Muhyiddin's better offer (updated)

Updates at 04:15, July 8

So, the Umno Supreme Council met last night and as reported there was a heated discussion on whether the party should pull out its support for the Perikatan government.

It actually dragged until past midnight.

After the meeting ended, Zahid issued a statement saying that Umno is pulling out its support for the government because of bla bla bla and demanded for Muhyiddin to step down and an interim prime minister be appointed.

He  said Umno will  also not support Anwar and Pakatan, which was rather funny because we all know if Umno does not support Perikatan, it practically opens the door for Anwar and Pakatan to take over the government.

Just wait for Parliament to sit and a no confidence motion be tabled against Muhyiddin. Of course Anwar and Pakatan will win as Umno sits in the middle pretending to be neutral.

But never mind that because the immediate problem with Zahid's statement would be; will the Umno MPs move to the opposition side of the parliament and the Umno ministers actually resign.

How many of them will do that?

The way I see it. I think many of them will just ignore Zahid's statement.

Then what? Sack them from the party?

How many Umno MPs left then?

I suspect Zahid will end up looking a bit silly at the end of this.

Oh, and I suspect the MPs and ministers of MCA and MIC will also stick with the government.

The Sarawakians too.

ORIGINAL POST

It turns out that Muhyiddin is offering an even better deal to Umno.

Ismail Sabri as future PM and Hishammuddin as his deputy.

That's even better than the rumour of Hishammuddin as PM and Azmin as his deputy that I discussed in my last post.

Ya, you all must have seen the announcement of their new appointments today.

As I expected, Muhyiddin is now offering Umno to take over the lead in Perikatan.

Without Zahid and the gang, of course.

For that, even the rumoured part about Azmin had been dropped.

Muhyiddin and his Pribumi people now just want to survive. They are cutting their losses.

They can't afford to have Umno pulling out of the government and let Pakatan, which they betrayed last year to take over Putrajaya again.

As I previously said, they would be dead meat if that happens.

Now they just want Umno people who are not hostile to them to be in charge.

It was reported that the Umno leaders will meet tonight to decide on their next move.

With the new appointments of Ismail Sabri and Hishammuddin, it would be harder for them to pull out support from the Perikatan government.

They are almost there now, why would they consider working under Anwar and put up with DAP.

The currently.hospitalised Muhyiddin may hand over power to Ismail Sabri anytime now.

Yet again, this could just be a Muhyiddin's ploy to stay in power.

Once the Umno's pulling out threat is over, he may just kick out Ismail Sabri and Hishammuddin and carry on as usual.

Muhyiddin is after all a very smart politician, despite many of you saying that he is stupid.

Whatever it is, I bet Ismail Sabri or Hishammuddin will tonight tell the other Umno leaders;

"Look guys, if you all pull out support from the government now, you will let Pakatan takes over and you have to be the balaci of Anwar and his DAP friends.

"But if you all just hang on for now, we can take over the whole government and Perikatan coalition soon."

And if it's actually Hishammuddin, who said that, I think he would add;

"Come on, you all know this is a good deal. After all, you have to admit, if later on, I become prime minister, I'll be a more handsome prime minister than Zahid."

  7. It isn't an ideal move (maybe ideal only to en.muhyiddin), but it is an option en.muhyiddin has acted on. Better or worse we don't know yet. Pas good with it. Mca good with it. One Sabah party is good with it. Let's see what umno does tonight. Ismail has thanked his president for his "anggok" (supposedly. We have not heard zahid say it).

Agong, after meeting party leaders, titah that Parliament should sit before Aug 1. Agong sangat tertib dengan titah baginda. And Parliament "has to" debate the Emergency matters that is before Darurat ends and for Parliament to determine better ways to manage Covid19 crisis toward reopening the country. 5 days sitting may not achieve much la but that's a (re)start. Let's see how it goes. Agong didn't give a hoot about politics. We watched our ex-dpm's body language after the meeting. And of lge's and of matsabu's. Many Malaysians can gauge Agong wishes no change of gomen.

umno has threatened leaving for sometime. But it hasn't happened. If it really is going to happen, umno dan juga ahli umno ni memang la haprak tak boleh diubat lagi. Dah tak apa lagi nak diharap dari umno ni kalau ini lah nanti keputusan lepas mesyuarat mkt. Ramai sedang menunggu ni. Reporter dah tunggu dari 6:30.

  8. But you were so gung-ho about Hishamuddin being the next PM and Assmin as deputy PM. No mention at all about Ismail Sabri in your previous post. And now you said it is even better. I think you are one of the type siding with the winner, whomever he or she is. Next post must be how remarkable ismail sabri is.I could have spoiled your draft,no?

  9. It depends really what Umno Supreme Council decides tonight. With the announcement by the PM few hours before that, it is basically a do or die decision by Umno/Zahid. It would be good strategy if Zahid offers to stand aside to face his court cases and let Tok Hassan come in as acting President and becomes Umno's nomination as DPM and another elected VP as Senior Minister. Thats would put the PM in a fix. Do one step at a time. Sabri and Hisham cannot object as they are not as senior as Tok Hassan and I think that would also please the grassroots and many non Umno rakyat too. Zahid should just back off for now and throw the ball back at Moo's court.

    1. Johan that actually makes sense. UmNo pulls out of PN, but resets with zahid making room for Tok Hassan. He is senior, well respected within umno ranks & grassroots. Both the court cluster & cabinet cluster steps away.

  10. Zahid’s moves way too predictable. No killer instinct. No sucker punch. No surprise ambush. He always readable and predictable. Always tell people his next moves. Always tell people his future plan. What he’s gonna do next. Paving way to his bigger and more powerful opponent to pre-empt him and thwart his plan.

When you are at war, you don’t tell your enemy your battle plan. Your strategy. When and where surprise attacks will coming. That is stupid. He’s no natural leader. Unfit to lead. Always rely on someone else or other entity to make a decision. Rely on PAU, rely on MT, rely on party meetings. Meeting after meeting, nothing happened. It’s still the same. Business as usual. Even what to eat at party meeting, he will let Umno’s MT to decide. He’s ever clueless and no personal conviction.

  11. Pi mai pi mai tang tu. It is just a plot twist with a surprise offshoot that actually makes not at all difference. Everything still looks good and intact. Say whatever you what to say, and to the full, PN survives and successfully shies away until another nitpicking episode then. Nonetheless, the two of a kind, Anwar and Zahid, will have to continue to ogle with each other for some other secretive ploys in the hope of ending up in an interdicted hook-up, someday. Anyway, feel good to see both liars' pants caught on fire.

  20. Its funny to see that the likes of Malaysiakini and Vibes going on overdrive in writing about what happened last nite together with the usual nauseating comments from the readers. They still dreaming Anwar can take over…goodness me, bila will they ever shoot their load from their mental masturbation, I also don’t know!!

Let’s sift what was decided ( if what was written is true)
    - UMNO retract their support
    - No working with Anwar ( basically PH)
    - They want an interim PM to happen now and that fella must be from UMNO

Ok , what if the PM were to later say…I will go a sort of medical leave for next 2-3 weeks, Sabri will take over to work together with the Senior Ministers and I will be back just before the 5 day Parliament sitting. KJ still head the vaccination thing and Parliament will occur for 5 days…after that we may request further emergency rule since the numbers have not yet reduced but with vaccination going on overdrive by Sept things should be better. Parliament may convene but it will be via online.

So UMNO gets his deputy PM, UMNO is on forefront to fight covid ( KJ vaccination ) , Finance Ministry has been dishing out a lot of dough for people, FELDA loans cancelled for 80% amount and the lockdown is not total country but goes by states and so states should now take care of its cases individually. 6 states already on Phase 2

    Any reason for not supporting?

    APA LAGI UMNO mau?

Its very obvious what was mentioned yesterday is just to save some people’s skin from court!

  21. Your fren locky is now supporting anwar..

Zahid is deperate not to go to jail...his actions are kind of expected..do or die

What I find most puzzling is Mat hassan's lack of actions. What does he expect to happen when umno pull out? If he wants an interim gov, who does he propose to head it and which party sits in it? I had thot this guy is pm material but he is only penghulu material.

  23. “There is no pressure from KL to leave GRS. We are using our autonomy to decide our fate,” he said.

At the federal level, however, Bung said he and Kimanis MP Datuk Mohamad Alamin would comply with the party’s decision to reject PN and demand Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin resign as the prime minister.

“We will abide by the party's decision. If not, we have to leave the party. But in Sabah, we are still in GRS,” he said.

    4. Maksudnya, Ahli Parlimen Kinabatangan & Ahli Parlimen Kimanis sudah tidak bersama Yidin X Telo Muhyiddin Yassin di Dewan Rakyat

    Peace no war ✌️CHEERS🍺

  25. Kenapa Selangor N9 dan Wilayah kes Covid 19 tinggi..!?

    Jawaban mudah : SABOTAJ

    Sekian.

  28. Kalau ada proven scientific correlation kes covid naik mencanak dengan siapa perdana Malaysia, kita pun nak tengok siapa bakal perdana menteri yang berani gerenti bila dia dilantik esok nya kes covid turun bawah 1000. Malaysia nak lantik pm baru ni. Cepat la janji. Siapa siapa..anwar ke, ku li ke, atok, ke
Kalau tak ada siapa berani gerenti, tolong berhenti cakap lancau.

Presiden dan timbalan presiden umno cakap umno tak mau berpehak dengan kegagalan perikatan nasional mentadbir Malaysia. Kita nak tanya apa pasal umno berpehak dengan 1mdb dan banyak seleweng lain semasa umno mentadbir Malaysia ?

umno tak sokong muhyiddin aje tapi umno sokong PN ! MALAYSIA NEGARA LAWAK JENAKA.
MELAYU umno bukan MUDAH LUPA aje, MELAYU umno CAKAP PUSING PUSING tapi nak rakyat percaya. PH pun jangan seronok pulak. PH pun belajar dengan umno. Lagi kuat pusing pusing cakap sampai rakyat tak percaya. Yang percaya ni sikit aje tapi suara kuat.

Atok they say third force, tak payah dengar la pasal krisis hari ni atok yang petik trigger. Lagi satu atok yang gagal asah bakat kepemimpinan pasal yang ada sekarang ni semua macam belakang parang. Bengap susah nak diajar. Bukan di pihak kerajaan aje pembangkang pun 2x5.
