It's basically the same boring Cabinet with minor political adjustments.
Well, nothing much Ismail Sabri can do, I guess.
He needs to keep the political balance anyway.
I actually felt sorry for him as he even need to appoint these three jokers into his Cabinet - Shahidan as Federal Territories Minister, Noh Omar as Entrepreneur Development and Cooperation Minister as well as Mahdzir Khalid as Rural Development Minister.
I believe that's just to make the Umno leadership happy.
Personally, I think the trios should just stay as parliament backbenchers at most.
Well, never mind, those are not really crucial ministries for now as we battle the Covid crisis.
What truly matter for me now are the Health and Finance ministries.
I think it's good that Ismail Sabri put Khairy as Health Minister as the guy could now continue his vaccination work which is perhaps the only bright light coming out of the current Covid gloom.
For me, it's okay that Khairy and Dr Adham swapped their posts.
I actually have no problem with Adham as he's a good worker and a real doctor, but he's not as good as Khairy when placed under pressure.
As for the Finance Ministry, I honestly don't mind that Zafrul got his job back but couldn't help to feel Ismail Sabri could appoint someone even better.
My personal choice for the post is Umno deputy president Mat Hassan, who has extensive corporate background and had ran Negri Sembilan quite well when he was its MB.
He could be appointed as senator for that, same as Zafrul.
Mat Hassan's appointment to such an important spot in the Cabinet may also drive a new revival for Umno.
But then again, Ismail Sabri and several other Umno leaders may not like Mat Hassan to be in that position as he may outshine them again as he did when Umno almost died after GE14.
Sigh....the usual stupid Umno internal politicking.
Okay lah, since Zafrul had been appointed, let's just hope he does an even better job this time.
I know that he tried and is still trying his best but the guy simply needs to be more people-friendly.
I mean his policies need for now be focused on lessening the people's sufferings due to Covid such as having another look at the loan moratorium and its interests issue.
As for the reappointments of the other icky characters into the Cabinet, let's just bear with them for the next few months.
Hopefully Khairy and Zafrul (along with the other handful of okay guys in the Cabinet) will do a good job to take us out of this pandemic as soon as possible.
Once we have overcome Covid and can have GE15, let's get a new and better government of our own real choice.
Saya tambah lagi satu Joker from Ipoh
..Ahmad Faizal Azumu
We had nasi goreng from ahmad maslan and now we have to endure curry mee day in day out. We thought his short tenure was a blessing but now we are doomed. We must have done something wrong to deserve god's wrath.Delete

Again people like to think PH has a lot a say in this merry go round chair game PN play. 88 MP and 53% voters didn't have must say in which idiot is better at running the country. All these government changes trigger by bersatu and UMNO. The rest of us just watch the clowns playing games.Delete

Remember your theory that YDPA prefers to choose H2O due to some family link?
Good thing he didn't lorrrrrr.....
A proposal sent to Hishammuddin in 2015 quoted the price at worth US$60 million, but three months later, the price was inexplicably inflated.
“Just three months later, it submitted another proposal, this time over US$70 million,” the source was quoted as saying.
“In just three months, the price inexplicably went up by over 20%.”
In checks about the company, it was found to have been making financial losses prior to the deal, and the helicopter deal is reportedly its first contract, and first multi-million ringgit agreement.
“It only owned computers, furniture and office supplies valued at under RM50,000. Mindef could have gone directly to MD Helicopters (the American aerospace manufacturer that produces the helicopters) and saved millions in taxpayers’ money” said the source.
And this clown is back at the same Ministry.
There goes our $$$$$$$$$.
Well, if true, PH should charge Hishammuddin la when they were in power. Why not? Don't simply accuse as it can amount to defamation.Delete
Errrr, the gomen got backdoored at the wrong time:Delete
And no, it's not defamatory, this is a Parliamentary body. Which discovered that over 1 billion is missing from the purchase of the ships.
You think we'll ever get the money back?
In fact, if your beloved Umgnok had won PRU14 as they expected to, not a single sen would ever have been recovered from 1MDB.
Not one sen.
These people have relied on the stupidity of macai like you to keep stealing, you see : )
Think about it.
PH backdoored themselves. Muhyiddin and gang were PH, remember? As long as someone has not been convicted, any such accusation is defamatory.Delete
Annie O Annie O Annie,Delete
You don't seem to understand the first thing about the law, do you?
e.g. "Najib was the finance minister who approved the PSI board meeting minutes on 23rd September that transferred 700 million."
Fact or defamation?
Aiyooooooo, Annie, Annie.
Play with your hair lah : )
Looks like I really need to just block stupid people like this from commenting instead of trying to make them realise that they are stupid.Delete
And you want more money to vanish?ReplyDelete
Just look at Works ministry.
The major concession to manage the entire Pan Borneo Highway project in Sarawak had been handed by then Public Works Minister, Fadillah Yusuf to his brother Bustari Yusuf’s company, Lebuhraya Borneo Utara Sdn Bhd (LBU).
LBU was only registered in 2011 and has zero track record in construction and any trading activity, so why was LBU appointed as the main contractor?
Bustari Yusuf goes back a long way in Sarawak, where he was at one point treasurer of the dominant state party PBB and a major timber concession winner from his close political ally Taib Mahmud.
In the run up to the 2013 general election Bustari Yusuf received no less than RM56 million in funds from Najib’s accounts through two separate monster payments – money that is widely understood to have been aimed at securing the election for BN back in his home state, Sarawak.
Yet again, a major songlap-er is back at the source of songlap.
Not too good, right?
I said already what, if that's true, GE15 after the pandemic, let's change the government again.Delete
I will say, for as long as PN, BN and GPS are working together, the next govt after GE15 will still be same coz Malays will vote to maintain the Malay/Islam govt.ReplyDelete
This true as long as the malay continue to have food and money on their table. As long as PN, BN and GPS continue to give it will be the same. Are you sure these 3 can continue to give. I guess you're the few are not affected by the downturn. Let hope there more malay happier with their life come ge15.Delete

same old shit. shahidan the child molester as ft minister is a joke.ReplyDelete
Im letting this through as an example of a defamatory comment. I dont like Shahidan too but he was never convicted of such a charge.I will not publish this kind of comments after this.Delete
By the same defination hitler stalin and all despots charges were defamatory as they were never convicted in any court ofDelete
law. What about mendela. He was convicted.
To help Annie:Delete
For example, this is NOT defamatory in law:
"The Kangar Sessions Court today gave a discharge not amounting to an acquittal to Arau MP Shahidan Kassim, who was accused of molesting an underage girl in his car six months ago.
Lawyer Zamri Ibrahim, representing Shahidan, said that Sessions Court judge Ainul Shahrin Mohamad made the decision after being informed that the prosecution did not want to proceed with the case due to the victim not wanting to be questioned, even in camera."
Because it is the report of a court proceeding.
There is nothing defamatory contained in any of the words quoted. It is an accurate report of a historical event.
If you think it's not defamatory, then go ahead and call people a child molester at your own blog, FB, twitter etc. Not here. By the way, I have a law degree from a UK uni, okay.Delete

Now PM 9 has done the same to Bersatu and also more or less left UMNO where it is in the Cabinet.
Except fireworks internally from these 2 parties to PM 9 within a month
KJ is the only shining hope in this cabinet.Articulate and detailed in his works. As for TZ, you are spot on. I don't think he go down to the banks and borrowers to find out the hiccups on this latest 6 months loan moratorium. We submitted on 7 July as stated as it is opt-in. On 12 July, I got an sms that my HP payment is late for one day! After calling the bank, they said no time to process and pay first.Final confirmation came only end of July.Another mortgage bank stated they need 3 working weeks to process and meanwhile , please pay. Then in early Aug, got official letter from another bank that interest outstanding and have to call up and they said system only updated the day before and that is more than 1 month after submission.I can't imagine if you are B40, working hard just to put food on the table, and you have to go thru all the hassles just to get a loan moratorium on your motorbike or car. I guess that speak so much of some of the BS we get from TZ.Umno is correct in that it should be opt out and mandatory and not the other way round.I was hoping for Mat Hassan or Johari and that would have been a refreshing choice and they would understand the rakyat much better.ReplyDelete
Aisay Annie...u said Sabri had no choice n had to keep d balance. This is BS. He cld have shown to all that he has heavy duty teloq n put in proper people in a reduced cabinet. He has d backing of d opposition so nothing to b afraid. Do you think this eunuch dates to act after 100 days? They failed for 17 mths and Sabri thinks that can now be successful in 100 days. This guy must be high on pot or turtle eggs....sigh!ReplyDelete

He acts always for them, not for Umno.
So UMNO was unhappy with the performance of the previous cabinet.ReplyDelete

Muhyiddin minor Cabinet reshuffle 2.0ReplyDelete
So is there any point in a new PM?
if PH was in power and doing the exact same thing these 17 months, there would have been constant attacks that PH was not helping a particular ethnic group, not doing enough, that particular group is suffering economically etc (all true, everyone is suffering and the B40 group is growing bigger)ReplyDelete
But because this is seen as a Govt which is ethnic group centric, and the people complaining are the one's in power now, no such complains being heard.
Good that the opposition does not play the same racial provacetuer and agitation games as the previous opposition
But you can see that they only agitate when out of power

DSIS's record-breaking triumphant rise from DPM to PM in a mere 45 days, suffice it to say that the support he receives are all around and is subject to certain conditions best known to themselves. That simply means he is bound hand and foot, leaving him no other options but to retain almost the same old faces. Perhaps, even the opposition has also played its fair share of the pick to negate someone from getting the advancement of DPM. Who knows the hand in glove? Well, the 100 days of meandering road is surely full of challenges and surprises, but the radar screen will henceforth be on our ace Health Minister to combat the pandemic war. Nonetheless, so far the newly line-up has been labelled all sorts of rotten names by the same PH people who had helped Umno restore to power and hence the new Cabinet. Whose fault then?ReplyDelete
What kind of Chinaman English is this???Delete
Bagaimana restore?
ReplyDelete
Why all the fuss kalau nombor nya tak ada. Beli la nombor. Sorry bergurau. Buang stress.
5. Aku pun tak setuju jugak kabinet sampai 69 orang ni. Tapi itu hak Perdana Menteri.
6. Kita tunggu PRU15 aje lah. Lawan sampai menang.
8. Drama belum tamat.

Can a different kapten change the ship's direction if the kandungan is sama.ReplyDelete
Actual if you look at management , yes this is possible
New managers come in all the time, and motivate the same staff with their dynamism etc.
In business or any other organisation, new leadershjip with same staff can change things, as the direction is set at the top.
Whether DSIS is such a person, I don;t know, political life so far does not indicate it but being PM is different, the buck stops with him.
However one thing will stand off, if staff are unhappy with new management, they will leave, if amangement is uhappy with staff, theya re given warnings multiple times and then let go.
I don't think DSIS has this power, neither it seems did Muhyiddin.
Actually cabinet reshuffle is normal, PM's do them all the time, every 2 years, reshuffle, promote, sack, this is also normal in business, but in Msia for some reason it is done rarely and there is very little renewal at Cabinet level.
DSIS, maybe should have started smaller but kept the proportions the same so he would have a bigger poolto draw upon in event of change.
Also only in Msia as far as I know is the cabinet - 69 memeber, bigger than the backbenchers of their own group, the remaining, 45, who are then put into various GLC and other bodies.

“Kenyataan Tony ‘terlalu awal’. Proses rundingan masih di peringkat awal untuk membuat keputusan.

With all these I don't see as an impossibility that UMNO + PPBM + PAS will come together before the next elections, to each protect their own self interest as long as UMNO contest the most seats
