Meal with a pork-eating friend

I ate here the other day

because my friend wanted to eat this

I'm okay with it because I'm used to eating with my friends who were having pork.

After all, there was this Malay guy who was selling nasi lemak in front of the restaurant.  The guy's customers may use different sets of plates, forks and spoons because of the halal requirements.

There were all sort of sambal to go with the nasi lemak. I took sambal kerang.

Really nice.

Okay, the Coke was a bit out of place. But I really was feeling like having it at that time.

Sorry guys, I was really busy the past few days and had no time to keep up with current issues, thus this inconsequential post.

I'll write on something more worthwhile later after I have checked out what's been happening. Maybe tomorrow.

Cheers.

  1. Where is your outrage as to what happened in Sri Lanka? Do you only get wet and horny when the victims are just Moslems?

This goes to show you are a facist and a very sick person. There is no need to whitewash by showing you are eating in pork serving eatery when in reality your little Green Manual advocates the killings of Kafirs.

Are you going to wear a cross to show solidarity with the Christians?

Is The New Zealand Prime Minister going finally come of her hiding to show solidarity with the Christians like she did the Moslems?

You are just a bigoted fking sicko. Do you know why rest of world looks the other side when something happens to Moslems, it is because of sick b**stards like YOU.

  2. This is normal in Sarawak.I used to eat roti Canai while my Chinese friends were eating bakkuteh. During Chinese year,I used to visit my Chinese friend. They used to serve halal foods on separate dishes. If you want to learn about integration, you should go to Sarawak and Sabah.

    1. Anon 17:17 If a Hindu goes to a Muslim house, will they serve their guests on different plates since Muslims eat beef and Hindu doesn’t? What a hypocritical statement.......What a sense of entitlement.

    2. Not a sense of entitlement. To Muslims; pig/pork is considered dirty and we have to clean our selves and any utensils if any part of our body or utensils were in contact with pig/pork.
As far that I know Hindu respected cow and they got no problem to cleanse themselves if they were in contact with cow.

If Hindu friend came to my house; I will avoid serving beef.

“We go to Tamil (Indian) shops. Why? Because this our community,”

  7. I saw a lot of such kopitiams like you mentioned in Bentong which makes a lot of sense since Bentong has a sizeable number of Chinese population. Bentong too right now famous for its lemang Pak Ali or something. I saw the place once on my way to Raub and it was choked with people. I was thinking there’s no way I could get a table should I made a pit stop there.

Talking about Bentong, I feel sorry for Bentong folks that gomen omitted ECRL station in Bentong. Yup, a station Liow Tiong Lai fighting tooh and nail to make a reality so there will be economic spill overs in Bentong for the benefit of Bentong folks is now gone.

ECRL not even running through Bentong to be exact. They get rid of Liow Tiong Lai hoping for things get better for them. A guy who had done so much for Bentong. Now the opposite happened. Bentong is back to bygone old days. Bereft of any real economic activity and development.

    1. Economic development must make sense, economically, socially, environmentally. IMO, a station in bentong will eventually lead to the annihilation of the titiwangsa flora & fauna. I thot their new mp is an environmentalist, no?

Sorry, no sympathy. Bentong folks can focus on agro tourism & export of durian to china.
