Chinese Merdeka - Part 2

My mother attended this university in Taiwan,

She told me that her days at the university were among the happiest in her life.

Taiwan is a beautiful democratic country.

Yes, it's a country to me now.

I used to accept that it's part of China, but not anymore.

I pray that the communists in Beijing will never take over Taiwan.

In Taiwan, the people who are overwhelmingly Chinese are free.

They can voice and express their opinion without much fear,

Just like in Malaysia since the Najib's administration several years ago,

Yes, the Chinese in Taiwan and Malaysia enjoy their freedom and democratic rights....

.....unlike their kins in Hong Kong,

and definitely unlike their kins in mainland China,

Tiananmen square massacre, 30 years ago.

The massacre of unarmed students right at the doorstep of the communists' seat of power.

Till now those communists in Beijing pretend that it never happened.

Their rabid dogs, despite their bravado in social media, could not answer to it.

The Hong Kong kids are currently fighting so that they would not be subjected to such oppression.

They may not likely win but the world will remember their sacrifices and their unwillingness to roll over and die without a fight.

That's why I'm now praying for their safety.....and their unlikely success.

    2. Pada pendapat saya, Taiwan adalah sebuah negara yang paling best pernah saya pergi dari segenap aspek terutamanya its street food
    3. Walaupun baru 5 kali sepanjang my life berbanding dah 12 kali ke Teheran dan 9 kali ke Turin, saya tetap berpandangan Taipei is still the in the context of a tourist/student/expatriate
    KESIMPULAN:
    Peace no war✌

  2. Theres a very big difference between demonstrations and rioting. You want to demo do it peacefully but when you start to riot and inconvenience others then its a NO NO!!
Imagine if Bersih demo at klia? Is that acceptable?

    1. The demo at Tiananmen square was peaceful until they massacred the unarmed students. And Tiananmen square is not an airport.

  3. Annie, you are tenacious. Morphing into a democracy advocate are u?

To add a bit more credibility to your new found calling, why don't u write about the Papuans who are fighting for their freedom from the democratically elected Indonesian govn next. Lets make sure that this time the Indon army do not crush the protestors like they did in the Dilli massacre in 1991. Surely the West Papuan also deserves their own country just like Timor Leste do. There is not much press coverage on this coz indonesia & papuans are not as glamourous as China & Hongkies.

There's also the undemocratic action by the democratically elected Indian govn asking ppl in Assam to prove they are Indian citizens. Lets hope this bullying tactics does not escalate into riots when the poor, illiterate citizens could not produce docs to support their claim.

  4. Tu kesian young students mudah dipergunakan. Majoriti mereka masih dok bawah ketiaq makbapa, nak beli gula2 pun ada yang terpaksa harapkan duit makbapa.

Doakan this is not one of the main reasons why Saddiq teruja sangat2 nak lower Msian voters ages to 18 yrs old? Bebudak sekolah mudah dipermainkan. Tabur aje janji akan hapuskan semua hutang PTPTN pun mereka dah bole percaya.

Yang golongan tua2 kaya raya laju kalut bawa lari duit mereka ke luaq negara. Kaya kat Malaysia bawa sorok jat Hong Kong. Bila Hong Kong kacau bilau lari sorok kat negara lain pula.. real parasites.

Hmmm Opportunist pun apa lagi, tak renti2 gamit puak2 tamak lai lai ci peng, lumah mulah2, shares mulah2 ringgit pun sikalang mulah2 lai lai ci peng..

Saya masih ingat ketika saya di awal 20-an dulu, dalam tahun 80-an rasanya... balik kampung mak di Kuala Krai...kampung kuala pertang... pak saudara mak saya (sekarang dah tak ada) tak bagi saya salam ngan orang Dacing. Masa tu saya dalam lima tahun pertama pernikahan, my life partner is Sabahan... dia pegi hamun my wife sebab pakai seluar...
