved in campaigns. They said those disgruntled will willingly sabotage rivals.

Actually, worldwide, young people are becoming more idealistic. They are wired, youtubed and connected online and they learn a lot from their favourite youtubers.

I was surprised to hear young kids under 12 telling me about climate change, not eating shark fins soup, Hitler, Isis and even about our First Couple and 1Mdb. They may not get all the facts right but they are aware.

    3. Kudos to these students indeed. Congratulations to all of them for such a fine effort. They should organise similar event but for those who're stammering in BM particularly the MPs.

    Annie,

The only young people who should be passive is the overpampered kids of the Umngok 'leadership' dan kroni2 yang sewaktu dengannya.

These rich kids can have a good time spending what Daddy has siphoned off from public funds. They all have their luxury pads in London and New York, where they will learn to perfect with their omputih twang while Daddy plays to the gallery locally about the importance of national schools and BM. If they are lucky, Daddy will even send cash for making movies and buying penthouses.

For the ordinary young people, the future rakyat marhaen, they cannot remain passive. Their future is being stolen from under their noses. The future path of any kleptocracy that has done a reverse coup against the people is quite clear: there will be complete, open corruption and the ordinary folks will suffer more and more. History shows this time & again.

You can talk about charity, but when the gomen is stealing from charities, what should you fix first?

  5. Annie,

There is a certain Ah Soh blogger, goes by the name Ang Kang Kong something - A known dedakian (some say Ah Soh is half bred, more than Redzuan Tee) lost her top about your blog. Accused you of being a double agent of some sort, a facilitator to ANC (of course Ah Soh quote someone else name).

I guess its typical demonstration of how far an old fart Ah Soh blogger willing to go when their stats going down the drain compare to younger, prettier leng lui blogger. (or perhaps this is what happen when dedak is not flowing as smoothly as it used to be in Ah Soh account)

    Ah well... Marina Arm Pffiit!!

  6. Someone just accused Annie of something, so what else is new? If she had just googled "blogroll missing" all these other bloggers also lost their blogrolls recently. Annie certainly did not cook up a story about her blogroll getting wiped out. So, who is the one that is full of malice?

Ah Soh wrote. She certainly is very well-informed and don't even bother to do some checking before jumping to the conclusion that Annie is deceitful and always lying.

  8. Just because she Fatso HA is lying, doesn't mean others are doing it. Hey Fatso, you sold yourself to the devil, so live with it! Others don't stoop so low like you did and still does!

  9. Annie,

Those students should be commended for their selfless act of kindness towards others who are less fortunate than themselves.

//It's better than going to political rallies or doing other stupid things.//

I do, however, disagree with you about students taking part in politics.

An interest in politics can also open the minds of students to what is happening around them.

Students all over the world have always been at the forefront of social conscience and political activism is nothing more than an expression of that conscience.

  10. M Zin,

    Guess what?

I heard that you have been trash talking about commentators from this blog.

I am puzzled as to why you would do such a thing elsewhere and not here in Annie's blog.

I would have thought that you confront those "vulgar-mouth ANCs" (ANC being Anti-Najib Commentators(?)) head-on in this blog here as Annie seems interested in all views being presented in her blog.

Apparently, you seem to believe that there are ANCs here who are being paid to " slander the PM and Datin Seri".

BTW, I had always thought you are a PAS guy, but it seems you are rather protective of Najib and Rosmah.

Are you actually an UMNO person?

Personally, I found the views you presented elsewhere fascinating and I thought that if I mentioned it here, you would have the opportunity to do some whacking yourself.

I take it that you are not paid to provide your views, just like me :)

My apologies to other commentators as this comment of mine is completely off-topic.

    2. M Zin,

Firstly, I am not sure why you seem to think that using Arabic phrases make a difference to what you say.

I guess some people need to seem pious and holy and quoting Arabic phrases is the "in thing".

Secondly, I would appreciate your views on my comments about trash talking about commentators here in other blogs.

    4. M Zin,

//The nauzubi 'Llah quote was for //

I think you misunderstood my comment about Arabic phrases.

I do not really understand why many Malays use Arabic phrases.

Is it so that you seem to be a very pious person?

Is there a need to advertise to the world that you are a Muslim?

//RPK is a proudly professed PAS and TGHA supporter.//

RPK is feeling his age and displays symptoms of manic depression in his writing.

He needs to be assured of what happens when he dies.

Hence, it is no surprise he is becoming very Islamic again :)

//I had questioned the presence of ANCs $ propagandists here in a couple of previous threads,//

Yes, I have noticed your "questions".

Maybe if you offered some views, you may get some interaction.

For example, I ask you questions but I also offer my views.

Anyway, maybe that is what some Muslims think life is all about, just asking question after question and letting others provide the answers.

See? That is my view. I believe in exchanging ideas and views and asking questions is just a part of the exchange.

You believe in just asking questions :)
