Arrogance and handsomeness

Things seem to be slowing down a bit yesterday and maybe today too.

Surprisingly, there were not much coming out of the meeting between Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and the top bloggers on Friday.

Guess, it was supposed to be a private close door meeting.

The pro-Najib side also seem to be shifting their tactic from attacking Dr Mahathir heads on, to instead reminding pro-establishment people of the threat of "real enemies" such as these:

Biaq pi jam orang ... JAM OMEGA hilang tu dimana, Kak Wan?

PM NAJIB DISERANG LAGI !

Why not RCI on May 13 1969, Kit Siang?

Well, sometimes they were not very smart at it, such as this,

RAKYAT malaysia ...cermin-cerminlah diri kita

Guys, you don't go around insulting those whose support you needed.

Telling people that it's all their own fault bad things happened in this country, is plain stupid.

The people will just give you the middle finger, okay.

But that's probably the biggest problem with Umno/BN people.

They so easily get arrogant whenever they get a little bit of power.

I have seen it, over and over again.

Two bits Umno youth division chief trying to demand this and that from civil servants.

Half-baked editor of an almost dead pro-BN newspaper behaving as if he has the power of life and death over journalists.

Macai of useless Umno MB ordering people at government agencies to give preferences to their contract applications.

Many others lah.

Well, never mind....I'm not going to give them free advice anymore on how to handle such stupidities.

Pegi tanya Ku Nan la macam mana nak kurangkan ke angkuhan tu.

He will probably says,

"Mana ada kita orang angkuh. Awak tu yang angkuh yang tuduh kita orang angkuh. Cermin diri awak tu!"

Anyway, since I am at it, let me prove to you that handsomeness does matter when it comes to choosing  a leader.

So many of you disagreed with me on this.

Okay, let's say your life depends on it, who will you choose between these two;

I think KJ wins.

He got really sexy eyes, okay :-)

He is also not so arrogant anymore like last time.

What does Ku Nan has, eh?

Okay, that's all for today.

Need to drive my grandma to town now. She wants to buy some groceries.

Driving back to KL tonight.

Ciao.

  2. Betul kata Annie.

  6. Aztually Anne, I am very dissapointed with the UMNO bloggers that are probably "bangang" or must have a rea$on or rea$on$ to support najib whole heartedly now. During the time when they accused the sleepy Pak Lah was not a PM material, the same bloggers seems to listen to what the rakyat was feeling, now suddenly in order to protect najib who i think has the lowest popularity among all the PM and who the rakyat don't trust anymore, these same bloggers are putting the rakyat to blame. Now they won't listen to rakyat anymore, rakyat are at fault for their miserable, stinking life. Najib administration are in no way contribute to that. Let the national debt level go sky high with purchase of unnecessary jets and refubishment of Seri Perdana or more payment to Consultants or create more funds to invest in crap deals (think 1MBD, FGV, pelaburan MARA etc). These bloggers are a shame to their mothers.

  7. WAS LEE KUAN YEW NUTS?

Former Malaysian prime minister Mahathir Mohamad said Singapore has no racial issue ("Lee Kuan Yew was 'kiasu', says Mahathir"; Sunday). Yes, it is under control now. Mr Lee Kuan Yew was determined to solve it with a country-first approach.

After Singapore's independence, the Singapore Chinese business chamber approached him to ask that he make Chinese the national language and official medium of instruction.

Mr Lee could have agreed, to gain the support of the 75 per cent of Singaporeans who were Chinese.

But he turned it down for Singapore's competitiveness. He implemented meritocracy, regardless of race.

    1. Yes, but after the 80's in which he retired the 10 or more original PAP top men including the illustrious Dr. Goh Keng Swee, Dr. Toh Chin Chye, Mr. Rajaratnam, Mr. E. W. Barker, Encik Ahmad Mattar ... and replaced it with his 2nd gen cadres Singapore culture has transformed into an "elitist meritocracy" complete with two giant casinos in the "little red dot", the most expensive private transport, public housing and public health care in the world, and the lowest salaries among first world countries.

You DAP fellas die-hard PAP fans, know that today's facade does not bear the soul of the original People's Action Party

  8. According to Annie's poll so far:

    56% of voters were sick of politics, they are disappointed with both Gov and Oppo;

Oppo supporters edged out Gov supporters by a thin 4%.

GE14's result will be anyone's guess.

But whichever way it goes, the Malaysian economy seems to be heading further south - the exception being Johor, because of the Singapore effect as told by Tuanku.

  11. Annie i had mentioned in a few of my past comments that UMNO is synonym with arrogance and you had just " hammered the final nail in the coffin". Looking at the shoddy tactics used by the pro-UMNO bloggers to divert the attention from current issues by bringing up issues that does not make sense,it further attests that all the good bloggers have dumped UMNO and they are now left with the Pasar Malam type bloggers.

  13. Bila gst dilaksanakan, rakyat komplen barang-barang makin mahal, reaksi menteri adalah: "peniaga tak patut naikkan harga barang.." dan "para peniaga tidak seharusnya menaikkan harga barang..". Pastu abis.
Macam rumah baru lepas kena rompak. Buat polis report. Pastu pegawai polis buat statement "pencuri tidak sepatutnya masuk mencuri rumah saudara.."

  15. If it is choosing between two evils, I would choose "sexy eyes" over "blubber mouth". Since the government approved of DBKL collecting more tax from property owners via sky-high assessment rates without any real improvement in government services ... I'm very unhappy.
