(Note: This post is because I don't want to be put in jail for breaching the Madani 3R gag order)
I really hope Islam will win.
UFC294 will be in Abu Dhabi on Oct 22 with Islam Makhachev and Charles Olivera competing once again for the lightweight title.
Very excited waiting for the fight.
Of course, being a Muslim I have to support Islam.
It does not however mean that I hate or dislike Charles. He's a great fighter and a good person.
But I just want a fellow Muslim to do well.
Islam is an exemplary Muslim. He strictly follows the teachings of the religion and very disciplined.
No partying, no drinking alcohol, no chasing whores etc. He doesn't lie too.
All members of the Khabib Nurmagomedov gang of Dagestan, Russia are like that.
I support other Muslim fighters too.
Shavkat Rakhmonov of Khazakstan is one of them.
He has won all of his 17 professional fights in welterweight division with KO or submission.
He's not as religious as Islam but does adhere to the teachings of the religion and recently performed the umrah (minor pilgrimage to Mecca)
Shavkat's next fight will be against Kelvin Gastelum on Sept 11.
I don't support only Muslim mix martial art (MMA) fighters but also those in other fighting disciplines.
One of my favourites is the pound for pound champion of kickboxing Chingiz Allazov.
I was quite surprised when I first found out that the Belarussian is a good Muslim.
Then there's Rodtang Jitmuangnon of Thailand who is reputedly the best Muay Thai fighter in the world right now.
He converted to Islam a few months ago.
Rodtang is not only a great fighter but also a funny guy.
So, yeah, I prefer to support Muslim fighters.
Most of them are good role models.
I hope Muslim fighters in Malaysia will win too.
....Sadio Mané a Senegalese professional footballer as a forward for Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr and the Senegal national team.
ReplyDeleteWidely regarded as one of the greatest African players of all time, he is known for his pressing, dribbling, and speed... wiki
He is a practising Muslim and occasionally is seen making du'a before the start of each match.
Klo dia main bola I tetap akan doakan supaya dia MENANG!!

To be honest, I have no knowledge of all the fighters that mentioned above, but in my mind, one outstanding figure, a Malaysian political fighter, keeps popping out throughout the read-through.
ReplyDeleteI have never followed any PAS election ceramahs before the arrival of Sanusi. His down-to-earth yet steadfast demeanour has caught my attention and convinced me to tune in to his party's "preaching", and found it rather interesting. Only later, I discovered there are actually so many prominent young leaders in PAS.
Well, of course, choosing a good leader, one will have to dig into his backgrounds and past records. For instance, if you are asked to choose between Sanusi and Anwar, both are Muslims, who would be your choice of pick? The same goes for the coalition party. Situation like this, clearly PN prevails over PhUmno. The Madani has failed in its 9-month's attempt and will fail again to secure the 6PRN.
With the election campaigns heating up to its grand finale, we can see and feel the Kebangkitan Rakyat of PN is real and ready to take its course on 12th August.
after pru15 i stop following all politic related page...both umno ph and pas. but somehow during election period we will see news related to politics and if i would to choose...i will choose sanusi too over anyone in ph or pn
