Hishammuddin ahead of Zahid, maybe...

Almost everyone I know was caught off guard by DS Hishammuddin Hussein's appointment as Special Functions Minister yesterday.

All they could do was to speculate about it.

No one I know could say for sure what's really happening.

Maybe today there will be some proper explaination, but I don't think that would be enough to quell the rumours.

People nowadays simply refuse to believe in political announcements.

They always want to know what they believe was the real story behind such announcements.

Honestly, I'm also not sure what's happening.

And as the others, all I can do is to speculate.

I don't really like doing that but it's all I could offer a friend who asked my opinion about it yesterday evening.

These are what I told my friend,

- PM DS Najib Razak is promoting Hishammuddin ahead of his deputy DS Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

- Hishammuddin will play a more important role in his new capacity than Zahid in preparations for the next general election.

- General election is very near. Maybe between September and December.

- Hishammuddin will be Najib's successor...maybe later, if not now.

- Najib must had felt that Hishammuddin is a better bet for him than Zahid.

- Definitely not a very good news for Zahid's camp.

- Zahid will not protest this move. He can't, even if he wants to because he simply doesn't have the capacity. He's outgunned.

Then again, I'm merely speculating.

Told my friend, who is a hardcore Umno member that it's just coffee shop talk.

Just gossips.

I really got no special interest in it.

I don't mind both guys. Doesn't matter to me who between Zahid and Hishammuddin will be on top,

It's not going to change my life, anyway.

Well, that's about it.

Getting up for work.

Have a good day.

Satuuu Malaysia'

  4. politic is not black and white, what u say or do need to be properly crafted and so what muhidin did when he oppose najib was a suicidal action, zahid on the other hand was making the smart move.

    well

all of that are bullshits. u can play politic for some trivial stuff.

but when the country in danger, a leader should speaks the truth and act upon it.

since neither muhidin nor zahid did speak up to their boss when peoples money being stolen, neither is in my good book.

might as well change the whole government and take chance the new leadership. as far as im concern the whole party is beyond redemption.

  7. H2O is a good choice to take the realm from Najib. He carries himself well and is proficient in English. He comes from a lineage who were instrumental in the formation of UMNO. Right pedigree.

Can you imagine Zahid at world stage? I bet even he did not understand what he was talking about during his UN speech.

Furthermore, he is a 1st generation Jawanese immigrant so his loyalty to this country can be shaky. Even his daughter in law is from Jawa, pompuan di Malaysia dah habis ke yang dia nak pi cari menantu kat Jawa.

H2O as the PM and KJ as his DPM will be a good team. Well done Najib.

As for Zahid, he never had the backbone to make any stand, always opportunistic,so padan muka.

Najib should send him to Indonesia as an ambassodor so he feels at home and can be close to his besan.

    1. You think Jho Low and his Billionaire family members in DAP's Pulau Pinang, will vote for BN and UMNO-Najib?

Who knows... Jho Low might be DAP's agent... implanted by that so called 'stupid Pakatan brain' to smear UMNO's reputation and reap monetary gains for himself, at the same time.

It was Jho Low who once said that UMNO goons are master of spinning lies.

  10. This is a result when the so called leader are too afraid to contest in level playing field. They are afraid to contest or even have Pemilihan for President and Deputy President because they know in reality they have no supporter that honestly want to vote them for the post.

  11. The way I see it, Hishamuddin is being primed to take over as DPM if and when Zahid becomes PM.

I happen to believe the theory that there is a pact, sealed in Mecca during an umrah by Najib, Zahid and Hishammudin, about succession within UMNO.

  12. With the ineptness of the government over the last few years - letting the coffers run low - taxation on the unsuspecting rakyat is edging up.

Quality of live is deprecating before we reach middle income.

The world of finance is complex - the shenanigans done by those in power- largely in equatable by the Raykat as root cause to their increasingly spartan livelihoods.

The rural voters can be bought off in short term by study trips to Australia, umrah etc -- when the goodies pipeline slows done, assuming religion and race politicking do not rear its ugly head - there may be opportunities for me blood at the helm that has the Rakyats long term benefits as it's core mission.

  14. RPK probably reads your blog and all the associated comments, Annie.

From my comment on 14 April 2017 at 22:10, I said,

"The way I see it, Hishamuddin is being primed to take over as DPM if and when Zahid becomes PM."

Today, 18th April, RPK writes an article, "Mahatir is second fiddle to Kit Siang"

    http://www.malaysia-today.net/mahathir-is-second-fiddle-to-kit-siang/

    where he says,

"The 1-2-3 formula: Hishammuddin, the next Deputy Prime Minister when Zahid takes over as Prime Minister

What Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak was trying to achieve is to establish the line of succession. Najib’s message is: after him comes Ahmad Zahid Hamidi followed by Hishammuddin."

Must be very gratifying to you that RPK has an interest in what you write.
