Well, it's actually all true.
I always tried to be as honest as I can when I write this blog.
I also prefer to write things that I consider most important at any particular moment.
However lately I felt difficult to do all that.
That's why I slowed down a bit.
On a particular day, I may feel like writing about something I believe to be important but then after thinking about it, decided not to do so because if I proceed with it I believe I can't be truly honest about what I write.
I rather not write if I can't express my true feelings about the subject matter.
For example, today I strongly feel like writing about something that happened in my home state Johor.
However, after thinking about it, I believe if I write it, I may get arrested and charged for sedition.
Seriously.
I don't feel like going through such shit.
Not worth it, okay.
So, I decided not to write at all about anything.
Well, of course except for this bit of explanation as to why I'm not writing as much as I did previously.

He is truly the embodiment of everything good about Japan and its people.

As far as I can tell from your writings over the years, you know a lot of powerful people BUT you are not one of the "protected species".
You seem like orang biasa just like me and most of us here.
My hope is that, one day, orang biasa will rule Malaysia.
Someone who would do their term in office quietly, do their very best for their country, and when the job is done, go home quietly to a rumah biasa, and a life which is no different from yours or mine.
Believe it or not, I have personally met such people - but of cos, they were not in politics in Malaysia. 😀
If you met those same people in the street and went to their house for a cuppa tea, you would never know that they were politicians who made a difference.
And they remained orang biasa even after politics, living within their means on their parliamentary pension.

As a Johorean I considered myself lucky. I am taught to obey and loyal to my King. Frankly, I do not know why but I go along with it, absolutely I have no problem!

What about this current posted issue? My King's word of grievance against Tun Mahathir has been in the open, scrutinizing into a public cross-examination.
This time, I tend to becloud by the contention. For reason of statements, I want to make believe that I am in my figment of my imagination that my dissent toward my State is in the making.
However, my King is the King, His Highness is also an entrepreneur with his kingship thus kingly duties as an attribution with reference. As it stances, His Highness is prudent by his sovereignty and concerned about the welfare and wellbeing of his subjects.
It is public knowledge and undeniable that the venture with Chinese counterpart from the People's Republic of China (PRC) is strictly a deal of business exchange. By and large, the 'economists or profiteers' refer it an economic engagement which is for the benefit of Johore's progress and prosperity.
More importantly, the immediate return of investment is going to be soundly conducive. It has been estimated to amount receivable of billion Ringgits in return. A situation of monetary engagement which is an offer whom no investor would not like to refuse, also an effort to self justification of opulence.
A Johorean remarks, what really matter is to be a good Bangsa Johore. We have to learn to live along side with the seven hundred thousands (700,000) to millions of Chinese China residents in the Forest City. Like it or not, we were told, they are going to be our adorable and rich new potential neighbors in near future.
We should learn to prepare ourselves to accept the denotation for tolerance and progress. Therefore we should welcome them with opened arms. A grand and warm welcoming party should be organized. After all, they are going to be our Bangsa Johore.
Bangsa Johor will benefit from the Garden's Forest City project, a total investment of 383 billion in the 20-year plan. The experts told us, this mega project would boost up Johore domestic economy.
Never mind, if we wonder who would initially benefit from the changed transactions of the 383 billion?
Never mind that 90% of the 383 billion exchange would change hands in the Mainland China. After all, we are going to have a touch of its benefit in the year 2038.
Nonetheless, I am baffled and I am in Catch-22 Situation. Actually, I don't really conceived and believed what I have written.
