I'm hoping against hope that this is another false alarm and that MH370 and everyone onboard had landed somewhere else,
US Officials Have 'Indication' Malaysia Airline Crashed into Indian Ocean
ORIGINAL POST
Search and rescue operation is still ongoing to find MH370.
Everything else seem trivial at the moment. Haze, water supply crisis, politics etc doesn't really seem to matter.
I don't want to pretend to be an aviation expert and speculate on what happened to the plane with 239 souls onboard.
There were too many of that already.
What I want to write here however was my hope of what may had happened to the plane based on the existing facts.
I am actually still hoping that all those onboard are still alive and that the plane had been diverted from its original flight path to land at an unknown location.
Outlandish that it may seems, but the scenario in my mind for that to happen was that the plane was hijacked and the pilot was forced to switch off all instruments which enable the aircraft to be detected.
The hijackers then told the pilot to fly low to avoid detection by ground based radars along a new flight path.
Bear in mind that Malaysian military radars had detected an "intermittent" signal of an aircraft flying across the northern part of the country until it was lost somewhere north of Penang.
This may be caused by the plane flying very low along the new flight path, causing the military radar to find it hard to clearly track it.
Based on the amount of fuel carried by the plane and the new flight path heading to the west, the hijackers must had planned to land the plane somewhere around the Indian sub-continent.
I do not believe it would go beyond that as it must had been detected after flying over countries such as India and Pakistan or even Afghanistan which is infested with sophisticated Western military assets which could had easily detected it.
The only likely country in that region where the plane could had landed on a sizable tract of land without attracting any attention and which airspace was not so tightly guarded is Myanmar.
Either that or maybe it had flown all the way to one of those central Asian countries by flying low over Myanmar and skimming along the edge of the Himalayan range.
At this moment, that's my hope as far as MH370 is concern.
That is for all those 239 souls to be still alive.
I don't really care who are the hijackers or what were their motives.
All I care is for all those people onboard the missing plane to be able to see their loved ones again.
I also wish for the authorities to check on the flight simulator reportedly built at home by the pilot of MH370. Who knows that it may lead to something which can help in the investigation.
Annie ,
ReplyDeleteThe way you write and show the emotion that glued me to your blog.. you go girl...(btw im the malay guy who had very slim chances in your list.. no problem)
Hi Annie,
ReplyDeleteI too hope the passengers & crew are still alive.
Here's a blog I just posted on MH370

DeleteSorry. I don't think your comment about the pilot is appropriate. Thank you.
With fuel capacity to Beijing, how far the flight can go. As they mention turn back and last detected at Pulau Perak, the destination most probably to Hindi Ocean which are one of the most secluded area in between South Asia to Africa. They are going to west side. What special about Hindi Ocean? find by yourself. There are many island and atoll belong to former colonized power. Some of them even have available runaway.
ReplyDeleteIt's still night time at this place during that 6 hr flight. Aside from the help from several country, Malaysia also should seek help from Russia to get info.
Biol
Interesting conspiracy, blaming it on the west. So the American navy ships and planes searching are part of this sandiwara theory of yours? You think Russia cares? They are busy taking back Crimea. The Americans may be the bad guys, but don't delude yourself into thinking the Russians must be thus the good guys
DeleteWhatever,he didn't mention americans?
DeleteBy the way see cnn post this morning breaking news.
He mentioned "There are many island and atoll belong to former colonized power", which would pretty much be the UK and some other western states (but of course not the US specifically, except for the British territory of deigo garcia that hosts an american airbase, at least during the cold war). If that is indeed the case and Western powers are behind it, that would imply the american navy ships searching in the 'wrong place' all this while are doing so as part of the 'plan' (of course they may also be kept in the dark).
DeleteThen he explicitly says malaysia should get help from Russia specifically, even though it has no assets or interests there.
Re: I also wish for the authorities to check on the flight simulator reportedly built at home by the pilot of MH370. Who knows that it may lead to something which can help in the investigation.
ReplyDeleteMe think that the authorities might have done that.
Hello Annie.
ReplyDeleteThough none of the passengers are related to me, I feel really sad and often can't wait for the latest news.
I also often feel like the plane is hijacked and the pilot was forced to fly to somewhere else. This is just my personal speculation.
I would be really sad if the airplane really crashed and the people on board died.
The people who are searching the missing airplane should also search at mountainous areas and forests, not only at the sea.
Cik Annie,
ReplyDeleteThe way this crisis is being managed, can you still say that our government is doing a "not bad" job?
Another Day in Paradise ... a little down-to-earth concerns as well

Mukhriz,
ReplyDeleteWhen are you going to take over from Najib and his goons?
Hi, I think the Malaysian Govt is doing a good job. Don't take it for me, take it from the foreigners working with the Malaysian Authorities in the Search and Rescue operations. No point reading the Western Media as it tends to be totally biased always having a self righteous attitude when it comes to Malaysia.
ReplyDeleteThe link below gives the opinion of Cmdr. William Marks of the U.S. Navy 7th Fleet a person who definitely has more credibility in assessing the competence of the efforts by the Malaysian Authorities.
http://sinosphere.blogs.nytimes.com/2014/03/11/q-a-cmdr-william-marks-of-the-u-s-navy-7th-fleet-on-the-search-for-the-malaysian-jet/?_php=true&_type=blogs&_r=0
I think the foreign media when not doing opinion pieces has actually been more positive of our efforts than our own non-gov media. That statement by the US navy commander is itself from the western media, and i've seen it quoted in the CNN reports, so yeah.
DeleteI doubt the statement by US navy commander ever makes its way to Malaysiakini or The Malaysian Insider.
DeleteNow you know which local media are the traitors.

DeleteAnnie,
ReplyDeleteYour real call is in romance fiction, if you've not realised that already. But do continue with your blogs. It is where I stop last before calling it a day. A balm to sooth my daily grind.
With this theory of your, this is goin to be recorded as the shyest hiijackers, terrorist in the history of hijack the world have ever seen ,they are planning to die of old age with the passanger somewhere in this world.
ReplyDeleteRomours only lah. The plane is safe and sound in Monggolia. Secret negotiation is underway. All because of Altantuya.
ReplyDeleteYeah, because of course the Chinese government will play along with this kind of nonsense. Right.
DeleteAnd the Chinese think they are clever? Clever my ass!
DeleteMeaning? Can you clarify why you think the PRC, other than the satellite photo false lead, is being in any way deficient in the current efforts?
DeleteOr do you mean anon 0806 must be a chinese because his post is stupid?
Annie,
ReplyDelete1. Let us be realistic: (A) Hijacked? Should not the Hijacker be making contact already by now? They are hijackers, not Angels! You would think they have patience to serve those hostages. Come on already! We have been watching too much TVs and movies! (B) Diverted? Where? The Plane could carry certain amount of fuel only, not as if they could float! (C) Flew under radar? Hahaha. This is the best one! But, a Boeing 777 is not exactly an “Air Wolf” you know? It is huge! Besides, you would think that those spy satellites belonging to China, US, and Russia would not have pick it up already? Hello? Are we for real here?
2. My take: It is all fated especially, if you are a Muslim. You have to believe in fate. Why is it that we rejoice when a baby is born but sad when someone dies? Is not it “a cycle of life” that Allah has promised us?
3. With due respect, if one of those on board MH370 is mine, I would’ve performed “Solat Ghaib Jenazah” for him/her by now. I would pray for Allah, the Most Gracious and Most Compassionate, to bless his/her soul, and place it amongst those righteous souls (I have lost my mother, and I know how it feels to lose your loved ones). I would “redha” over what had happened instead of to mourn it, which incidentally, is discouraged in Islam.
4. Death is nearer to us than we thought. It is not a matter of “how” but “when.” Hence, why when we are alive, we are required to do good deeds with each other instead of hating each other, as, “you are here today, but may be gone tomorrow...” Nevertheless, if by the grace of God (which my logic said very unlikely), they are still alive, Alhamdulillah. Otherwise, let us just say Al-Fatihah, for those souls, Amen. Allah knows better. Let us move on with our life while we are still alive. Be good with each other.
If you care to read carefully what I wrote the scenario I gave is my hope had happened. It doesn't matter whether its realistic to your judgement. I am just hoping for those onboard the plane to still be alive. If you feel they are dead even before we found the plane, then you are entitled to your opinion. For me, I will pray till the end for their safety until we know what actually happened to them.
Deletecouldn't agree more Annie.
DeleteI want to make believe that MH 370 has been hijacked. As far as I am concerned, the passengers are saved and alive somewhere at the moment. I look forward for news of demands from the hijackers soon.

ReplyDeleteThey are alhamduli'llah trying the best to their ability out there, and here is a comment from one of those who is adding value, SOS:
"This is all coordinated by the Malaysian government. They coordinate both the water-space and the airspace management. I give them a lot of credit.
They have done what I would call an exceptional job.
.. They track all these assets coming in from all these countries, they make assignments, and they’re very efficient, very professional"

Hi Annie...
ReplyDeleteIm as hopeful as you are. Your suggestion to look into the simulator at the captain's house could be a clue. Ive been bugged the instant the media revealed of the simulator found in his home.
As there's no solid evidence to assist in the SAR,I think it's not a far fetched idea if DCA worked on possibilities and even speculations.
Lets not ruled out any possibilities as ridiculous as it may seemed.
This was an unprecedented incident. Lets tackle it unprecedentedly.
Maybe the Pilot is planning to set-up a flying academy, after retirement. You think the Pilot is training terrorist to hijack planes?
DeleteAfter-all its only a simulator? It only simulate. Just like what people, especially women buy in adult-shop.
Semua okay for the pilot follower of god to use a simulator like adukt shop?
Delete“Military intelligence is heavily involved in Malaysia Airlines 370, but contradicting itself and denying the public from needed information, thus increasing speculations officials are unauthorized by the military to disclose the craft’s whereabouts and intel by 25 high-tech passengers, employed by five major defense contractor technology companies, was likely valued enough to seize the plane.
ReplyDeleteTwo Chinese companies represented on the plane’s manifest list are declared U.S. national security risk due to its spying with backdoor computer technology. Congress ousted them from business in the U.S. and warned American companies to halt business with them, only two of five such companies tight with military.”

“The engines remained connected to satellites as part of a Boeing maintenance routine, and Boeing has confirmed the aircraft remained flying for five full hours after it “vanished” from radar. Obviously the Malaysian military really did track this plane as they originally stated. Someone forced them to back down, only to have Boeing blow it wide open once and for all.
ReplyDeleteThis re-confirms an AWACS hijacking, they remembered to jam the radar and the transporter, but did not take into account all details and missed a huge one.”

Beforeitsnews is a crackpot site and you would do well to ignore it.
DeleteAnon 00:57, it may be a dogmatic or an unconventional site but it gives positive information from different perspectives. Only fools on the hill would ignore Beforeitsnews blog site.
Delete0057 Denial syndrome based on technology point of view it might be true.
DeleteIf you believe that AWACS planes caused 9/11 like that article states to support its conclusion I'm sorry I can't help you.
