Testing Dr Mahathir's prediction - Part 2 (updated)

UPDATES

There's been a surge in the number of votes for BN since the last one hour.

It's 12.45 am as I'm updating this.

An hour before that there were less than 20 votes for BN.

I'm expecting votes for BN to surpass the number of those who planned to refrain from voting either BN or Pakatan by the time you all read this.

Guess the pro-BN cyberspace people are doing their job after all.

At least, that's something.

ORIGINAL POST

About two months ago I was

Testing Dr Mahathir's prediction

that Barisan Nasional, led by PM DS Najib Razak is going to lose the next general election.

Here is the

Outcome

which indicates that Dr Mahathir could be right.

The result of the poll is still on the top right corner of this webpage.

Many things had happened since then.

Among others, the PM has mounted a spirited fight back against Dr Mahathir.

In his latest blog post,

What Motivates Tun Mahathir’s Attacks?

Najib said,

Tun is now saying that BN will lose the next general election, but since when did any one individual have the right to speak for the entire voting public?

Maybe he is right.

So, I'm doing exactly the same poll again for readers of this blog to check the mood on the ground .

Who knows, maybe you all have changed your mind since the first poll.

I hope you all can participate so that we may get some idea of what it's going to be if things continue as it is now.

Everyone may vote only once (unless maybe you use more than one IP address, which I hope you won't).

The poll is going to run for a week like last time.

You may cast your vote on the very top right corner of this webpage.

Thank you.

  2. Let’s give Annie the benefit of the doubt. Assuming that she is right that Najib is not a thief, then why provide inconsistent answers and lie on 1 MDB. Assuming that he did not lie but it was the management of 1MDB that provided the wrong information, then why not he sack them? In any case, it also shows that Najib is pure incompetent that he did not ascertain the truth before providing the answer. Now Najib is saying that Tun wants him to resign and 1MDB is just an excuse? Did he consult the Bomoh Kelapa or what to know Tun’s motive? When pressed for answers on 1MDB,Najib said to wait until AG and PAC report but now he is attacking Tun saying Tun is wrong. How come? There is only one way that he can pre-empt Tun is wrong is that the AG & PAC report will be published on how Najib wants it to be. So for those who is eagerly waiting for those reports, just forget it as we all know what is the outcome. The only way is to get an independent audit. But will a thief as the police to investigate? Obviously no if the thief is the big boss of the police.

After making RM 42b missing in thin-air, he had spent billions of ringgit (if not mistaken RM 7 b) to hire foreign consultants to enhance his image. And since it did not worked, he had now hired someone who had failed marriage not once but twice to enhance his image. And worst still the strategy is also now backfiring Najib. And Shahidan Kasim will again fool the rakyat by announcing in Parliament that LKW os not paid any fees, just like Paul Stalden.

Since Najib had assumed premiership, there were endless disasters to the country. Now the economy is going down the drain, ringgit has fallen badly, petrol prices were increased while strangely world oil price is dropping, toll to be increased and prices of goods had gone up leaving the poor poorer. No amount of publicity or consultants can redeemed his battered image which is now akin to Sampah. Now it has become Najis. His greediness(and his fat wife) is taking the country to a deplorable state and the rakyat will be the victims. In the end, UMNO will be history just because of one idiot like him.

    3. Najib is a lame duck. Either direct or indirectly he is involved in 1 MDB scandal. I agreed with TMJ, how could Najib answer all the wrong doing of this fiasco if he himself is one of the key person? He will not confess and stay put with his life.

“I think he should keep out of politics, otherwise he may be subjected to the same rule. We will whack him,” Nazri was quoted as saying.

Johor is a rich state. Johor have more than you can see. What do you have in Perak? You have international airport? Seaport? What do you produce? You have hundreds of thousand visitors crossing your border from overseas?

Same goes to Pahang, what can you do with so many elephants? Turn Pahang into Ivory Coast?

Non Johor Melayu better be careful when you comment on Johor.

As for Nazri Aziz, who's that Sabahan Cina who owns the car again? Who's that law student who got WHACKED and die?

You now want to whack WHO? Whack WHO again?

  8. Just watched TV3's daily suck up to bash Proton taxis. To those taxi drivers, so, if they kutuk Proton, can they afford Honda or Toyota?

Like it or no, Proton and Perodua cars were made cheap for most average income Malaysians. I, too, only can afford Proton. I'm not rich like Umno and minister fat cats who have Mercs, Beemers etc.

Najib and his so called advisers think by whacking Proton and other things Tun M did will somehow miraculously make Malaysians swallow their 1MDB spin?

    Do they think us stupid?

NST has become a north korean-type kiss ass rag, pages of praising Najib; daily dose of Salleh Said Keruak, Tunku Aziz or that Kita nonentity whacking Tun and daily coloured pix of Big Hair doing GOOD DEEDS.

At least pix of the FLOM interesting because I pore over her jewellery and try to guess brand.

The NST is so crappy, I actually read the Star now to check out 1MDb news. That's how low the NST has sunk under Jalil, who used to work for Reuters.

Anyway, najib seems very subdued since his cabut from PWTC stint. Haven't seen him thumping and gesticulating on the news. Strain of acting like a warrior must be getting to him.

And did that Nazri just threaten TM johor? Wohohoho!!!

  9. Najib kata dia menolak permintaan Tun Mahathir suapaya beliau meletak jawatan sdalah kerana beliau dipilih rakyat secara demokratik.... Hahahah tu bukan lah alasan kenapa dia enggan meletak jawatan. Sebenarnya dia tgh karan sebab ada polis escort kereta dia, ada bodyguard ikut tepi kereta dia dgn motor. Ada lagi bodyguard dok keliling dia bila dia berjalan, budget PMO berbilion setahun. Boleh pakai jet kerajaan dan paling penting dia rasa syok sebab Ramai dok kipas dia. Dia rasa mcm raja.

  10. Today, I attended a kenduri kahwin at a relative's house and stayed around for nearly 6 hours. All the while, I played the instigator role. At most of the tables, after some compulsory chit-chat, I threw Najib's name to the conversation. There were a lot of curses and most of them want to be heard. They don't like Najib (sounds nicer than saying they hated Najib). That was the general consensus.

At the same time, most of them despise DAP. Then things start to get complicated. For those who had voted for BN, they are confused as to whom should they vote if an election is called now. PKR supporters don't face such dilemma. So does PAS supporters except when it comes to voting for a DAP candidate.

Unless Najib could install fear to the Malays with the prospect of a coalition that consist DAP, helming the nation, there would most probably be a lower voter turnout amongst the UMNO friendly Malays. This will work well in favour of PR. Other than scaring the voters, UMNO/BN could try to kick out Najib if they still harbors the desire to continue leading the nation.

Please take note that the above consensus does not reflect how the whole nation felt right now. These are the views of some kampung folks (numbering between 40 ~ 50 persons) in Johor (mostly males with their age ranging from 30's and above. The younger generation don't give a sh*t about voting) at a kenduri kahwin. Subject discussed are Rosmah, GST, BR1M (orang bagi kita ambil je la....), 1MDB (menatang apa tu??) and last but not least, about Najib himself.

As-Salam All.., I think it was DSN dat encourage the TMJ indirectly to comment as he had stated the Sultan of Pahang had given him a full support., so if d Sultan of Pahang can voice his support publicly ( i dun remember where i read it) so its not wrong for d TMJ to voice out his discontent.., heheh.., wat else can I say..,

  13. Ringgit is sliding against other Asean currencies. Something is wrong.

We are entering recession and you can keep your head in the sand and don't believe Najib has nothing to do with it. But our economy health does not lie. The rakyat will suffer. 1MDB is killing our investor sentiment. Malaysian government cannot be trusted. That was uttered by one of the senior banker in Singapore after the whole Javace and UBG deal fell through. You need more evidence? Try talking to Tan Sri Azman Hashim from Ambank. Why did they sell down 1MDB bonds at a loss? Bucks stop at Najib. Be a man. Take the bloody responsibility. Ni tidak tai chi here and there. Yang disoal, lain yg dia jawab. Either he doesn't know (which I doubt) or he has a lot of shit to hide.

    He needs to step down.
