Apparently, a lot of Pakatan people are anxious about the possibility of Najib getting a speacial treatment in prison that FMT has to come out with this story today,
No special treatment for Najib, says prisons department
excerpts;
In a Facebook post today, the department said: “Stop the spread of fake information.” Accompanying the post was a picture of a clean, spacious, nicely equipped room with IKEA-like shelves and a table.
Social media has been flooded with comments about Najib’s potential VIP treatment in jail since the Federal Court upheld his conviction and sentence in the SRC International case.
Seriously, I think the FMT story was not very helpful in easing the worries of the Pakatan people as it's actually quite vague.
Okay, what is this no special treatment really means?
I goggle around a bit and found this Bernama report which was published by Astro Awani in 2015;
Anwar treated like any other convicted prisoner
excerpts;
Well, I guess Najib is now getting about the same treatment as Anwar back then.
Guess, that's not too bad except that Najib is now quite a bit older than Anwar when the latter went to prison.
He would nonetheless probably suffer a bit more than Anwar because of that.
Considering the length of his sentence and age, Najib, as I speculated in my last post may be ending his life in prison.
You all Pakatan people satisfied with that or not?
Or would you all want the Parliamentary Select Committee to check and report on how Najib is being treated in prison to ensure he really suffers there?
How about setting up a royal commission of inquiry to do that?
Can also. I think Ismail Sabri's administration would accommodate those.
Well, tomorrow you all will also get to see Najib attending his other 1MDB related trials.
By right the guy would be in prison clothings and handcuffed when they bring him to the court.
I'm sure you all will be happy to see that, right?
Yay. Power to you Pakatan people.
How about you all Umno and non-Pakatan-supporting people? You all okay or not about all these?
Eh, don't dwell too much on this, okay.
You all just focus on GE15.
As the Pakatan people used to say "Rakyat Hakim Negara".
Definitely Najib will suffer when you lose freedom to do as you please. All your action is controlled by prison guards. Confinement and solitary is challenging. Worst for BN who has loss their general. Only smart person in BN is najib. Smart enough to plan to steal millions but not smart enough to get away without it. I think the biggest loser would be umno. Now without a strong leader.
ReplyDeleteWhat are u still harping on about Annie ooiiii??? Move on lah.. due process was followed.
ReplyDeleteHe gambled by changing lawyer at the 11th hr and lost. If he is given another 2mon, just imagine how it will set a precedent for all the hi profile cases that follows. It makes absolutely no difference to the marhaens one way or another.
annie ni memang penyokong totok UMNO and najib... pemakan dedak lah katakan...
ReplyDeleteThere was no hooliganism at all when Najib was sent to Kajang yesterday; unlike those of the drama queen anwar back then...Reforbasi... Yuck!
ReplyDeleteYou should spend less time posting stupid comments online, and more time saving up to repay us all back for the damage your pink-lipped penyamun idol did to our economy and global reputation:

Both the hooliganism and billion stealing are universal truth. Check your facts and no one should deny!!
DeleteJKOM CONTROL TO ANNIE: Don't mention the fact that Anwar was denied bail, okay?
ReplyDeleteYet BossKurap was allowed to cause traffic jams as he pleased:

Shhhhhhhh! Must not expose your double standards, okay?
Some 60 years after independent, 14th general elections had ushered in a change of government for the first time. Not just at federal level, but also at state level. Albeit for a short period as a result of political manoeuvring by the old fox but democratic change of government did taking place. For the first time in history. And now, a former prime minister has been charged in court, tried, found guilty and jailed by the chief justice. Free from interference from any party. But not without endless pressure and protracted intimidation though. Kudos to the judges for persevere and stood the ground till the very end.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that our democratic institutions are well functioning and actually working. They really do. Despite all the accusations of the opposite. Name one country in Asia who has jailed their former prime minister or president for breaking the country’s laws? Other than Taiwan and South Korea? Yillekkk..
It just showed we are truly democratic nation now with well functioning democratic institution. We are no longer 3rd world country. Or under developed country. Can we say the same about our neighbours? Even draconian law such as ISA with its detention without trial, still retained and being use to intimidate political opponents. Political opponents being sued into bankruptcy and disqualified from contesting an election. Is that a trait of democratic nation? We have come a long way and now become a country which practices a true example parliamentary democracy and now on par with the truly democratic countries in western world.
You are correct about Stinkapore.
DeleteBut don't get too excited about the Najib case.
Let's recall the Riza Aziz, Ku Nan, Mat Maslan and Musa Aman cases.
Allowed to escape justice and keep either all their loot, or most of it.
So in their case, crime DID pay.
In most cases, thanks to the A-G who is not much better than pandi in some ways.
We are still 3rd world in our justice system.
Thailand -in exile, Myammar - in prison, Indonesia - Suharto - almost, Phillippines - Joseph Estrada - pardoned, Japan - Tanaka Kakuei
DeleteYou are sounding more and more like a mini RPK, same MO, same style of linking unrelated things, bringing bits and pieces from here and there as if it is all related, then making a thesis out of it.
ReplyDeleteA bit sad really
Anonymous24 August 2022 at 16:43.....not quite. RPK gets RM40,000 in stolen 1MDB money per post, Annie gets....RM4.
DeleteWalau pun berbakti seribu tahun kalau mencuri duit rakyat apa guna nya
ReplyDeleteWalau pun berkerja seribu tahun kalau tak
Amanah apa guna nya
Walau pun derma berjuta2 seribu tahun dengan duit haram apa guna nya.
Waĺau hidup seribu tahun kau tak bertaubat apa guna nya
and your point is, annie ?
ReplyDeleteI don't care whether you are a post paid or prepaid umno/bn/najib cyber trooper but l still enjoy engaging in a discourse with some intellectual content. Your piece is very umnonised that you are almost at par with tajuddin pasir salak. For whatever it's worth have some decency to argue factfully for the pleasure of exchange of thoughts though from different political ideology. It's more fun to engage in an intellectual discourse than being too umnoing in your arguments.
