Umno will not survive a civil war

I have not been writing the past four days as I'm quite fed up with the worsening fight between the people of DS Najib Razak and those who oppose them from among pro-establishment supporters.

I was eating at a nasi kandar restaurant earlier in the evening when I saw the TV3's report that opposition leader DS Anwar Ibrahim was offering "proof" of wrong doings allegedly committed by former finance minister Tun Daim Zainuddin.

I find the whole thing as being so stupid.

TV3 and other mainstream media outlets have been going on and on about this for quite a while now.

A few days ago there was even a report by Utusan Malaysia of Umno supreme council member Datuk Mohd Puad Zarkashi attacking former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

That was not only stupid, but also disgusting.

Who is Puad to attack Dr Mahathir?

I don't even want to dirty my blog by putting the link to that story here.

Anyway, Dr Mahathir had replied to the attack in his blog,

POLITIK KELUARGA

If you want to know what I think of Puad and those who use him to issue such statements, read here,

Najib's people need to be smarter

For me, these are all so time and energy wasting.

Umno will in the end tear itself apart if this continues.

I don't think the party will survive the next general election (which is just less than three years from now), if Najib, as Umno president does not step in now and ends the fight.

Umno is no longer as strong as it used to be, to survive such an internal fight.

Nonetheless, my prediction is that, if both sides decide to go all the way and fight till the bitter end, Najib's forces will eventually win due to their control of many party divisions and the warlords.

But BN will definitely lose the next general election.

Umno will lose the crucial support of middle ground Malays who previously were with the establishment.

This group, I am sure will side with Dr Mahathir's forces.

They will get so disgusted with Umno, that even their dislike of Pakatan will not make them want to vote for BN ever again.

This was the same thing which sealed the fate of the Pak Lah's administration.

I am praying it will not come to that, but all indications are pointing that way.

The latest I heard was that there will be a reshuffle of personnel at the PMO with some good and loyal Najib people, who have been serving the PM for years to be ousted.

A new set of guys was said to be coming in to take up the important posts to be vacated by the good guys.

These new guys, I was told, are the ones behind the latest attacks against Najib's critiques such as Dr Mahathir and Daim.

Hopefully I got it wrong because if it's true, then Umno's fate is likely sealed.

Meanwhile, my suggestion for Najib to clean up the Umno headquarters as I wrote here....

Datuk Najib's next three months

....is not likely to happen.

My sources indicated that this posting by Shahbudin's blog was accurate,

Haru Betul...Bakal Setiausaha Kerja UMNO Diminta Jadi 'Protege' Terlebih Dahulu

Well, so much for all those talks about meremajakan dan membersihkan Umno.

Honestly, I am tired.

Lets face it that will never happen, too many hands in the cookie jar.
Maybe just change of hands, nothing more.

    1. Anon 2.17 - I strongly agree. Opposition is in disarray - just not in the headlines now, but the front has been broken in Selangor and East Malaysia and soon nationwide. This will mean that no matter what BN does, it (meaning UMNO and the East Malaysian BN parties) will advance in the next election. Najib knows this and can take the time now to deal with any opposition or pretenders within his own party and the wider government.

All be warned, politics is not just about whacking the Opposition, its about whacking the opposition.

Gotta agree with you on that. I feel that BN will maintain the Federal Government in GE14 with a simple majority (no such thing as 2/3 majority any more) but they might lose up to 3 states (Kedah, Perak & Terengganu) while keeping Johor with a much further reduced majority.

Selangor & Penang will be PR strongholds and Kelantan...well I pity Kelantan. The Kelantanese living and working there yearn for basic development but the problem lies with the ones working out of Kelantan and return back to their homeland and vote for PAS effectively stunting the development of the state. Kesian.

    3. Just ignore kelantan n focus on d three states.

  7. I would like to briefly retrieve and in response to the notion of "transparency in good governance". A "crabby" thought to pounder to start with.

The fact is, demand for maximum transparency of good governance do not endure that business under financial capitalism is UGLY. Apparently, politics is dirty and no politician wants to omit it too.

However, this contravention is deemed for scrutinization referring to the two former Ministers of Finance.

Who are the crooked masters with great intelligence who masterminded and manipulated to hack into the complex financial institutions?

They, with motive, holding an executive talent and power are liable to do so. A craving desire for financial benefit is the driven motivation, a desire to directly undertake con assignments, practically resetting the financial transaction for their own good and purpose.

This indulgent practices occurred in all business enterprises and public services. Those windows of decision have been mended NOT for making correct decision, but at their best decision to score for financial gains. They are in minded for capital accumulation for financial profit while sitting in the position of power. A compelling principal is guarded for their survival of greeds otherwise assumed or at least in principle.

A fact, abide an irony of greeds have a spiral, thus cropping effects in their leadership inclusively to take its cause.

This strongly explains about how likelihood practice of good governance, accountability, transparency and follow the rule of law are bunches of illusionary ethics.

More than that, they bear the indifference not to let other participate in their decision making. They refrain the calls for transparency in good governance. In view, are they really responsible to the stakeholders and the institutions? An unprecedented crafty notion is portrayed.

It happen, the senders veiled to perceive quality informations, they supposedly to share but kept by their invisible hands. Presumedly, it was their in-house private policy, as defined concurrently to remove all barriers but disallowing transparency.

As a result, the structure of the economic and financial foundation have gone haywires.

They were called for accountability of corporate leadership but they abstained. The thoughtfulness for compassion is creeping in to represent grossed gesture. The environment of deceit has taken precedence. Proven to be doing schemes sorted for financial fraudulence.

The other capital factors from inception are incredibly coveted. It has an adjoining linked. It is unbearable to those who cares. The unethical behavior in business sector or in Pubic service, is rampant.

The spiral maneuvering started when Tun M appointed the two former Finance Ministers to take charge the house of Money. They both have been responsible to the financial processes that have caused to financially shatter. These financial fraudulences were made possible by Tun M's privatization policies then.

I think, open the old wounds by leadership are in the making politically.

  8. Put your hand on your heart and sincerely and honestly ask your Conscience, what has Najib, UMNO, Barisan Nasional do for the RAKYAT (regardless of race and religion) in the past 20 years to improve living standards and steer the country towards prosperity and harmony? Why are we still harping about threats to Melayu and protecting Melayu? Melayu have been in control of the country since 1957, so what threats are there by the non-Melayu?

i believe whtever attacks currently going on now have the green light and a go ahead from him.

his last meeting with tun m didnt turn out well. hence the attack. (at least thts how it sounded like reading a certain blog from a certain journalist)

DAIM MULA BERJAYA.

PD tahun 1979 bila dia membeli Malaysian French Bank.

Dari mana Daim mendapat PULUHAN BILLION US DOLLAR?

Macammana anank-anak Tun Mahathir semuanya kaya raya? sebut saja Mokhzani...Tokey Minyak, Mukhriz..laa pon Tokey Judi, Kapal, Arak dan Minyak, Mukhriz Tokey Fibre optik? Cuma Marina Mahathir miskin papa kedana kerana selalu lawan Tun Mahathir, jadi dia tak dapat apa2..nak kahwin jadi bini no. 2 Nazri Aziz pon Tun M larang...kesiannya Marina...sampai matilah melawan Bapak?
