Don't ever kick a policeman again.

It's very unfortunate that I have to start this blog amidst the unfolding tragedy in Sabah.

My prayers were for the families of our policemen who had sacrificed their life for this country and those who are manning their post at Lahat Datu, Semporna and the surrounding area.

Hopefully the authorities will manage to solve the crisis without incurring any more loss of lives, especially among our security personnel.

I'm also hopefull for the politicians not to try gain any mileage from the crisis. We can't be divided in the face of such a crisis which threaten the country's security and affect everyone irrespective of political affiliation.

As for the widows and children of our fallen heroes, the rest of us Malaysians must make sure they are well taken care of.

We must not let their sacrifices be in vain.

From now on, Malaysians, especially the younger generation must remember that the peace and prosperity that they enjoyed and all these while took for granted do not come free.

Those luxuries that they enjoyed were paid with the blood and lives of our security personnel. They must respect and appreciate those sacrifices.

I'm hopeful that after the tragedy in Sabah which so far had costs us the lives of eight of our brave policemen, we will learn something from it and there will be no more blatant running down of our men in blue or youths doing things like this to a policeman -
