KL and a beautiful old song

I'm going back to KL tomorrow.

Really don't feel like it.

But I have to.

Packing now.

No mood or time to write properly.

For now, I just want to share this song by my father's favourite Indonesian singer of all time, the late Lilis Suryani,

My father said his first true love looked like her.

Whatever.

Okay, I will write properly again after I'm in KL.

Take care

  1. A bit cool off after a high beat tempo in your last 1MDB posting.

1MDB story still a hot seller. I guess.

Keep up studying netizens sentiment. Its useful for all camps.

    Cheers

  3. Annie,

Your last post got 87 comments.

The chubby Chinese psycho's last post got (drumroll)...4 comments.

    Whoopee.

    Her blog is dying.

    Shame.

Just because you can say "ummah" and "nawaitu", people can still sense an insincere dedak-eating fraud.

And going even more psycho doesn't seem to be working.

    (Flaming glitter graphics, anyone?)

What a sad, miserable excuse for a human being.

    2. And I bet all 4 comments were hers alone. She should be paid pro-rata.

Annie, are you taking up a job in KL?

      Good luck and keep blogging.

  4. Annie,

By the logic of the guy in Perak who wants to demolish the eagle in Langkawi, is the Tugu Negara also haram?

We are still waiting for a ruling from Ustazah Blobby Porkfat (the Founder of Umno, Mursyidul Am of PAS, Saviour of the Malays, Malaysiakini communist, and fat, ugly "char siew pau" chomper of the century.)

    Cepat sikit o, Blobby.

    Manyaaaa lambaaa la lu.

    3. Rakyt kena berjaga-jaga.
Mungkin dia tengah cari-jalan nak jual sebahagian kecil tanah sekitar Tugu Negara tu kepada pemaju. Kemungkinan besar dibahagian paling hujung, jauh dan terpencil. Luas tanah 'primeland' tu.

  5. "Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak launched the Taman Tugu project yesterday, which will see sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional foot RM500 million of the bill.

Khairil expressed concern that the project would end up like other failed projects in the capital, citing the orchard park project at Jalan Bellamy.

He pointed out the 2012 auditor-general's report had highlighted problems and financial issues concerning the project."

Look for the MEGA SONGLAP PROJECTS in the next 6-8 months.

That is where the mark-up will be stolen and used for GE14 dedak.

    Keep an eye out.

The Chinese also bidding for Sing rail link.

  7. "KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 5 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is an honest leader who has consistently practised accountability and transparency in carrying out his official duties, Umno minister Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz said.

The same, Nazri added, cannot be said of former PM Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

“We all stand by him (Najib), I believe in him, and that he’s not capable of doing all those things that has been alleged.

“The RM2.6 billion issue for example, he has explained where the money is from and how much he used and for what purpose,” Nazri told Malay Mail Online in an interview."

  10. Annie,

Duit pencen dah lambat masuk. Tak macam dulu. Tepat haribulan, mesti dlm akaun. Sekarang, rasanya macam kerajaan tiada duit.

  11. 1. Government should work for people not for business
    2. Look at social democrats like Norway, Finland, Germany, France, Sweden. They succeed in striking balance between welfare and business.
    4. We want free education mean make PTPTN into a scholarship or Biasiswa Anak Negara (BAKA)
    5. I say rich pay more taxes but didn't deny their usage of public service. We are paying taxes but the issue not paying taxes or evasion but Msia government spend so much into business as business grants, tax holiday, etc. Government has no business in business except regulating labour, environment and equal competition not fund them. People are wiling pay high taxes when they see its coming back to them (like an investment). The frustration is Msia overall pay 40% taxes (inclusive GST, car tax, vice tax, income etc). yet no substantial improvement in quality of life past decade. We are stagnant.
In case of taxes, if you analyse properly, higher taxes never result in higher business activities but higher spending does. consumption creates demand creates business to expand creates job. we are seeing cycle in wrong direction. Taxes is mean of redistribution wealth, higher wages higher share. I am not against private business but why sacrifice people basic life need like food, education health, housing (which are all out of mean of most Msia) but the top 1% enjoys business subsidies and increase in wealth but jobs creation is stagnant.
