Shameless hatemongers who continue to divide us

Not too long ago, there were people who called on Umno to kick out MCA, Gerakan and the other non-Malay/non-Bumiputera parties from BN.

They wanted Umno to instead get Islamist party Pas to be its partner along with the Bumiputera parties of Sabah and Sarawak.

Their argument was that the Malays and Bumiputera can rule this country on their own and turn it into a conservative Malay Muslim country.

According to them, the Malays and Bumiputera should be on one side with the enemies being the non-Malays/non-Bumiputera, particularly Chinese.

Proponents of this idea wanted Malaysia to be a racially polarised country, either it was because they wanted to stay on top of everyone else that way, or they do it simply out of spite after their hateful ways were previously rejected by others.

The bad people don't want our children to be friends and share this country. Maybe it's because they don't have real friends themselves.

I believe you all should know by now that there were even Chinese who are among the prominent advocates of this divisive idea.

Well, there were all sorts of theories about that, which include someone being badly dumped by a love partner in DAP and such, but I rather not go into it.

It's Ramadhan, so, I rather not tell such speculative stories, okay.

Anyway, they argued that the Chinese will never return to support BN, if it remains the way it is - moderate and multi-racial.

These people who can only be described as hatemongers insisted that the Chinese be punished by the Malays for their tsunami in the 2013 general election.

Fortunately, it turned out that they were wrong.

Umno, despite its difficulties refused to go down that path and in return, a substantial portion of the Chinese in Sungai Besar and Kuala Kangsar rewarded it by turning the tide against the quarrelsome opposition.

This follows similar trend in Sarawak where BN component parties there did quiet well to penetrate DAP's Chinese majority strongholds during the recent state election.

As I had expected, the hatemongers refused to back down and continued to insist that Umno must make concessions for Pas at the expense of its non-Muslim partners in BN.

I believe they knew they were wrong but have to keep up the antics because that's the only way forward for them.

It's a case of "tahik sudah kena muka, tak tau nak buat apa" (shit already hit the face but too embarrassed to even wipe it clean).

Yes, they just don't want to admit it because they think they are always right.

A case of bloated ego, if you ask me.

For instance, when these people insisted that Johor Umno must combine with Pas, they never realised that Pas is actually a zero force in the state, especially now.

That's the problem when supposedly know-everything arm-chair analysts believe they are very clever.

Having mixed around with the Johor Pas people in the past, I'm quite sure that over 70 per cent of them are now with Amanah, led by the likes of former Pas vice-president Salahuddin Ayub, former Pas youth chief Suhaizan Kayat and former Pas central committee member Mazlan Aliman.

And these Johor Amanah leaders, combined with DAP are still real threats to BN in Johor which have a huge percentage of Chinese voters.

If Johor Umno follows the demand of those who wanted MCA and Gerakan to be kicked out of the coalition instead of helping them win back the Chinese support, I believe Johor BN will be in big trouble in the next general election.

I'm not exactly sure the motives of these people who want that to happen.

Either they are just merely egoistically stupid or maybe they were planted as trojan horses within BN to promote such an idea which will cause BN to be hated by the people and eventually be destroyed.

Anyway, it's up to the Umno leadership to decide whether the party should be nice or nasty.

Those hatemongers always say that "Nice guys don't win wars",  and that Malays should not be nice to Chinese.

They were wrong.

As proven in Sarawak, Sungai Besar and Kuala Kangsar, BN's play nice campaign worked.

And on top of that, it's also a relief to know that I was right about the Chinese being capable of returning the same when the Malays are nice to them.

Now I truly believe that being firm but nice is the best way to go.

  1. re, the bad people don't want our children to be friend,

The Malays have learned accept them for years and 59 years since Merdeka . They still insist on their own school and language and system which means to isolate them from the rest.

Should the Malays to be blamed again if they still insist to isolate themselves ?.

    1. Whoa - that's a selective interpretation of the facts.

But why let facts get in the way of a good "spin"?

Is the national education system any better off because of the existence of vernacular schools?

Aren't national schools supposed to be wholly and completely secular with no favouritism based on race or religion?

Why do so many Malaysians study in Singapore schools?

      Or in international schools?

    Annie,

    I don't think so.

That bitter old spinster just suffers from the same syndrome that many ugly women who have never grown up suffer from.

I still think it's hilarious when Blubba mocks Hannah Yeoh on grounds of her appearance. Hello, Ah "Sow", cerminkan diri sendiri dulu, oi. Hannah Yeoh may be ugly, but you are completely hideous. See? So don't be such a munafik.

The other one that Blubba Porkfat picks on is Regina Lee, KJ's polsec.

    She's not bad-looking.

So, basically any young(er) Chinese female who has made it in politics will arouse the wrath of Ustazah Khizir. I think she fancied a political career herself, until she got distracted by something edible in the corner of her tiny little eyes.

    Hence, it's a psychological problem.

I would tell her to get help but the Blob has melted onto its chair, from which it never moves while cutting & pasting its previous blog posts into a "new" one (***yawn***).

    What a sad loser.

Why study Logic? Perhaps the most important thing to give your child to prepare him to confront this world is a firm grasp of logical thinking skills. Without this refined skill — the ability to reason correctly — his thinking is not firmly anchored, but will be "tossed to and fro, and blown about with every wind of propaganda." Children who can logically understand what they believe will hold fast to the truth and will be able to defend it throughout their lives.

Logic is necessary to analyze other people’s beliefs. Logical fallacies are everywhere in our society. If your child cannot detect the logical mistakes he hears, then how will he discern who is right? The study of logical fallacies - ie. common mistakes in reasoning - is important to critically reason through the statements of others.

Logic is necessary to understand and communicate our own beliefs. The religious scriptures also command us to prove our doctrines and practices. We are to reason and dispute from the scriptural verses with persuasive and convincing arguments. If we are able to think through and reason clearly, then we will be better equipped to give a proper defense of our faith and actions.

Logic is necessary. The study of formal logic should be considered foundational to every educational curriculum. In the past it was the case. The roots of logic stretch into every other subject. The construction and programming of computers, for example, is based entirely upon the application of the laws of logic. The proofs of algebra and geometry rely upon the laws of logic. The laws of logic, in one way or another, are fundamental to every academic discipline, even the law of course.

Unfortunately, the study of logic is dispensed with in the modern curriculum. In summary, social skills should not be considered more important than right thinking skills.

It is simple hate - nothing more, nothing less.

Some people thrive on hate and they actually prosper because of the support and admiration they receive from similarly minded people.

  11. Annie,

Comment from PAS vice-president Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah:

“We split up because there was an issue. Firstly, it was DAP’s attitude of being vocal in opposing us and our president,” he was further quoted as saying.

“We in PAS had not undermined DAP’s struggles when we were a part of PR. We know DAP is a secular party that disagrees with hudud but we had never gone against it because we know the concept of ‘agree to disagree’,” he added.

    I agree.

The DAP just went overboard and burned their bridges.

    Too much arrogance.

Now the Oppo is weak because of DAP.

  12. "As proven in Sarawak, Sungai Besar and Kuala Kangsar, BN's play nice campaign worked."

Of-course the 'nice campaign' worked wonders when it was kneaded with Rakyat's money.

I hope people, especially UMNO members are not being misled by the idea that Chinese vote have returned to BN through KK and Sg. Besar by-election result.

    This is from OSTB.

Surely UMNO has cleverly outmanouevred PAS. Now PAS is weaker and more dependent on UMNO.

The cleverest voters were the Chinese. The two Parliamentary seats were BN. So it does not make any difference.

When Badawi lost the 2/3 majority in 2008 and Tun Dr Mahathir was rooting to get rid of Badawi, the DAP (the late Karpal and Lim Kit Siang) both said that Badawi should be left alone to continue as Prime Minister. This is because with Badawi as PM, the BN would have lost 2013. Kicking out Badawi in 2009 and replacing him with Najib perhaps saved the BN from total annihilation in 2013. (Unfortunately, yes unfortunately) we did not know about the RM2.6 billion then.)

But to the disappointment of the anti BN Chinese, Dr Mahathir was able to oust Badawi.

The same situation prevails now. Tun Dr Mahathir is trying his best to get rid of Najib because Najib is really, really bad for the country. If Najib prevails, the BN will also lose the next GE14. Dont be fooled by these two by-elections in KK and Sg Besar. The crooks poured millions of Ringgit into both places.

Dr Mahathir has been completely straight forward. The BN can be saved if Najib is kicked out now. The BN will get a new PM, UMNO will appoint Muhyiddin to take over from Najib and there is a fighting chance for reform. This is Dr Mahathir's hope. He has said it quite plainly.

This time the Chinese in KK and Sg Besar have turned down Dr Mahathir. They would rather have Najib prevail as PM and drive the country completely into the ground by 2018. The stealing also will not stop. On the contrary the stealing will increase in speed. Come 2018, the economy will be a skeleton. Then the BN will get kicked out. This is what the Chinese want to happen ultimately. It is in the interests of the Chinese to see the BN prevail until 2018. Hence the large Chinese turnout.

Dr Mahathir wants to kick out Najib now so that his beloved UMNO and its Malay political power will prevail. The Chinese are well aware of that.

This is a democracy. The ballot decides who rules. Whether it is a good decision or not cannot be gauarnteed by the ballot. Democracies make horrible mistakes too.

    End quote.
