Passenger 72

I went through the list of those onboard the missing MH370 and my heart went very still when I saw the name of Passenger 72.

Li Jie of China, 27 years old.

I was informed earlier that onboard the missing flight was a group of Chinese artistes.

My favorite classical guitar player is Li Jie.

I hope Passenger 72 is not her.

I do not know how to check whether it's her. If any of the readers of this blog knows how I may find this out, please leave a comment. I will appreciate it very much.

I am putting Li Jie's video here in dedication of those onboard the missing flight MH370 and their loved ones,



Li Jie was only 14 when she recorded that performance. She is now the same age as the Li Jie onboard the missing plane...if that lady is not herself.

    Annie, could your info be wrong? According to Wikipedia, Li Jie is 32-33 years old. Or perhaps it's a different Li Jie?

      Because it's Wikipedia, I'm not 100 per cent sure. She's about that age though.

    I just knew a couple of hours ago that Passenger 111, an engineer, was related to my sister-in-law, her nephew.

    Annie.. I am afraid passenger 72 is indeed Li Jie. Just heard over TV3 berita terkini few minutes ago.. mentioning about the family members of an artist among those group of people flown by MAS from Beijing to KLIA

    Are you sure Annie? There's no news , no write up on this, nothing from China press too. I know of Li Jie from a concert violinist friend and have listened to her concert recordings and videos. I really hope its not her.
