Things are not so bad

My mother and most of her side of the family are in Singapore now celebrating the Mid-Autumn festival.

I'm supposed to be there too but can't make it because of my ailment.

I'm still wearing this koyok my mother bought me when she was in Japan last year.

It's quite good. Very warm for the aching parts of my body.

Anyway, I need to save my energy for work.

Well, it's a bit silly to celebrate mid-autumn when we have no such season here, but what the heck, it's fun to be with the family, have big makan, play mahjong etc.

My mother's side of the family celebrate almost everything they feel worth celebrating.

My father on the other hand is the opposite of all that.

He hardly celebrates anything.

Not even his birthday.

He doesn't even seems too enthusiastic to celebrate Raya.

That's just the way he is, being brought up in a quite poor family.

Celebrations are luxuries and he's simply not used to them.

Anyway, I think I prefer the way of my mother's family.

Much happier.

It's good that we can still celebrate things like the mid-autumn festival.

It reminds us that things are not so bad and there are still reasons to count our blessings.

Better than those in other places where people have no luxury to celebrate anything.

War, famine, natural disasters, etc....well, at least we don't have those nasty things here.

To learn more about mid-autumn festival, you can watch this video,

Okay, I need to get ready now for an important dinner tonight.

Have a good weekend guys.

    3. Najib not alleged to have committed any criminal wrongdoing, Mr. AG?

At page 55 of the DOJ Complaint  : “Once funds were transferred from Aabar-BVI to Blackstone, they were used to make payments to Qubaisi and Husseiny, who served as officers of both Aabar and Aabar-BVI, to Malaysian Official 1 and 1MDB Officer 3. The distribution of these funds from the Blackstone account for the personal benefit of officers involved in the bond deal further evidences a misappropriation of public funds and the diversion of the bond proceeds from their intended purpose”.

At page 60 of the DOJ Complaint : “Blackstone was used as an intermediary to obscure the fact that 1MDB bond proceeds were being sent from Aabar-BVI-of which Qubaisi and Husseiny were directors, to accounts that were beneficially owned by Qubaisi, Husseiny, Malaysian Official 1, and 1MDB Officer 3. The funds sent to accounts belonging to Qubaisi, Husseiny, Malaysian Official 1, and 1MDB Officer 3, as described above, were unlawfully  misappropriated from 1MDB and /or IPIC”.

Unlawfully misappropriated aka theft, learned AG.

Receiving stolen property to your own benefit.

I give you a flag to wave on National Day. Good manners prescribes you accept graciously with an expression of gratitude.

I bank in US$20m into your bank account, Mr AG. One in your position and of your standing and integrity must immediately lodge a report with MACC, lest it be said that you were partaking of some illegal self-enrichment.

Or do you just keep it and say, no criminal wrongdoing?

    4. Wikipedia says the mid-autumn festival is an occasion which celebrates three fundamental concepts allied to one another:

GATHERING: such as family and friends coming together, or harvesting crops for the festival. It's said the moon is the brightest and roundest on this day which means family reunion.

THANKSGIVING: to give thanks for the harvest, or for harmonious relationships.

PROPITIATION: ie. asking for conceptual or material satisfaction, such as for babies, a spouse, beauty, longevity, or for a good future.

Translated into Malay these 3 elements are 1) AHLI BERJEMAAH 2) MAJLIS KESYUKURAN & 3) PEMOHONAN HAJAT .... not too different from us Malays in our good old culture.

I have tried it a few times - the planning, organising, the cooking, the get-together, the socialising, blah blah blah.

I know that some people just love all that hustle and bustle but it's not my scene.

But I do try to be polite and join in when there is an event on - it makes others happy.

  5. Yes, Annie things are not so bad.

Let us Malays ask ourselves, frankly does it matter to us all the issues in the country.

We are virtually assured of a job. See it is easier for us to get a job in the government service. Loans? There are so many loan schemes to assist us. Education? Unlike other races we don't have to save for our children's education. The government provides us with so many opportunities where we can get qualification with no outlay. Buying a house? We are privileged to get a discount and even a millionaire also can get discount.

So even if Najib and Rosmah has siphoned off money and which I honestly believe they did not, we Malays are really ok.

Don't make issue with GST and rising cost, we Malays in the end are better off. My family has no problem and can't see why Malays have problem.

  6. Annie,

Your best friend is getting funnier day by day.

(If you're eating any mooncake now, put it down because you'll drop it from laughing.)

Here is a classic sentence from Ustazah Blobby Porkfat, the Founder of Umno, Mursyidul Am of PAS, Saviour Of The Malays, Malaysiakini communist, and fat, ugly "char siew pau" chomper of the century:

"Like the song title, saudara-saudara PAS dan saudara-saudara Umno semeangnya ada banyak ‘persamaan’ sesama umat Islam. Dan dua-dua pun Melayu, kan."

Well, I'm sure they enjoy being given patronising advice from an elderly Chinese auntie who got on the wrong side of Perkasa…for whacking the Malays and Islam. So, so sad. (I'm sure Blobby will squeal "oh, I was young and naive then!". But you weren't; you were already middle-aged. Nice try, Blobs.)

So that's what she's been reduced to: a laughing stock.

Do the 49% fake Canadian bots have a sense of humour?

    Guess not.

Maybe the walruses do, as they gaze in wonder at a creature actually heavier than they are.

    Amazing.

  7. Annie,

The YDPA had more than one hour and 15 mins chat with Tun.

I think it's highly positive. He must have learned a lot.

The gomen has disrespected the Rulers very highly, in 2 ways:

    a) They have ignored the Rulers' request to solve the 1MDB issue fully. In case we are unclear, "solve" does not mean "cover-up all local investigations". The crude way that sabotage, lying, intimidation, sacking, hiding witnesses, deleting evidence, and more was used just makes it even worse. It is already becoming crystal clear around the world that the Bugis pirate has been indulging in a level of kleptocracy that is among the worst ever seen. This has nothing to do with Islamic values.

    b) They have ignored the Rulers' request to make changes to the NSC Bill. By right, any matter directly affecting the power of the YDPA must be assented to. The gomen misunderstands the Constitution.

So why is Umngok still claiming to uphold the 3Rs? Pure hypocrites, when you ignore the Rulers' direct request.

The current government does not respect adat, adab, the Constitution, the rule of law, or the people.

They just want to keep their gravy train rolling, while the ordinary people suffer.

So the F.L.O.P. spent RM25 million on shopping for shiny little trinkets?

Don't merely deny it. Sue the WSJ. This has been reported worldwide. It's a global scandal. Our national honour is in the toilet.

So, sue the WSJ. Use public money to do so; after all, after stealing US$4 billion from us, what's a million or two extra for the First Couple?

"Raja Petra did not say how he obtained information about what transpired at the audience, which was reported by Malaysiakini to have been a “four-eyed” meeting.

Former Umno member Khairuddin Abu Hassan told FMT that he accompanied Mahathir to the palace, and that “the audience was “just between the two of them”. Mahathir’s special officer Sufi Yusuf also confirmed to FMT that the 91-year-old former prime minister went to the Istana bearing “a set of documents.”

Raja Petra said “Mahathir’s audience was a disaster” and he failed to obtain the Agong’s intervention or involvement in the move to oust Najib."

The other telltale giveaway of this little RPK fantasy is his "logic" that YDPA granted Tun an audience "to prove he was not under house arrest".

I sincerely doubt that Tuanku would need to "prove" anything to anyone. Nor that it would take 75 minutes of face to face conversation. Nope, RPK is just making it up. Not the first time either.

The Rulers' statement on 1MDB was unprecedented. I think they are fully aware that the country is being badly damaged by the incompetent thief called Najib.

      What can they do?

      Well, we shall see.

Let's just say that it's unwise to stay on the wrong side of the law forever. The First Couple need to vacate their premises, take the Birkins and jewels bought with the rakyat's money, and leave.

So he is free to issue instructions and sign off on all the payments as exposed in 1MDB case (Art.117 1MDB requires his signature, so the "aku sain buta jer" excuse does not work.)

Najib and his gang are also in charge of Khazanah Nasional. It has 50 billion in loans too. RM26 million is required to repair padi irrigation in Perlis and what do Najib and Khazanah Nasional do? Spend nearly a billion for a rainforest in KL!

'..SRC borrowed RM4 billion from the pension fund KWAP in 2012 and has yet to produce a satisfactory account of where that money now is. However, several millions have been traced into Najib Razak’s private spending accounts from SRC..'

Billions of money borrowed from pension fund dissapear out of thin air pretty much like MH370 and nobody seemed to care. MOF couldn't care less. Auditor General couldn't care less. Not even KWAP itself who lent the money.
Some of the money somehow ended out in PM's account who's also finance minister. And yet somehow AG said that's not even an offence because he didn't notice it; as if we were all that stupid not to make sense with all of this. This is increasingly becoming a joke. The truth is this guy treated public fund as his own piggy bank and nobody seemed to care or at least condoning his actions. 7.

    9. We may totally disagree with Allahyarham, Sdr ANON 21:59
but just a reminder for Muslims.
If need to, talk only the better things about this soft-spoken Dr.

It was narrated that Aishah said:
( Book 21 on Funerals, Hadith Sahih 119)

" Something bad was said in the presence of the Prophet about a person who had died. He said:
'Do not say anything but good about your dead "'

  9. Annie,

More unintended humour from the pages of The Blob.

Just to explain, Ustazah posted the song "Persamaan" by Freedom, as a further dedication to "perpaduan ummah" between PAS and Umno. She obviously went only as far as the song title, without realising that the lyrics say:

    "Oh benar
    Oh benar sudah tentu
    Oh sayang
    Ku jua begitu
    Merah dan biru warna kesukaanku
    Aku jua begitu"

    "SAYANG"????

So this is what, an ode to homosexual love between Umno and PAS? Or an incitement of zina between Wanita Umno members and male PAS members, or between Muslimat PAS and male Umno members? Either way, the implications are just - well, wrong.

    Oh, Blobby, Blobby.

    Even her own readers noticed:

BLOBBY BLOG COMMENT: "I am not sure if you should be using a band like Freedom to try and unite PAS and UMNO. UMNO might not mind the band and its music but virtually everything about the band would be haram to PAS. Cam ni habis lah, no chance for UMNO and PAS to unite using your suggested musical score."

    BLOBBY'S REPLY: "My bad".

    HA HA HA HA…oh, classic.

A little knowledge, like a little brain, is a dangerous thing, Blobs.

      Hahahah!!

I'll bet she regrets boasting about her Alexa ranking now :)

I have a feeling she was using her Alexa ranking to justify her dedak and her handlers were stupidly paying out without even checking her figures.

I just realised something as well.

If half her traffic is from Canadian walrus-bots, than her ACTUAL number of page hits is only HALF of what she claims.

Thus, instead of 7.2 million hits, she only really has about 3.6million hits.

  10. Najis main kotoq:

"The news confirms that Najib is seeking to make this witness against him into a political prisoner in a third country. It is also plain he is prepared to use the Malaysian national interest in cross border negotiations as a bargaining chip to get his way.

Thailand is desperate to build a wall between the two territories to counter terrorists and is also interested in a high-speed rail link to Singapore. It has now been learned that Najib had sought as part of any deal to force the Thais to extradite Justo on spurious legal grounds to Malaysia!

The gambit was made by the Malaysian Prime Minister at a top level meeting with the Thai Premier, but was apparently rejected, not least on the grounds that the Swiss and also American authorities have been pressing for Justo to be allowed to serve the remainder of his controversial sentence back home in Switzerland."

"According to Le Temps, if Justo remains a victim of Malaysia’s cover-up, his Swiss lawyers have made clear that there will be open protests at the highest level. The Swiss Foreign Minister has himself indicated that he is willing to fly personally to Bangkok on an unprecedented mission to demand the return of their national, say sources of Le Temps."

And Fei Low was part of the Thai trip, it seems. Planning how to steal more $$$$$ for the hippo?

  11. Big Mama better be careful about going to Noo Yawk to collect her award. For all we know, it could be a bait to lure her to the US of A to subpoena her for questioning in DOJ probe, or highlight her lavish spending while there. Sure will kena from media if she goes. Best chance for WSJ and NYT to hassle her.

Interesting to see if she goes.
