A gentle reminder for Khaled

I'm still sick. Writing this in bed.

Yesterday I went to the clinic and the doctor gave me six types of medication. He told me to straight away go home and rest but I can't. Got lots of works.

When I finally got home about 8pm, I immediately fell asleep. Woke up at 3am and found a few text messages, one of which was from my mother - my cousin in Singapore was badly injured in an accident. My mother is so worried about her. If I feel better later in the evening, I will probably drive across the Causeway to visit her at the hospital. I'm praying that she is okay.

Was just about to catch a bit more sleep just now when someone from Gelang Patah Umno called.

"Eh, what is this Khaled doing coming here to disturb us? He is already arranging his people, is it?" the guy asked.

I was not really sure what it was all about, so I asked him to elaborate. The guy said Johor MB frontrunner candidate DS Mohamed Khaled Nordin had asked one of the high ranking Umno official in Gelang Patah to arrange his visit to the peti undi areas in that constituency.

"Now everyone are saying that Khaled has appointed that fella who arrange things for him in Gelang Patah as the future division chief. This is not good as it could create factionalism as we are facing the general election. Can't Khaled cool off a bit and wait till the election is over?," said the Gelang Patah guy.

I have to agree with what the guy said. I think Khaled need to be cool a bit. He shouldn't try to assert himself too much too early as it will create unnecessary animosity.

I had been hearing all sorts of things about the Khaled camp but had refrained from writing them as it is now election time. Winning the election overrides everything else at the moment. But when things are done which could harm that chances of BN winning the election, I think I have to make things known as a gentle reminder.

Khaled, I think you need to concentrate on winning in Permas first. No need for you to sibuk want to check on things such as the BN war room, and what is going on in other constituencies etc. I think by now you should know how Johor BN operates during an election - the divisions are given a certain degree of autonomy on how they should wage their campaign. So, not yet being a Johor BN chairman, I think you should cool it off first. There will be plenty of time for you to act like an MB after the election....that is, if you become an MB....

Oh, one more thing Khaled, please tell your young aides not to be so blatant. Honestly, they are the ones who created this image of you and the gang going around like a bunch of pirates. I mean, come on la, you are still not yet an MB, and they are already talking about who should occupy which post and room at Kota Iskandar. They even openly talk about who among the JCS people should be appointed to which post. If you don't believe me, go and check with the JCS people, ok? Control them a bit please.

  5. Alahaiiii baru tahu kaa? That is why Khaled cannot even win a place in Majlis Tertinggi UMNO unlike other leaders from Johor. His aides macam virus aids. He has never proven anything as a leader of ketuanan Melayu. Can't even appoint good aides. Speak like typical lawyer. Tumpang tuah Shahrir JB je.

Please laaa. Lawan Puad Zarkashi, Dr Latiff, Bung Moktar pun kalah. MB Johor???

  8. Agree with you. Been hearing about Khaled's boys which is quite disturbing. They even went to Petronas (Penggerang) and demanded projects purportedly using Khaled's name. Khaled should tell his boys not to induldge in this kind of activities. Bad for him, and he may not know this. A good reminder Annie.

  9. "They even went to Petronas (Penggerang) and demanded projects purportedly using Khaled's name."

Somebody should report these sort of behaviour to MACC! Jangan kasi BN nama buruk ok! Throw them to jail if need be. Zaman demand2 project is over. Sekarang zaman meritokrasi. Siapa boleh buat kerja aje patut dapat project.

  13. firstly, the last umno election, he contested the vice president seat not the majlis tertinggi seat. sebab tu xlawan dengan puad zarkashi, dr latif and bung mokhtar. hahahaha. secondly, dia xpernah ckp dia akan jadi the next MB, yg ckp orangramai, blogger, politicians. hehehehe. thirdly, tubuhkan uitm kt pasir gudang pun salah ker? projek tu dibuat secara pfi. kontraktor kena kluar duit sendiri, pinjam bank. kerajaan xakan byr selagi belum siap dan belum blh diguna. hahahahaha. btw, get well soon annie. i know from my reading that u meant well.

    1. Agree.. I think, posting nih dibuat mungkin atas arahan Ghani! Takda signifikan kalau BN supporter utk post mcm nih.. Sbb posting lebih kearah tekanan kpd khaled sdgkan sebrg kerosakkan diperingkat negeri sepatutnya Ghani yg bertanggungjawap

      Sekupang ka Duakupang ka Tigakupang!?

    2. Ghani is not going to be MB anymore and will likely lose in that Chinese-majority Gelang Patah. So, I think you can cut him some slacks as he got nothing to do with this posting. This is just from me, writing from what I heard and observed. In case you haven't noticed, people are starting to talk about the future of Johor with an MB surrounded by hungry aides. As I said, this is a gentle reminder. We are still in the same Barisan. But if things turned really bad, I will send out a harsher reminder.

  15. Hi Annie... Are you sure that you sure you are writing in the best interest of UMNO? You more worried about the Khaled aides rumours more that you decided to write about it now? Hmmm its a bit strange Annie. Not about the subject matter, but the timing of it. Perhaps we should be talking more about the GE13 and how to convince voters out there to vote for BN come May 5. Save this article and publish it on may6. Another 7 days Annie.Let me quote your goodself..."Winning the election overrides everything else at the moment".

"But when things are done which could harm that chances of BN winning the election, I think I have to make things known as a gentle reminder". Wow Annie, really? By writing about this now, will create better chance of Ghani winning? or BN in general?

But Im not helping either...by commenting about this..!! Get well soon Annie. We need you out there.. and as for your "
I will send out a harsher reminder."..send my regards to Ghani and Tan Sri Lee Kum Ho.

    1. First of all, let it be clear that I'm not writing for Umno or for Ghani. I write for what I think is right. If I find that Umno or Ghani are plotting to destroy this country, then I will write against them. At the moment I find Umno, despite its faults, to be a better choice than DAP, Pas or PKR. As for Ghani, I find him to be a good man. That is why I'm supporting him. If I'm wrong about Khaled and his boys, then I'm simply a blogger without credibility and therefore should just be ignored. It's as simple as that. Mine is after all just a new insignificant anonymous blog. But, do bear in mind, I could be right too. It is up for those concerned to check whether I'm writing the truth or otherwise. If you want to attack Ghani via Lim Kang Ho, please set up your own blog and go ahead with it. Several prominent Umno bloggers had already done that not too long ago. Fyi, Ghani doesn't really give a shit about it. His conscience is clear about such things.

    2. Hi Annie... Im glad to you decide to publish my comments in regards to Khaled aides. Yeah you are right..you could be wrong and you could be right.. Your intention is good..but its not helping your man that you think is a good man . and you said.."As for Ghani, I find him to be a good man man.."

"I write for what I think is right."..Great..but of all the subjects you can think what is right right now..is about what Khaled aides doing now? Something that you yourself are not sure yet.. There must be something you sure of.. hmm for instance Lim Kit Siang threats to Chinese community in Gelang Patah for voting against them..well you know better than me Annie..since you are seasoned bloggers. But I guess what Khaled aides supposedly do is more important now to you..hmmm this is just not you Annie.

Im not attacking Ghani via Tan Sri Lim Kang Ho (thank you for correcting me, I always mistaken his name with the one I saw on the oyster sauce bottle). Im just questioning the timing of it. But if I need to set up a blog just to make some comments about that..hehehe Annie you got me there.

"Fyi, Ghani doesn't really give a shit about it. His conscience is clear about such things"...hehe it seemed you know him quite well. Anyway Annie the next time you see either one of those characters.. send my regards to them. I wan him to win Gelang Patah. In fact I want him to win big so DAP will know that Johoreans is not easily fooled by their racist campaign. Come May 5th, Ghani for sure has my vote in Gelang Patah.

  17. Khaled's young hungry aides?..... Yes, they are. There are many of them too. Look at his office directory in MOHE and you'll see about 10 special officers attached to him. Other more senior ministers don't even half that number. They are giving him a bad name and the sad thing about it is that Khaled knows this too. His boys are too eager and "rakus". ....and if you have time, find out what cars these eager beavers drive...
