Remember back then when Mat Sabu was the Malay darling of Pakatan's Chinese supporters?
Well, I don't think that's the case anymore.
They have a new Malay darling now.
And nope, it's not Anwar.
Okay, PKR people may insist on Anwar's handsomeness and new premiership, but he is not the new Malay darling of DAP's Chinese supporters.
It's Zahid Hamidi la.
Yup, that Umno president who led his party to its worst defeat in GE15.
They are singing praises of him in the social media after Zahid pushed BN to join Anwar's unity government instead of going over to Perikatan.
They must have been so relieved that Zahid, despite being whacked by them as the greatest corrupted crook decided not to hand over power to Pas, which dominates Perikatan.
They think Zahid is a Chinese saviour, I guess.
Okay, Malaysians saviour.....whatever.
I came to this conclusion after receiving this social media post from a friend last night,
Here, I put the whole thing in texts for your reading pleasure;
Sebenarnya atas permintaan Sdr Akram Tajuddin yang merujuk kpd post Akmal Hisyam Mokhles yang menaikkan gambar screen shoot dari FB berbahasa Cina dgn meminta saya menterjemahkannya.
Really. They go all out to make Zahid looks handsome.
In fact they even edited Zahid's photo to make him looks like a K-pop idol.
Told you all already, Javanese men could be quite handsome.
So, all those grieving Umno people, you all better keep Zahid as party president as he will bring in the Chinese votes that MCA so miserably failed to bring over to BN.
Next election lah, I mean.
Malay votes? That one, I don't know lah.
: a feigning to be what one is not or to believe what one does not : behavior that contradicts what one claims to believe or feel.
especially : the false assumption of an appearance of virtue or religion: our conventional morality often serves as a cover for hypocrisy and selfishness."
It's quite interesting I admit, seeing the contortions of the pro-Umno bloggers.
Basically, after spending 5 years completely ignoring 1MDB and covering up for it, then they suddenly turn virtuous.
(Annie's pre-prepared reply, "ohhhhhh it's too complicated, I just don't understand.")
So Wak Jahit now becomes the "bad guy" because he's pro-Anwar?
Suddenly you care about corruption?
Really, really funny.
Well, for all these confused bloggers, the answer is simple lah.
Sell your backsides to new masters.
Just support the H2O/Ismail camp of 10 rebels.
Take BN into PN arms.
And watch what happens next.
Choice is yours.
hypocrisy - one day said Zahid is a corrupted crook, next day said he's the saviour. Oi, Umno with Pakatan la now.Delete
"hypocrisy - one day said Zahid is a corrupted crook, next day said he's the saviour. Oi, Umno with Pakatan la now."Delete
Zahid is no saviour.
We all know why he is doing it.
If Anwar puts him in cabinet or as TPM, that will be the end of Anwar.
I go back to my point - Zahid is the lawfully elected President of UMNO and chairman of BN. I don't like it but there's nothing I can do. I would prefer Tok Mat but I am not even an UMNO member, so I have literally zero say.
Wnen you posted that the best stance for BN is to remain neutral, I agreed with you.
That now is no longer possible.
So BN and PH are together.
Trust me, this makes PH supporters just as uneasy as BN supporters.
But we have to live with it for now.
I am not such a macai that I think people are perfect.
There are bad people in PH and good people in BN.
People like Jo Ghani and Tok Mat can actually help Malaysia.
So as a Malaysian, I welcome that.
In the UMNO elections in less than six months, UMNO will decide if they want to continue with PH. The new leadership can pull out from the govt overnight.
The power is 100% in UMNO's hands.
"Malay votes? That one, I don't know lah."ReplyDelete
Then remove Zahid democratically.
I am no fan of his, but he is the lawfully elected President of UMNO.
And UMNO elections are less than 6 months away.
BN has been asked by YDPA to form a government.
They had the choice of PH or PN.
Zahid is the elected leader of the party. He made the call, as agreed in writing by all candidates.
10 rebels now want to sell UMNO to PN.
Well, that is their democratic right.
But follow proper channels lah.
None of this sneaking around to meet PAS brokers at Tropicana.
Or signing secret SDs with Moo behind the party's back.
Kena jantan sikit lah.
In less than 6 months, H2O and Ismail can join forces to defeat Zahid at the UMNO elections.
Then immediately WITHDRAW from the PH-BN gomen.
With full authority.
what's the issue? Easy what. They can be out in 24 hours.
That's the correct method. Remove Zahid democratically.
Then, once UMNO is part of the PAS-PPBM-UMNO unity govt, the Malay votes will flow by millions back to Umno.
And H2O and Ismail can claim full credit for it.
3 kali Anwar dan Zahid bersekokongol menjatuhkan kerajaan. 1. Tentang habis habisannDelete
Personally, I prefer BN to try again on its own. I'm no fan of Muhyiddin and Hadi.Delete
Zahid is still a crook. He still need to go defend one more charges. While i like Mr syed sidek, but the evidence is stacking against him and he now need to defend his charges. These 2 should not be in cabinet. Same with Mr. Guan Eng. Leave it to the court to decide.ReplyDelete
Agree. 3 times he engineered downfall of government to put up Anwar and the Chinese as the government.Delete
To tell the truth, Annie, for the first time ever, I can't bear to finish reading your writing. I felt nauseated and dizzy, feeling so sick in my stomach as I held my stomach, in an effort trying not to puke up the lunch which I have just eaten. These hypocrites can book their tickets to the hell la. Btw pls take zahid and anwar along. Puiiiii...ReplyDelete
Sorry. It's supposed to be a fun posting. Zahid the K-pop idol...heheheDelete

call it win-win or lose-lose, however you cut it, this was the best outcome for stability.ReplyDelete
roll back 5 days, if YDPA chose the 115 SDs of PN led unity govt, the 10 from BN may have been sacked & we will be looking at 10 new by elections, and a care taker or minority govt for next 6mths.
you spent last 3 mths bitching about the need for elections and stability annie. now you have the best possible outcome given the hung parliament - i am sure YDPA ran all these scenarios
as for the so called ‘ chinese communists ‘ calling zahid a hero, you just cherry pick comments to stir the pot for this article.
what would you be writing about then annie ?
I dont think I called the Chinese who like Zahid communists. I also didnt say anything against the unity government in this post. You need to read properly next time. By the way, I didnt cherry pick those nice comments about Zahid. They are from someone's FB posting.Delete
Whether it is win2 or lose2, that isn't the point. We want PH to take back all the accusations they had poured on BN. Saying is one thing, but doing is another, just cannot be acceptable. PH owes its clear-minded supporters an explanation!
what would you have PH do ? It was either a mono ethnic govt dominated by PAS or swing it with BN - at least with BN they have some control.
as for accusations etc, they are politicians after all.
Smearing unfounded accusations on others doesn't make them any better politicians. Instead, can be described as lowly. More so, after choosing to join hands with corrupted BN, as they accused of before GE15.
Zahid now is Chinese idol...kalah Guan Eng mata sepet.....Orang Cina mana tau halal atau haram...dosa atau pahala...janji poket penuh duit....Zahid kalau buat crowdfunding bayar lawyer lawan kes dia sure Guan Eng and geng bagi banyak....lepas ni Gobind jadi defence lawyer Zahid la....hahahahaReplyDelete

Wayang babak #2 dah bermula
This sort of tributes have been flooding in at social media that totally outweighed Zahid's klepto title in the blink of an eye. Is it intentionally designed by PH to help offset Zahid's ill fame as a reward?? Remembering DAP Nga's campaign rhetoric : Buy 1 Free 1, has really made PH's wish granted. Next, looking forward to seeing how Rafiji is going to back down with good grace in such an embarrassing situation. In this respect, I think Sandakan fares better, at least he is just licking his wounds rather than spit. Another thing, is he still interested in pursuing after LCS scandal????ReplyDelete
